Who: Albus Dumbledore & Ten
What: Ten maybe sort of kind of wants to show Dumbledore the Tardis
Where: Garden Park
When: November 20th
It hadn't been a particular good few weeks for Dumbledore. Gellert was still risking his neck, and, worse, avoiding him while he did, which was impressively bad timing considering that Li's curse was only worsening by the day. All of which felt entirely out of his hands, which was a sensation he desperately disliked but seemed helpless to do much about.
And there was an odd feeling at the back of his mind, a nagging sense that he needed to be elsewhere. Dumbledore had tried pushing it aside, knowing he was needed here, but it felt like it was growing stronger. It was like a voice, whispering in the back of his head that he would need to go to the docks, which -- well, he was hesitant to do that, for reasons both selfish and selfless.
So for the moment, he chose to clear his head in the park, walking along the paths and letting the nature around him settle him. It was enough to quiet his thoughts and let him focus on what to do next, the clockwork of his mind ticking along more regularly as he strolled.
(CW: it may get emotional/sad in here)

Which he what he needed- useful advice that wasn't his own and someone to lean on that also wasn't himself.
Even if himselves have been supportive about the whole Ten and Rose thing; considering on how long that went someone can't go back asking for another mess that he got himself into by the end of his life.
And didn't think Mirajane would be gentle - and even if she was they didn't have a connection he wouldn't be able to feel it. Which is the problem of his own choice.
Namely that of making the choice of letting everyone walk away, or nudging them away or erasing their mind.
And choosing to numb himself rather than deal with the pain of lost love. Because he was afraid of himself - because of the first time on what losing Rose did to him. He was sure that he'd go through it if he didn't stop feeling.
Then also, the why. Why find another Donna and feel warmth to only lose them again?
The little bit of warmth this place offers he likes having in his harden hearts and wants more but knows there's going to be pain once he's able to allow himself to feel completely again.
He also can't keep shagging Rose for having an emotional high. Doesn't solve the problem and for him - well - his hormones just don't have it in them.
Not when it matters anyway. Elizabeth The First - he doesn't know what that was outside of being thirsty for comfort and also saying screw you universe and what you've done to him.
Of course, the excuse for seeking Albus wasn't some one's issues; but showing Albus the Tardis - though to be honest there really wasn't anywhere he'd talk about these issues.
As Albus is scrolling about - Albus will hear a sound as a blue Police Box appears out of nowhere. That also feels alive and Albus may have seen at the party.
