Who: Pyrrha Nikos, Adeline, & RWBY Household later
What: Adeline offered to take Pyrrha out to dinner when she arrived because she could tell that she seemed troubled, and things get a little interesting....

[After that shaky arrival, Pyrrha had called Adeline to take her up on that offer. She seemed to see right through her troubles, though she didn't know what they were right now. It would be nice to just... talk to someone who wasn't connected to her world. Not that her friends shouldn't know, just it was easier to get the perspective of another person's at a time like this. 

After settling on a place, she finally spoke after a moment.]

[Later on in the night, she may have drank a bit too much. Luckily she didn't drink a lot during her dinner with Adeline, but... probably more than she should have. She had to have some help from Adeline, but hopefully she wouldn't run into someone else before she made it to where she was staying.]

[OOC: Anyone is able to talk to Pyrrha while she embarrasses herself.]

[ The video starts with Alice and Ryo working at two tables in a very nice looking kitchen. Modern, advanced, obviously Nova City. Everything’s clean and pristine, with loads of brand new machines that don’t look like something most people would see even in Nova City. Both Alice Nakiri and Ryo Kurokiba face each other on opposite sides of their work stations, fierce determination apparent on their faces.

A more traditional cooking setting lies before Ryo with a collection of knives, a few burners with pots filled with water and a wok already on them. They are all just as sleek and pristine as the rest of his area. He has a more traditional wooden cutting board set to the side of his station just waiting to be used. He has soba noodles, which he prepared for this. They still needed to be cooked, but they were handmade. Raw vegetables, peppers, raw shrimps and the other ingredients he will need for the dish. When given the signal to start, he goes to work at a vicious pace, turning on the burners to bring the water to a boil. While that happens, he grabs the cutting board and goes to work chopping the veggies, which would end up being followed by deshelling the shrimp. But for now, he needed to butcher the hell out of those veggies and peppers!

Before Alice, it looks much more like the laboratory of a scientist than a culinary artist upon a first glance. If one were to look in more detail, however, they’d realize that the beakers carefully arranged around the table contain specialized ingredients for spherification, foaming, and other techniques of molecular gastronomy. One of the more darkly colored liquids is actually liquified carrots and chipotle peppers in adobo destined to become a special espuma to accent the dish she’s working on. Once the beaker has been heated up and whisked to the correct temperature, she puts it in a strange looking siphon, which then goes in a very large freezer. When she returns to the table, she smiles at the camera, holding her hand out as if demonstrating. ]

Nakiba is a restaurant that uses a fusion of cutting-edge culinary techniques and traditional cooking methods to bring the best dishes possible to the table. Every bite further of food you eat here will lead your tastebuds to a whole other level of experiences.

[ And then it was Ryo’s turn to speak, so Alice turned her attention to him. Her calm reading of her lines came from a cool head. Ryo on the other hand… ]

Just because our food is so damn good doesn’t mean we will half-ass it on other aspects of this place!

[He says while clenching his Chef’s Knife..looking way more mincing than he should.]

Our wait staff knows what is expected of them, and they know better than to fuc-

[ Only barely waiting until the words are out of Ryo’s mouth, Alice has already gone around to his side of the table to yank the bandana off of his head with the world’s biggest pout on her face. Geez, even in a commercial.. ]

Say the lines normally!

[Ryo’s demeanor changes now that his headband is off. He demeanor is more relaxed, somewhat lazy. He comes off as uninterested in what he is saying.]

Our..um. [He has to pick up his script because he’s forgotten his lines.]

Ah..our..wait staff is highly trained and will be attentive to your needs. They will diligently make sure that your dining experience is nothing less than extraordinary... The view of Nova City from Nakiba alone is-

[He looks closer to his script.]

..its own visual treat, which is best experienced after night has fallen.

[ Alice knows she has to save this somehow, but it’s probably better to just end on a cheerful note. She holds up her finger with a goofy smile as she holds his bandana out for him to take back. ]

Make your reservations for dinner at Nakiba today, we’ve already sold out for the first two weeks. [ She waves bye before going to shut the feed off. ]
