[When the feed clicks on, it shows a shirtless Kazuya grinning to himself in the middle of a large open area in Genessia City's park, with a large square area marked on the ground with what appears to be police tape around him.]

Attention, Genessia. Since it is that time of year when people choose to celebrate the harsh elements beating down on society, I decided I'd get in the mood as well.

[He turns the camera downward revealing a briefcase full of money at his feet.]

I've decided to give away some of my money, however, there is a bit of a catch. In order to claim the money, you must fight me. One-on-one. Weapons are allowed, and no holds barred. Either make me submit or make me touch the ground outside the marked area, and the money is all yours. However, if you submit or fall outside the marked area, you forfeit your chance.

I look forward to seeing if anyone is capable of claiming this.

[With one last grin into the camera, he clicks off the feed.]

[When someone comes to find Kazuya, he will be sitting in the center of the make-shift arena, eyes closed in meditation. His communication device and briefcase will be in the hands of a JACK unit he brought with him. He doesn't move, and if not for the gentle rise and fall of his chest, one might easily mistake him for a statue.]

I don't think that is what the holiday is about. I mean I don't think people would want to celebrate being in harsh conditions.

[But that could be just her, but never the less it doesn't help her understand. She knew what the holiday was and was pretty sure it meant something else.]

I think I'll pass of the whole fighting thing, but I do wish whoever is dumb enough to try the best of luck

How much money?

He comes to find him, without word or reservation. No weapons but those that made him what he is; a grin on his face, ready and eager for the fray.

"The money," he said, massive fists on his hips, "will be a nice bonus. But the fight..."

He chuckled, grinned, and stepped into the arena, in a ready stance.

"Will be far more worth it."

Hardly. It's a capitalistic holiday that favors those who go out of their way to trample others in pursuit of slightly lower prices for things that nobody truly needs. Like beasts, humanity consumes until they are nice and fat to ride out the cold weather.

This is just a different expression of the same ideals.

They will most certainly need it.

Kazuya stands slowly, tilting his head from side to side, popping his neck loudly as he does. He raises his fists into his own ready stance, his left eye gleaming a crimson glow as he opens his eyes.

"I just hope you can provide a decent challenge. You have the first move."

Eh, I guess that's a decent amount of money for some easy work.

Ah, powered. Familiar. But granting the first move is a dangerous thing. On the one hand, it can give an advantage. On the other, it can allow an opponent to counter a mistake.

In fact, taking the first move against an unknown style is, on balance - to him, at least - far more dangerous than not.

He opts instead for a slow advance, limiting his initial efforts to a deliberately feeble low kick to knock his opponent's legs out from under him.

So is this first come first serve or are you paying everyone who shows up until someone hits you too hard?

I have prepared multiple payouts should they be necessary, however I doubt I'll have to give out even one.

Kazuya hops over the kick, twisting in the air and sending a spinning kick at Zangief's head. Of course he doesn't expect it to land without consequence. After all, that low kick was obviously scouting Kazuya's reaction times and style. Now he was returning the favor.

Do not underestimate me. I think anyone who steps into the ring with me will find I'm not an ordinary human.

[Well, this person sure sounds confident. Karla's willing to bet that he must have some serious skills to back it up. Already, she can feel the blood rushing within her, pushing her to take this challenge.]

[And so she makes her journey over to the park where Kazuya is waiting. She glances over at the JACK unit holding the briefcase.]

It looks like no one's managed to claim the money yet. ...Or has anyone else even come yet?

You look so ordinary, though. I guess I'll just have to see what you can do.

I don't see it like that myself. To me the holiday is more about the company one keeps than money or gifts. While they are a factor and are something I always buy from the heart it is the lessor of my reasons.

It's not what the holiday is about to everyone is what I am trying to get at. Don't assume otherwise.

Need it but doesn't mean it will actually work. But question... Why fight? I ,mean I'm all for men fighting so long as there is a reason and not so much blood shed.

Whether or not you come is inconsequential to me. The strong will come and test their mettle, the weak will not. That just leaves the question of where you fall in that equation. Either way, I really don't care.

How you frame something does not change the content of the picture. How you see things only hides the ugly truths that are staring you in the face.

I couldn't care less how people think about it. All I'm interested in are the observable behaviors that drive the season.

Fighting is a reason unto itself. For me, the fight is all that matters.

Judge my ability on looks alone at your own peril.

[He stands slowly, every movement methodical and calculated. He cracks his neck and raises a fists, making a beckoning motion to Karla.]

Oh...well.

[Karla steps into the makeshift arena, drawing her sword from its sheath and bringing it down to her side. She takes a moment to study the man. Decent muscles, but not overly bulky, which suggests a healthy combination of speed and strength. And the scars covering his upper body don't go unnoticed either. This guy has obviously been through a lot, suggesting that he won't go down easily. The third thing she notices is his lack of weapons. Could this suggest that he is capable of fighting without them? Such a concept is unfamiliar to Karla, which could play in Kazuya's favor. She'd have to be careful with this one.]

This should be interesting.

[A casual remark as she debates whether to make the first move, or let her opponent attack first.]
