[It had been a day or so since Glynda arrived. Upon settling in, Glynda had expressed interest in taking a job alongside him at the Honnouji Academy in Genessia. It is with this in mind that had Ozpin escorting Glynda to the Student Council President's office so as to introduce her to his boss.]

[He had to suppress a chuckle as he entered the building. Never would he have thought that he'd be suggesting someone to work under Satsuki considering how they had met, but he'd fostered a healthy respect for her. The longer he had spent at the school the more he saw her subordinates interacting with her, and the more he realized she wasn't attempting to conquer for conquering's sake. In many ways she reminded him of a friend back home.]

Thank you for agreeing to meet with us on such short notice, Miss Kiryuin.

[He steps aside in the doorway, motioning for Glynda to enter and take a seat.]

[Should Glynda receive a tour, the 'somewhat' will end up being quite the understatement. But Satsuki has been making an effort to make it look less daunting. She just isn't succeeding there.

She has to admit since Glynda's mention, the raven-haired teen had been curious to see what kind of person is. Admittadly, she had been wanting to meet Ozpin face to face as well. (And let's just say for now that Satsuki and Ozpin worked out a reasonable deal to obtain his raise prior to this. The only reason she needed time was because she had wanted Yukihime's advice on how to handle that.) Satsuki herself is adorn in a uniform that, it knowledgable in Japanese culture in any way, could be noted as an amalgam of a school uniform and a military uniform.

She gets to her feet as they enter, shoulders straight.]

It is I that should be thanking you. I am very pleased to see teachers interested in teaching at this academy and it is in everyones best interests to place situations such as these in high priority.

[Then seats herself after the others. Wow. Glynda is tall.]

As Professor Ozpin has likely told you, I am Satsuki Kiryuin. I am currently Guardian of Nova City as well as.. Headmaster of Second Honnouji. [Beat.] I've still much to learn about how to handle situations outside of my culture, so I must ask for your patience should you find you still wish to work here after our meeting today.

[Ozpin just crosses his legs in the chair, idly fiddling with his cane as Satsuki and Glynda exchange introductions.]

I can personally vouch for Professor Goodwitch's credentials. We've worked as Hunters in our world for quite some time, and she has helped with the education of future Huntsmen and Huntresses for some time as well at my school.

In fact, I would even go so far as to say her practical ability far surpasses even my own, especially when it comes to combat.

[She adjusts her glasses. She'll admit that Ozpin was right about this person--she definitely has that certain, ah, rigidness that James was so proud of. Not that the General would ever describe it in such terms.

She sits in her chair, almost as straight as she had been when standing.]

This place may not be like Remnant but that matters little when it comes to having this sort of education. It's best to be orderly and prepared. Even if such talents aren't needed in the future, it builds discipline.

[That is one of the rare things she had agreed with James on. She loved having everything in place.]

As Professor Ozpin says, I worked as a professor at Beacon for quite a few years. I've been more, how should I put it, more hands on than he has been. Watching over the sparring matches was one of my normal duties.

[She glances his way for a moment.] I wouldn't go that far. You're more of a tactician than I ever was.

[Ozpin's vouching would have a lot less impact if it weren't for Weiss. She's willing to take his word for it, so responds to him with a nod.]

I see. One of my goals here is to strike a balance between education focused on practicality and tactical combat. You may or may not be aware that there are no shortage of talented youth here in Genessia City but I have noticed first hand that organization skills are sorely needed. Others find themselves with lack a direction and in some cases are lethargic. I feel these two issues are a major part of the barrier that is hampering our potential to unify and discover a way out of this predicament.

[It's an extremely lofty project. But she's up for the task. But Glynda did mention one of Satsuki's favorite words: 'discipline'. 10 points to her.]

I would be interested in making use of whatever you can provide- And by the sounds of things it appears strategy would be the most beneficial. Sadly the dangers that lurk in Genessia are still largely unknown. Can you work with that kind of disadvantage?

Considering what I've seen in this world, and the dangers of our own, I have no doubt that Glynda and her skills would be an exceptional resource in dealing with whatever we find ourselves up against. She has been a vital and integral part in the protection of the Kingdom of Vale for years now, and has a variety of skills both offensive and defensive in nature to draw on.

[Ozpin is just going to smirk with no small sense of pride in his voice as he talks about Glynda's accomplishments. It's no secret that he's extremely proud of his friend.]

[She's confident in her ability; she wouldn't have risen to the position she was in Vale if she hadn't been.]

I understand if words won't be enough. If a demonstration of my skills is needed, I'll be honored to oblige.

[It's pretty difficult to miss Ozpin's enthusiasm that's for sure; it's very different from when the two usually address one another. Something tells her that the housing situation has to do with the blonde she's speaking to. Satsuki raises a hand to her mouth in a thoughtful manner.]

A demonstration.. Would be welcome, but I would like to use something a bit unconventional to display your skill. Does chess exist in the world you hail from?
