Backdated Action for Hikari [December]
[Takeru had finished his day of work jingling all the way back to the apartment. He really did not like the uniform that Moonbucks makes him wear during December. An elf uniform with bells that actually jingled, but he was glad that when he got home he could get dressed and finally go on the date he had planned with Hikari. A nice little holiday style date.
As he reached the apartment he went to walk in.]
I'm home. Are you in?
Video
Hey quick question?
[Takeru was currently pausing at a blank page. he had been wanting to write a few things, but he found himself struggling whereas before it seemed so easy.]
Has anyone ever dealt with writer's block before or anything similar? If so how do you get over it? I'm trying to write a story, but I find myself struggling with a certain section. [As he speaks Zorua his Pokemon had come on over and brushed up against him. he wanted a fuss for once as Takeru moved to look down for a moment before leaning over to fuss him.]
Also... I'm thinking of quitting my job and potentially finding another and I am just wondering if anyone has anything that I could do? I mean making coffee everyday has taught me a few things, but I think I've reached a point where it's not as fun as it once was and I want to try something new.
[He just hoped that he actually could find something or get help.]

[action]
[Not too long after, Hikari's voice would call out from the kitchen:]
In here!
[action]
Hey there. How was your day?
[action]
Uneventful, mostly. I only had one appointment all day, so a bunch of us just went for a walk in the park afterwards.
[action]
[He paused for a moment.]
Hikari... if you want to laugh, do it. My outfit is awful. It jingles every step.
[action]
[Okay, it kind of was. And with every little jingle, she let out a small giggle. Taking in the whole of the moment before remaking eye contact. So he could see she was laughing at the outfit, not him. Honest.]
Work?
[action]
[He, however, holds it up and shakes it and of course it makes a noise. He knew he could laugh at himself at times, but this was the second year he'd had to wear this outfit.]
Yeah. It's the work outfit for Christmas time. We get one for Valentine's day too if you remember that one.
[action]
[But, for some reason, it took her a moment to remember the outfit.]
I...think so?
[action]
Let's just say I got wings. They stick with a theme if they like it enough.
[action]
[Granted, she probably caught a glimpse at some point and hadn't thought much of it. For one reason or another.]
You're a good sport, Takeru-kun. I don't know many guys who would be willing to look so silly for the sake of a job.
[action]
[He shrugged slightly, it was really nothing special, but he had his reasons.]
The only reason I am around is that I'm the longest worker currently, I help bring customers in and because it's better than working in a grocery store. I guess you could add the whole unsure of what I want to do with my life too.
[action]
Well, I'm not sure I could help you with that right now...but if you're hungry, we have some leftovers in the kitchen I could heat up for you.
Why don't you go get changed, and I'll set the table?
[action]
[He removes the hat and puts it gently on the others before walking into his room to get changed. Something basic, simple white long-sleeved shirt and trousers but as always came with a hat as he soon stepped out.]
I could heat them up if you want.
[action]
Sure.
The containers are in the fridge. Second shelf.
[action]
[Heading over to the fridge he leaned over to look at the second shelf. Once he spotted the containers he managed to take them out and bring it over. It wasn't long before he was looking around for a pan to put it in. Once that was done he looked over.]
After this I have somewhere I want to take you. Hope that is okay?
[action]
[She turned back in pleasant surprise. Of course, her day wasn't exactly booked. She figured they would do something together, but for him to have a specific idea...]
Where?
[action]
[Which means he wasn't planning on saying anything anytime soon. As he was sorting out warming up the food he looked over.]
I could do a hint if you'd like, though.
[action]
[She had never been so conscious about her fashion choices--certainly not like Mimi--but there were always certain occasions that required a certain dress code, and she liked to be conscientious of that.]
[action]
[Takeru already was aware of what he was going to wear. Currently, he was focused on the food in front of him, watching it warm up that little bit more.]
Food should be warmed up enough.
[action]
[She thought over her current wardrobe as she accepted her portion of the meal, idly pondering in between bites what would be best. He said they'd be outdoors, so pants would most likely be ideal. She had some warmer leggings she'd gotten recently...but if she wore those, she might still be able to put on a skirt. And a fluffy sweater. Something cozy, even beneath a heavier coat.]
