That's a lot of people leaving in such a short amount of time. The universe I was in before, we called that fluxing.

It was weird. Any time it happened, the whole town felt it. We knew when people randomly showed up and left. Kind of a dizzy, nauseated feeling.

Sorry your friend left, by the way. That's never fun.

Your town is named for a sleeping disorder? I honestly don't mean to sound insulting, there. It's probably an insulting thing to ask. And clear evidence that I've never heard of where you're from, so it stands to reason that it's another universe I've never been to. Which is cool.

You're very own dinosaur? O.M.G. I always wanted a pet. What's a dinosaur like as a pet? What did you feed it?

It was, yeah. I don't know who named it some old guy from the past. I'm sure I learned about it in school but it didn't seem that important as time goes on. It's being rebuilt while I'm here, I hope, but if not when I go back home, that's what I'll be doing.

Pretty sure dog owners have nothing on this. It's a lot of work. Clever Girl requires a lot of attention. She's a micro-raptor.

Okay, I guess now the only question remaining about your town is which was named first; the town or the sleep disorder? Because either way, it's probably a hell of a story.

Oh she's so cute!! I didn't think she'd be so small. I have pictures of chocobos. They're not mine but they're the best animal ever.

[And Peter will get a picture in return of a black chocobo.]

The sleep disorder, I'm pretty sure. But then again it was a bustling city, the capital of Lucis, so it was probably pretty accurate. We have a lot of interesting history stuff, but the name of the city probably isn't one of them, sorry to disappoint.

Isn't she? My girlfriend back in New Dodge thought so, too. They were best buds. I didn't exist when the two of them were around.

[ But, truth be told? He loved watching Mal and CG interact. Mal seemed happy and from what Peter knew of life in Auradon and back on The Isle of the Lost? It wasn't so amazing. ]

I'm more a science and technology geek, really. It's all cool. Also, that chocobo is amazing. How big do they get?

Technology huh? I might know something a little bit about that.The technology in Insomnia was relatively advanced for the most part, in some ways, and regressed in others, compared to Niflheim which had a ton of technological development. Most of it seems to be the kind where people do the wrong things with it.

They get big enough to ride. They're really soft and really friendly. They're a good way to get around, but you have to be nice to them or they won't cooperate. They're very intelligent. I wished I could have one when I was a kid, course that was pretty impractical, and so was a dog, but man it would've been awesome. Knew a guy who owned a chocobo ranch, and we rented them from him during our travels around Eos.

I keep on keeping on. It's just how it goes sometimes. I'll manage. I always have.

It seems this world does that a lot. I've met a lot of amazing people who just someday vanished, never to return and I never got to say goodbye either.

And yet we continue to stay here and that makes it more painful. I wish there was something I could do to help with that.

It's going to be painful no matter where I go, I think. That's what loss is like.

I wish there was a shortcut to feeling better, but I haven't found one.

That's nice of you to offer, but I'm not sure anything can make losing someone just disappear. I wish it could.

[Ted knows exactly how that feels. He also knows that he's never been all that great at alleviating it, but that wont' stop him from trying.]

Sorry to hear that Prompto. If it's any help, the Holoplaza has a few novel simulations involving marksmanship and zero gravity. I wouldn't mind a spotter at the gym either.

[Not the most spirited acceptance, but he'll take it. On reflection the gym sounds better; it's more grounded and calmer than the frenetic fun of virtual reality. Easier facilities to use, too.]

All right, the Sand Gym seems best. When you're ready, let me know and we'll compare regimens.
