Hey, this might seem one of the oddest things to be asked anonymously, but I'm trying to I guess be a nice guy and get my friends a present for the holiday, but I am stumped as to what to get a girl.

I tried asking some shopkeepers but I don't think they understood the fact I was buying for a friend and seemed to think that I was buying for a girlfriend, so their ideas just didn't work or were just not a good idea. I also wonder what made them think that in the first place.

So any ideas I would appreciate.

I guess that could be something, but I've never seen her with anything to do with music.

She is a girl, not a baby bird and I'm just saying that she is a kind and caring person who loves clothes.

How close are you to the person you're shopping for? Because unless the shopkeeper was recommending lingerie or sex toys, there are some romantic gifts that can be keyed to a very close friend with a little finagling.

If you're not that close to this girl, however, the foolproof go-to is ALWAYS chocolate. Allergens permitting, of course.

They're magical bags that can hold more than they appear to. One of the prizes at the Combat Crash tournament was that, and it was able to hold up to two hundred pounds worth of stuff in a relatively small bag.

Pretty useful, but especially for a girl who has lots of stuff to carry around.

Dude. Chick is just slang for a girl or younger woman. Usually one who's 14-25 years old. Did you really think when people say they're going to pick up chicks that they're looking for baby birds?

But that just sounds pretty useful in general. Though is it expensive? I want to get my friend something nice, but not at the expense of not having money.

Well they are a good friend. I mean they made sure I wasn't going to get ill this winter so I would consider that as good friends, right?

But I do know that she likes food at least.

I don't think so? I don't own one. If you don't go for one that looks like a designer bag and stick to something that's more functional than anything, it probably won't be majorly expensive.

We have certain words that others might not know the meaning of here. But I don't think it's that weird.

Then you absolutely can't go wrong with some really nice chocolate. Or, if you know any of her favorite foods, you can usually find a nicely tailored gift set. Summer sausage if she likes savory, a tin of butter cookies if chocolate isn't her favorite, things like that.
