"Not my thing," Charlie replies again, this time holstering the gun and giving Aaron a mildly annoyed look. This one-track mind thing made for a very, very boring conversation and Charlie wasn't a fan of boring conversations.

"Books are, for me, a brief escape from reality. If the book is good, it's like stepping into another world. If it's boring, it gets put away and I find a new book to read. Or, you can read to learn something new."
