[This is the face of Ruby when she is well and truly panicking. She takes one deep breath to settle her nerves before starting to speak. Yes, she took the breath after starting the recording, she's not thinking too much right now.]

WHY DO I HAVE TAILS IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!? OR...

[Ruby pokes her head a bit. There are fox ears there right now. The video doesn't make her tails much visible, but they're black and red like her hair and there's at least two.]

Why do I have that one lady's power... Wait, but did she have fluffy tails?

Welcome to Halloween.

[ If you can't hear the absolute Doneness of Weiss's voice, you are deaf or dumb.

This is her third round of this and the second time she's been changed. That said, it seems like the camera is very close to Weiss for some reason, and she appears to have a slight sparkle to her... possibly coming off of the wings on her back. Oops. ]

[Ruby pauses. Her eyes seem to look to Weiss' side. Then Weiss' other side. Then...]

It's. Not just me is it.

I... Uh. The wings. Are. Nice at least?

[She tried.]

[ During some of Ruby's travels, she'd come across... someone else with fox ears. Konoka actually heard Ruby's panicked rants earlier, but had been too busy trying to deal with what monster she turned into now. Of course, just like she predicted, her regular abilities were gone.

But with a new monster body came new monster powers, and that included figuring out what she could do as a kitsune, such as...

...when she spotted Ruby, she wound up turning into an almost perfect replica of her. Almost being the keyword here. ]

Hehehe. Neat, huh?

[ Yeah, Weiss definitely had to make a dress out of a thick ribbon so she could go to the toy store and buy some doll-sized clothing. It's been a day. It's also why what she's wearing is not her usual style-- it's really hard to find backless tops last minute at a doll shop! Which is why she's got the video so close to her face because this is an embarrassing outfit, jfc, she misses her frills but all the frilly ones have no room for wings... ]

They're annoying and definitely don't make up for the size difference. Last year I got wings and got to stay my own size.

[ ...Though there were other problems last year that involved siphoning off Sun's energy, so that's another issue. ]

At least you only have tails.

[Ruby is confused by what Konoka has just done. Especially since she doesn't know about the shapeshifting yet.]

It's a gift that only those with fluffy tails can do!

[ Konoka still hasn't stopped smiling impishly. She *could* sound perfectly like Ruby, but she opts to sound like her original self instead. ]

[Ruby tries turning into a copy of Konoka! It's not super-accurate because she only had a glimpse of her, though. Still... It seems like the moment she was told about the power, she knew what to do.]

[ Konoka marveled. ]

Changing into other people seems like more fun than it ought to be. But... that fire thing? I wonder if I can do that too?

Well, I'd think so; same species same powers most likely, right? It's not like proper Semblances..

B-but Zwei's supposed to be the fluffy one, not me...

Semblances? [ Konoka tilted her head. ] What are those?

[ True to what she said though, Konoka lifted a hand. Fire crackled in her palm, feeling pretty similar to the spells she had at home. ]

Oh, I think I recall something like this happening in one city last year.

[Rapunzel herself had never gone, no she had gone through something different, but that wasn't what the point of this was right now.]

It will pass with time, though... At least you are something that won't hurt people, at least.

But that still means being all fluffy and powerless for a week. And that's kinda bad when I'm a Huntress...

Oh, uh, they're unique powers from my world, a manifestation of people's Auras - essentially their soul.

And the fire's... I guess neat? But I miss my speed...

I don't have a fire affinity so casting spells like this would be very taxing if I were my regular self.

...I already miss my healing abilities though.

[ Konoka took a look at her clothes, before shifting back to her actual self. ]

I think I need to get changed into a kimono at some point. For that more authentic kitsune flavor, you know?

As they say one has to adapt. I know I will be since I no longer have my abilities.

You just learn to deal with situations in another way. It gets one to think, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run.

I guess... But it still feels really weird. Especially for me to suddenly be... Fluffy?

Same and especially something that I think might not have much control over themselves.

I guess we'll start with the fire affinity thing? It's something that's a thing on my world, after all. You know the elements, right? Fire, water, wind, earth...? [ There was also light and darkness, but one thing at a time with this girl! ] On my world, people have one element that they have an easier time using than the others. That's what an affinity is.

Er... I guess I know the elements? They kind of correspond to Dust types, at least? I mostly use unaspected Dust to power Crescent Rose, though...
