Out of curiosity, how many of you are from a planet called Earth? I know our Earths aren't all identical, but there seems to be quite a few of us from an Earth here.

[ and maybe that means something? she doesn't know, but in her book, it's definitely something worth noting -- especially with how interesting invaders from the far reaches of the galaxy tend to find the blue-green planet in her version of the world. ]

I'm also working on establishing an animal shelter in Attleton once things there settle down. If anyone has experience with taking care of animals or has a lot of love to give, I'll be looking for both full and part time employees in the near future. Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in.

Genessia wasn't the first reality I came to once I was taken from my home. I traveled from world to world with a group of people for a time. I don't know if it means anything, but... most of them were from some version of Earth too.

How long has it been since you were back home? Your proper home?

[There's a gravid silence at the question for a long couple of moments.] ...I don't know.

At least thirteen months. I know it was more than that - by several months, probably, maybe as much as half a year or more - but I don't remember anything between being home and waking up in that morgue thirteen months ago.

Thirteen months. Well over a year. That's a long time to be away from home.

It is, but... I don't know if I really want to go home. [Which is not to say he preferred being a Traveler.] I feel like a should. They need everyone they can get, if they're going to survive. But this place... it's a lot nicer than home. And I lot of my friends are already here.

Well, they say that time stops while you're here. If that's the case, then I don't see why staying for a while would be such a bad thing.

I, however, would really like to get home. I miss Angel Grove and my friends.

I think it would be more accurate to say time here is independent of time there. But I suppose you're right.

Ah, well... from what I can tell, you'll probably make it home for graduation. It just might not be any time soon from your perspective.
