(The dark heavy fabric of the North weighs her down and Daenerys pauses more than once in her solitary journey to survey her surroundings. Where in the name of any gods is she? All of this feels like a dream and she glances down, touching the silver dragon broach to remind herself that, yes, she is awake. The metal is cold against her fingertips and her dreams are usually not that intense.

Eventually, she will reach a city. Eventually, she will seek aid. But she is a proud Queen and she is in a foreign land without a friend and without her children.)

Excuse me... (There is nothing she can do but approach strangers and hope they do not kill her on the spot.) Can you tell me the name of this land?

Have any dragons been seen in the skies? (If her sons are here, she needs to find them.) I am looking for one with black scales and another with green.

Have you checked Fayren? Qubine just ran for election again, but I don't know all the dragons here. There's a lot.

They were little when they first hatched. I have raised them since the beginning and they see me as their mother. (Her voice naturally softens - as does her expression. Alice is adorable.) Would you like to meet them? Their names are Drogon and Rhaegal.

[Uai tends to tense when he hears people asking about dragons, given his protective feelings for Hana and own true form. The request for a scaled dragon, black or green, quickly rules out any of the dragons that he has met. Maybe she’s just an enthusiast? Or did she lose some companions?]

Any reason for those specific colours, or are they just your favorite?

They are my sons; I know their scales like the back of my hand. (And she worries for them, of course. Especially after losing Viserion.) They will be calm if they see me.

GOODNESS! They should be very easy to spot, then! Not very much is that big here!

Oh, yes, I did think that to be the case. I've never heard of a dragon that didn't. What I mean is, might they prefer sheep or cows? Or perhaps something even bigger! I don't know if they have elephants here, now that I think of it, but perhaps so. If they have a favorite sort of food, we could go to those flocks or... herds? Yes, that's right! I believe it's herds of cattle.

We have dragons that are native to Fayren, and only a couple from another world. If the dragons you're looking for are from your own world, it's unlikely that they arrived here with you. But not entirely impossible.

I've only seen a gold dragon, sorry.

If you lost someone when you showed up, check Everglade and Fayren. Everglade's homey for shadow dragons, and a nature dragon's got lots of room to spread out and draw power in the forests of Fayren. This place caters to all sorts, they should be all right.

[He pauses, squinting a little at the dragon on the feed--because she's obviously a dragon herself, based on her looks. Could easily be a royal, so...]

There are many dragons native to Fayren, but unless they were with you when you awoke, you will not find what you're looking for.

[He raises his hand, as if to stop her.]

“Returning” seems to be out of our control. But for what it’s worth, there’s a comforting theory that time stopped in your world once you left it. Nothing will change, no matter how long you’re here.

...how? They do not speak in a human language. (Unless they are a dragon like a Targaryen?)

I have not seen an animal that can match their size. They have eaten cattle and sheep and fish too. Elephants would provide them with more meat. If they exist here, they could be partaking of them. My sons know how to adapt their appetites.

(Alice has a good notion, however.)

The largest herd will attract them the quickest. Should my scent mingle with those animals, they will know I am here.

...it stops? How? (Magic. Daenerys bites her tongue, frustration and fear entering her eyes.) Why am I here?

(He is certainly handsome enough to be quite the distraction! Daenerys is reminded starkly of her Dothraki and maybe even of Drogo himself. While her heart has been stolen by another, she will always, always love her late first husband.)

I do not know of such distinctions. My trio are only dragons as far as I know, though the largest is as black as smoke and shadow. They say he is Balerion, the Black Dread reborn.
