[Sailor Venus appears on the screen. It isn't obvious as to where she currently is and she is making sure of that for the reason she is about to say.]

People of not only Genessia, but of all the cities. It has been shown that Lucifier, the one that has caused a lot of people a lot of trouble has the nerve to put himself up for nomination to be city guardian. I will not stand for this and so I ask of you, the people to stand up and be nominated for City Guardian of Attleton. Stand up for the people of that city to be protected and not have to live in fear of what he'll do to them should he gain that power.

We all know what he is capable of so would you really sit back and let him have the power over a whole city?

[She takes a deep breath, simply talking about him really hits a nerve with her. It'd why she is doing something about it.]

Forgive me, I've only been here a short time. What did he do?

Honestly, I am surprised he is using the official channels in this way. I would have suspected that, had he wanted to take charge of one of the cities, he would simply attempt to take one by force. That aside, I wonder how many people there are here who would vote for him, unless he threatens them of course, which is concern enough by itself...

He's the one who thought it would be fun to blow up a hospital because he could.

Not only that he actually seriously injured me during that same day. He's just dangerous and giving him that power would make him worse.

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose surprised. Although you actually have an answer to who would vote fr him. Guys who are very similar to him....or he would even count his own ego as a vote. So sadly he would get some votes, but I believe the people here are better than that and outnumber that. They'll make the right choice.

It is something I would consider if no one else would step up, but I do believe we have someone who is going to thankfully.

That is true...I imagine there are people here who would want a man like him in charge, and others still who may be threatened to vote for him. I do hope enough people here can safely see sense, yet... I still cannot see why he is not trying to achieve this through force directly.

...That is reassuring. I am tempted to stand for the position myself, also. I would rather no one else painted a target upon themselves.

[ mamoru doesn't bother to transform to respond to this, fine with responding to venus as mamoru instead of tuxedo kamen. he's familiar enough with the mythology commonly associated with that name to see a deeper meaning in the senshi's insistence that someone else be chosen for this role. ]

I have to agree it is... odd to say the least that he hasn't, which honestly makes me more than a little nervous about what he might be planning. If he is planning anything. But it's him, so I wouldn't be surprised.

You should, at least that way the good side would more than likely have someone in the chair that can help them.

That's correct. There is someone named Lucifer here and he is exactly as what stories would say.

Then we'll do what we have to. Keep an eye on the situation and plan accordingly. That always seems like a good idea at least, doesn't it?

[She found it hard to actually explain what happened. Sometimes she simply didn't want to say what happened to her and how much it effected those she cared about. Especially Usagi-chan. She doubts she could ever forgive herself for hurting her that way.]

Lucifier had decided to blow up a hospital. So I did what I thought was a good idea at the time and go confront him. But I underestimated him and ended up getting stabbed through the abdomen and thrown from the top of a fifty foot building.

[She knows what he'll be asking in a moment and she is still wondering if she should say it or not.]

And to think you'd be smart enough to know that I'd kill anyone who runs against me. Guess I was wrong.

Your hope's, I pray, well placed. For all those who are running against him, please meet with me on the 8th of October. Let us take council.

Strategy. Time is short, and secrecy is of the utmost, so that is all I can say at this time.

But I do believe it will be very good.

[ a wave of guilt washed over him for purely illogical reasons. mamoru knew that there was nothing to be done about events that transpired in the past. still, he couldn't help but feel bad for not being there. he could've done something to heal her of her injuries, to do something to help. after all, now that he knew the truth of his elysion upbringing and possessed a legendary crystal of his own, he no longer considered himself powerless or a hindrance to sailor moon and the senshi's cause. ]

[ he refrains from asking, instead leaving it up to her to simply confirm or deny. it could be hard to admit you died. it was still hard to think about the times he had. ]

We all just need to be sure we don't split the vote and make this all backfire.
