Usually when large events happened Koishi made a fuss. Not so this time. Her spine went rigid, her gaze snapping over to where the tower appeared, her eyes round as saucers. Likewise her third eye had opened, following her gaze.

"Miss white?" She reached back, managing to get her fingers around the edge of Junketsu's skirt. "Do you hear that? Empty and piercing and all around. I can't make sense of it. Not even a little bit."

It was not easy to unsettle or disturb the little youkai, but whatever was going on was doing just that.
