genessia | 9th Wrap Action catch-up of April

[There is probably a high pitch voice of a bird echoing these halls. Aizawa's door is closed, but it's evidence the sound merged from there. Anyone who cares to open without permission will find Aizawa and a tiny parrot. The tiny parrot is muffling sounds right now because... the poor thing is wrapped up with Aizawa's capture scarf, from his beak to his body. At least he gave the bird some leg room, it's probably on the floor, on it's back moving his tiny feet rapidly. Animal cruelty?]

[Don't matter what job he does, the parrot follows. Aizawa refuses to take absents even if the bird has annoyed him. He could be seen walking into the class, all serious and prepared and then... there is a tiny parrot perched on his shoulder or head. Aizawa in the meantime ignores it's presence.]

Even though unnatural events are happening at the moment, it's important to stay focus and continue your training.

'He's just worried. What a great dad!' [Says the bird. Aizawa brushes his hand at the parrot. Parrot avoids and perched back on him again.]

Quit staring or I'm docking participation. Let's get this over with.

[When work was over, it was time to visit some places before heading home. The parrot is still latched to him, either head or shoulder, not leaving his sight. Aizawa's hands are tucked away in his pockets, from his nose and down buried under his may scarfs, looking like your typical grumpy hero. As people passes by, the bird voices.]

'He looks lazy but he works too hard.'

'He hates attention, some credit would be nice.'

'Did you know he had a crush on-- RAAWK!'

[That folks is the sound of a bird's beak being shut by an index finger and thumb.] Shut it.

Has a crush on whom?

[So asks the sharply dressed bastard in the bright, and I do mean bright, fuchsia suit with the matching little poodle walking beside him. Of course Augustine doesn't typically wear this color but he looks nice enough out of the usual black and red motif. However, his new four-legged friend looks quite unusual.

Dogs aren't normally "pink" after all.]

Quite the bird you have there, Aizawa. [Augustine says with a slight smirk.] Reminds me of the same little monster Smoker adopted as of late.

[Event or no event, Aizawa plans to take his not!daughter to the zoo and he will, even if the damn bird is still using him as a perch. Thankfully he's not wearing anything hero, just a long sweater with a turtle neck. He tends to brush his neck once in a while, unusually.]

Come on, let's get this over with.

'Please, he's been looking forward to it.' [Says the bird.]

'He wants you to--RAWWK!' [That folks is the sound of Aizawa shutting the bird's beak with his finger and thumb.]

[Of course, of all the people who had to hear it. He's keeping the beak shut while the bird flails. COME ON.]

Probably cause it is. [Ignoring the first part. He can't judge style, look at him, and he's walked with people in costumes. For all Aizawa cares, it could be a costume to him.] Vlad Tepes. What's with the dog?

[It's pink!]

[Oh, so THAT was where that voice was coming from. Nemuri knocks, but then barges in, because, well, Nemuri, followed by a goat that was chewing on some paper. She pauses as she looks between the bird and Shouta for a moment.]

That bad?

Is it? [He gives the parrot a second glance and almost winces in sympathy. Aizawa has a deathgrip around the poor bird's beak.] Must you be so rough with the bird?

I'm quite certain that's animal abuse.

[Some hero you are, Aizawa.]

Ah, the dog? [He glances down at the little pooch with a sigh.] I honestly don't know. The little pooch hatched from an egg I found.

[Yes, he's quite aware of how ridiculous that statement sounds but alas, here we are.]

It's been following me ever since.

[He takes a moment because, bird gets his attention first. Then he will direct his attention to Nemuri.]

Bad. [Another pull for a good tight squeeze. RIP bird, but he lives.]

Who the hell puts an egg in my room?

Got a spell to shut it up? [He sounds quite serious about it too. He eventually lets the beak go, and the bird gives another squeak.]

'RAWK! He prefer blonds!'

Did it taught you how to dress? [Deadpan to the end! As if he doesn't register the damn bird anymore. Well damn, they all are following that pattern. Don't mind him if he slips to his own thoughts for a moment.]

No, not anything remotely humane enough to be used upon an animal.

[Despite Augustine being something akin to a sorcerer, he can't just snap his fingers and turn someone or something mute. His brand of sorcery doesn't work that way.]

Blonds, hm? [He gives Aizawa a slight glance.] Goodness, I wouldn't have ever guessed.

[Augustine chuckles a little until the cad mentions his attire.]

Of course not, you buffoon. [He scoffs.] I just felt like dressing up a little. That's all.

So you don't.

[He can read between the lines. What kind of magician are you?]

And like that, you believe it. Seriously?

[He looks a little annoyed at that. Maybe also it is a true fact but he can still hide it, in the logical way!]

So it doesn't do anything else.

'He forgave you a long time ago, moron.'

[Not phasing. Nope.]

[In contrast, Satou is doll'ed up in sweet Lolita fashion. She's usually dressed in some sort of Lolita dress, even for work, but those are dresses made with magic: Durable copies of what she sees in magazines. This is a physical dress: The sort of luxury she can only have in Genessia, and on her days off.]