Re: [action]
Best get dressed as soon as you are done and I have to hope that you'll like it.
[action]
[Besides, he knew her too well not to plan something she would enjoy. Not unless there was some sort of joke or tease involved, which...]
[...okay, that was always possible, but not for the duration of an entire afternoon. A hour or two at most. Probably.]
[Still, she was in a trusting mood and chose to take him at his word. With her own meal finished and cleaned up, she sent him one last smile before heading back to her room. It seemed so quiet with just the two of them...more than once, she glanced over to the corner where Taichi used to stay...but quickly shoved those thoughts to the back of her mind and headed for her closet.]
[It wouldn't be long before she reemerged, freshly dressed in warm clothes with her hair brushed.]
Ready.
[action]
When he felt like it was warm enough clothing he moved to step out and wait. It wasn't long before he smiled grabbing the keys when he saw her going to open the door.]
Ladies first.
[action]
Thank you, kind sir.
But...that might not be such a good idea this time, considering I don't know where we're going exactly.
[action]
Then I shall be your guide to where we need to go.
[action]
[action]
He soon moved to step away.]
Okay, will you wait here for a couple of minutes?
[action]
Alright.
I'll stay right here.
[action]
Here we go. Surprise.
[action]
You really set all this up? For me?
[action]
[He smiled as he moved his hand, extending it out towards her.]
Now let's have a good ride around Fayren.
[action]
[Her expression softened. A warm smile appeared. Accepting his hand without hesitation, she allowed herself to be gently pulled up and into the carriage, where she took a seat beside him. The cushions were a bit firm, but still comfortable. The crip air around them stilled as any stray winds were momentarily blocked off by the carriage walls.]
[The horse hoves clacked in front of them, and she watched the world peacefully pass them by all the while.]
Re: [action]
This way we get to see much of Fayren that we might not have before.
[As the carriage moved, Takeru glanced out the window from time to time. It was an interesting view for the most part, but it was also nice to see just how normal the people can appear considering this was the city where magic was a thing. As they moved further and further he soon looked over briefly before moving to gentle grip her hand.]
So what do you think so far?
[action]
I think it's wonderful. Peaceful.
The city looks so different like this.
[action]
Yeah, looking out from here it does seem peaceful. Makes me like this place a little more at least. Maybe we could come back another time to explore the city more.
[action]
You almost make it sound like you didn't like it much before.
[action]
[Buy magic is harder to tell what one can do without them actually doing it.]
[action]
Like the Digital World.
[Okay, perhaps the parallel wasn't exact, but the more she thought on the matter...along with their shared histories with the other world, the more convinced she seemed.]
Things happened there that one could consider to be "magic". Not just the Digimon attacks, but even how the world itself seemed to react. Like the last time we were there...
[action]
[As he looked out again, he knew they had been in the carriage for a while and he knew they were about half way through the trip around in the carriage.]
Looks like we're halfway around. After this what to actually find somewhere in Fayren to just sit and look at the sky or something?
[action]
[Eventually, she sat back. Resting her back against the seat. Settling a little more into the soft cushions...and leaning slightly against his forearm.]
Whatever you want, Takeru-kun.
[action]
It wasn't long before he spotted an area he was going to keep a mental note on. After a few sights later it was over as he removed his arm to open the door and get out, holding it open for the other.]
I think I saw a place a little far back that looked like a good spot to sit.
[action]
[And it worked for them. Because it made these little moments all the more special; when Takeru wrapped his arm around her, she leaned further into his warmth. Tempted to close her eyes and enjoy the moment, except then she would have missed the remaining part of the tour.]
[It seemed over almost too quickly when he finally removed his arm and opened the door. There was a faint chill where his warmth had been, and HIkari missed it more than she was willing to admit aloud.]
The area with those wooden benches?
[action]
[He was more than happy to show her the way. It was the little moments that the boy enjoyed with the other while they were able to have it when not working or the usual hanging out.]
Seems like such a beautiful spot.
[action]
It is. I'm surprised it's so vacant right now.
Re: [action]
But hey that is a good thing for us.
