When she caught his reaction to looking at something else, though, he hastily tried to come up with some kind of excuse for his blushing and sudden awkwardness, but came up blank. Crap. "Well... I uh... kinda looked at the pictures there in the basket on the desk," he said. Then hastily added, "I wasn't trying to; they were just there. And... yeah, sorry."