A ZOO in FAYREN~! I wonder what kinds of animals we'll see! [She's bouncing dangerously on rocking horse shoes, beaming at the bird and Aizawa.] Maybe we'll find some friends for your new birdie partner, ne? What's your birdie's name?

H-Hey! My magic has its limits.

[Augustine let's out an annoyed huff as he crosses his arms over his chest. His magic unfortunately has some limitations since he's more of a summoner than a sorcerer. Still, it's a shame that he can't simply silence the bird with just the snap of his fingers. That would be a nifty ability.]

Why shouldn't I? [He questions with a sly smirk.] It has no reason to lie, now does it? Clearly the bird is magical by design.

[He pauses when the parrot says that next bit.]

...On second guess, maybe it is lying.

[There's no way in hell that Aizawa forgave him for the stunt he pulled months ago. Bakugou's life was placed in danger because of him along with rest of Genessia City. Hell, Augustine doesn't even trust himself to summon his monsters anymore. That whole disaster is still fresh on his mind.]

Don't kill the poor thing. What did it do?

[She glances down at the goat.]

My buddy eats lots of paper... and mostly important things so far.

[The hell was that...?]

[Toshinori stopped dead as he was passing Aizawa's room and took a step back, frowning at the door. A second passes and he reaches for the doorknob--]

[--then thinks better of it considering what happened the last time he just walked into Aizawa's room--BUT THE DOOR HAD BEEN WIDE OPEN THAT TIME SO IT WAS TOTALLY NOT HIS FAULT--and knocks twice on the door, giving it a good solid five seconds for any occupants ~~panic~~ tell him to leave before opening the door wide enough to stick his head in.]

Ah... Aizawa? What is that noi--[and he just trails off, seeing the bundle of squirming legs on the floor] Is that a bird??? [So much for manners, he's just walking in and leaning down to try to pluck the little guy up.] Did your cat drag it in here?

[:| and why do you have it wrapped up like a little bird-mummy?]

[With the Hanami festival Kiritsugu had decided to host at such a very late date there were a lot of preparations to be made, especially considering it was less than two weeks away. It would be a lie to say Tomoe wasn't irritated about it--not the fact that he had decided to host such an event, but the fact that he had let her know about it so late in the game. She was meticulous with planning and organizing. There were steps to be taken and arrangements to be made, and often a mere two weeks was in no way shape or form enough time to make it happen.]

[Fortunately she was more irritated than stressed about it. She could make it happen. It would be close, but she could. Kiritsugu was just incredibly lucky that she was as organized as she was. But all things considered it did mean that she was going directly to their main suppliers in Genessia to ensure the orders were put in correctly and that enough emphasis was put on the timing.]

[She was on her way back to Fayren after visiting the last of the suppliers, stopped at a crosswalk and waiting for the light to change (Ayame would be so proud, she didn't panic over automobiles anymore) that she noticed a tall... rather shabby looking man with an almost hilariously talkative bird hopping across his head and shoulders waiting at the same cross walk. She watched it for several long seconds, tilting her head just a bit.]

I did not know they could speak in complete sentences...

[Didn't birds just mimic what they heard?]

[If only Shouta had that kind of ability, shut anyone up if he could, like that. Best ability.]

Stop making it sound like it's complicated to say 'no, I can't'.

[Shruuuuug. He just stares. Stares quietly while Augustine paints a smirk on his face... then fades when the bird spoke, again. Damn stupid bird. He sighs, glancing a side.]

No, it's not.

Want to trade animals?

[He's keeping his bird wrapped up longer.]

It talks too much.

[Meanwhile, as Toshinori walks in, there is Aizawa keeping the poor bird wrapped up. Of course he's going to save the poor tiny helpless bird.]

Careful All Might. That thing is a Villain.

[He was trying his best not to sound sarcastic.... trying.]

If he did, it'd would had been dead. But no, Destruction knows better. [Speaking of Destruction, he's probably hiding under Aizawa's bed. Was it afraid of the bird? Or Aizawa?]

Will his new friends adopt him instead?

[He asks indifferently, after he takes his hand away from the bird. The bird shakes it's face. Shouta reaches out to pick up Satou, lightly, from the collar of her lolita dress and set her down off the horse shoes.]

Not sure.

'Call him dad.'

Where do you want to start? There are different types of horses and cats.

'He wants to adopt y--'

[SMACK. That's the sound of Aizawa back handing the tiny parrot. Down it goes, hanging on Aizawa's back, with just it's claw-like foot.]

No. I don't need a second Mic in my life. [A smirk.]

Sounds like... fun.

Is it now...? Waiting for villain pick up then? [He scoops the bundle off the floor, letting it's kicking little birdie feet get a grip on one of his fingers.] What a name for a cat... [He starts unwinding the parrot until a little head pokes out.]

Oh no, it's cute--hello little guy!

So where did it come from?

Normally, no.

[He waits for the light to change and moves, hands tucked away. The bird shakes his face after behind held roughly.]

Don't pick up an egg. You might end up with something like this.

'Only certain people are allowed to annoy him.'

No. This one makes Mic look second place.

[And that says a lot. Meanwhile poor little parrot is squirming for freedom.]
