WHO: Vega and Chun-Li
WHAT:  A criminal hunting a criminal (The Suburb Slasher).
WHEN: November 8th
WHERE: Attleton
WARNINGS: Warnings for death

[Attleton was a nice little place. It felt rather peaceful and cozy, truly one would have a difficult time believing any sort of massacre could take place here. But Vega knew all to well that if he desired it, he could commit many murders in this town and get away with it. Vega considered this as he strolled down the side walk. He was an assassin, that was what he did. There are just many factors that you have to control and be aware of so you don’t get caught.

This “Suburb Slasher” didn’t possess that sort of finesse. It was easy enough for Vega to get into the mind of a killer, and then linking the murders to scenes from famous horror stories made things even easier in identifying just how the killer might strike. Vega knew where the next ‘Scene’ was going to take place, and he was on his way there. He’d set up a little scene of his own that he wanted to enjoy.]

[Vega isn't the only one trying to find this creep. Once the killer's M.O. became clear, Chun-Li had to divide her time between legwork and research. That means she's had to watch an awful lot of horror movies in the past few days, not something she could really enjoy. Some she could rule out, as the slasher apparently never copied the same movie twice. But did that apply to sequels? She doesn't know.]

[In any case, she's beyond tired. Watching a marathon of thrillers doesn't exactly lead to a peaceful night's rest. In jeans and a lace-trimmed blouse, Chun-Li pushes open the jingling door of a diner. The waitress greets her, and Chun-Li requests a seat at the counter with a strong cup of black coffee. Once she's situated, she opens up her e-book to start reviewing her notes. She needs to research that John Everyman too, but slander is far less dangerous than cold-blooded murder, so she has to prioritize.]

[She squints at a list of suggested horror movies considered to be classics. Porno Holocaust? No. The Shining? Might be likely. It's starting to get cold, and she's pretty sure that one takes place in an inn that gets snowed over. Kujo? Unless the killer is an expert animal trainer, she can probably skip that one.]
