Up until he'd experienced it, he'd have wished that there was a way that he could grant the wish she was probably thinking of, if only for a little while. But now that he knew what it was like, not just how bad it was, but how dangerous. He wouldn't tell this to her, though for the same reason she didn't tell him what she was thinking right then.
