[Video] Oh no, COOTIES
[Cut to the sweet-hearted seraphim sitting on her desk in what appears to be her Kindergarten classroom, legs neatly crossed as she waves her fingers in greeting... then continues to lazily wave them to keep her little paper plane airborn behind her. Her hair, surprisingly to some, is back in a ponytail today, but the loose wisps framing her face continue to move as if there's a constant breeze that follows her.]
Could someone kindly explain what 'Valentine's Day' is? A few of the children seem very excited by it, but the others... [She scrunches her nose and shakes her head with a soft laugh.] I'm afraid I don't have any idea why they might be opposed to it, but we did string some paper hearts today, and there was quite a lot of chatter about 'cooties'...

I guess when you're young girls still have cooties. But they don't really, it's just a thing kids say.

As for the 'cooties' thing... I'm just throwing a guess out there, but it looks like a bastardization of 'cute' to me. Most pre-adolescent boys abhor anything 'cute'.

As for cooties, that's a very childlike thing as they think they'll get germs from kissing.
