3rd Curious Thought [Video]

Oh ah, I beg your pardon, I'm a bit curious about the elections. [She's a bit curious about everything, really, but that's beside the point.]

Can anyone vote in them or must you be a certain age? Where does the voting happen and do we vote for one person for each city or just the one we're living in?

Thank you very much for your answers.

Hello, I can answer those questions.

The voting happens directly on your device, and the CPU will pester you about voting until you do it. So anyone of any age can vote. And everyone votes for the Guardians of every city, regardless of which one you live in.

It seems like any age can vote in this. I might not be of age in other worlds, but here I can vote as much as anyone else.

It's pretty weird really. Makes you feel more like nan adult.

Well, when the list of candidates comes up on your device, you just choose the ones you prefer and then submit. It's simple, really...

There should be a City Guardian debate coming up within the next few weeks, that will broadcast on the devices. There, they'll discuss the management of their city's protection, and you can ask them questions of your own if you'd like.

Yes, anyone can ask questions. Some even have the nerve to ask silly questions, just to tease the candidates...

[She shakes her head. People can be weird sometimes.]

Well, asking questions isn't mandatory, so if you can't think of any, that's fine, too.

I suppose. It depends on the question...

A...mad sort?

[She looks puzzled for a moment, as the girl seems to go from gentle and serene to anxious in an eyeblink...]

I'll ask around, see what the voting ages are--feelin' a little civic minded there, princess?

Not 'civil' minded, sweetheart--'civic' minded. Means you care about the good of your city and community and stuff.

Hello! Anyone can vote in the elections. If you have some other questions to ask, I'm running for Guardian in Nova City.

Same with people age fourteen. But here we are in a world that allows it for whatever reason.

Makes you feel a bit like an adult.

Elections?

[It's a thing Totori doesn't have any experience on, so she was admittedly a little curious.]

What did you find out from your question if you don't mind me asking?

[Have a boy who looks perhaps only a bit older than you, Alice.]

If they let me run for Guardian, I don't think they're going to stop other children from voting if they want to.
