Nova City Carnival

The NCC (Nova City Carnival) opens up its gates for business on the 27thof March. The line to get inside was decently long during the first few hours, but as the day went on it shortened as things got into full swing and booth attendants got into the flow. By noon the place was pretty packed, with there being so much to do, many people planned on spending the entire day there.

Come nightfall, it didn't thin out at all. If anything, attendance grew as more citizens of Nova City made there way there. The atmosphere is as positive as you can expect from being around people that are enjoying themselves. And it would continue on like this until the final day.

[ She says it with enough warmth that it couldn't be anything but earnest. ]

[Loki stops everything for a moment. She doesn't want to miss out on their memories...? She even sounded so earnest when she was saying that.

Error, error. New emotion found. Finding a way to deal with it- Loki might be blushing and is now attempting to make it look like he's not.]

What are you saying? Idiot. They're probably very bad ones. You're not missing out on anything.

[Smooth, Loki. Smooth.]

You're the one who said you wanted to make them, even if you don't remember it right now.

[ So there!! :T She's excited about making memories with him. ]

I... did?

[What? Why did he say that? Gosh, Loki, what are you doing in the future??]

It must have meant something other than you... thought.

I don't think so. We spoke at the Christmas Market. I was worried you hated me, but you ended up telling me that in private.. though things got a little complicated after, with Balder-san... but everything turned out alright, don't worry.

[ She smiles. She doesn't want to tell him everything, but she knows that he cares about Balder a lot, so she doesn't want him to worry. ]

You'll have a hard time convincing me that you meant anything else by it, Loki-san.

[Complicated with Balder? Well, if the guy heard Loki saying that he would go to a jealous rage. He really needed to find out what happened after.]

... why would I said that right after finding out you're a human...? I don't get it.

There was a misunderstanding, and some things happened. You asked me not to mention what happened to anyone, so I think it's better if I wait until you remember.

[ Even if it's Loki himself, a promise is a promise. ]

[It's bothering him endlessly after this, but whatever. It's soon their turn on the ferris wheel anyway.]

I'll let you know if I experience it myself.

I look forward to us being able to remember the same things, Loki-san.

[ And look, they're letting them on the ride now! ]

Uh... yeah.

[He'll just quietly go on the ride, avoiding eye contact. Why was she so happy and friendly!!]

[graduations]

[ Yui buckles in quickly, her hands gripping tightly to the bar in front of them even though the ride is hasn't started yet. She's flown on Pegasus with Apollon before, but Pegasus didn't do crazy gut-wrenching drops while she was on him, okay? ]

Ready, Loki-san?

[divineliar]

[It takes time for Loki to actually buckle himself. It's not like he's done that before... and honestly he'd rather not have anything restricting around himself.]

I'm always ready. See, I got this thing on.

[Uh, no you didn't.]

[graduations]

Loki-san...

[ He definitely doesn't have that on right! Yui has an uncertain look on her face before leaning in to help buckle it correctly. She doesn't want Loki to fall out of the coaster and have to go to the hospital because he's got his limiter on... ]

[divineliar]

[Wow. This is awkward and making Loki even more embarrassed than earlier. Maybe he should have tried seriously after all!!]

[graduations]

[ She gets it pretty quickly, then sits up properly. ]

There, now you won't fall out.

[divineliar]

I could have gotten it myself...

[graduations]

It didn't look like it.

[ and the guy comes by and checks their restraints, then in a couple of seconds the train starts moving. ]

[divineliar]

[Loki's looking kind of excited like he was with the fireworks. He's excited to see where this might be going...]

[graduations]

[ It's going up and up and up.. and Yui's holding tightly onto the hand-rail. It looks like she's a little nervous, but not scared. She gives a smile to Loki. ]

Ready?

[ They're almost to the top! ]

[divineliar]

[Loki looks at Yui. Was there something to be nervous about? He was just feeling excited that maybe this would actually be fun. Was it dangerous after all? They did need these security things...]

Yeah...?

[graduations]

[ Just as the first car of the coaster train starts dropping, Yui takes a large breath. Then their whole train is tumbling down a huge drop and Yui lets out a big ol' scream. She's not the only one on the coaster who is either, some people even putting their hands up. Yui's holding with her arms locked in position, but starts laughing as they get to the bottom of the drop. It's nowhere near as intense as riding on a Pegasus without a seatbelt or anything but Apollon really keeping her on, but screaming and the feeling of dropping is half of what makes it fun. ]

[divineliar]

[Loki's definitely one of the guys who's throwing his hands up, after the initial shock. Not that he's quiet either because it takes him by surprise. But he's happily laughing at the end of it.]

Woah! That was fun!

[It's like he's the kid playing with the fireworks at the summer camp again...]

[graduations]

[ Yui's laughing along with him, happy to see him so pleased. It's always something she cherishes when she can see Loki looking so happily about something. ]

Isn't it? There are lots of different rides, but I thought you'd really like this one!

[divineliar]

You were right about that! [... wait is he getting a bit too excited about this human stuff? He coughs.] I mean, if you have other ideas, I'm willing to try.

[graduations]

Well, there's one I'm sure you'll like, but I'm not sure if I really want to go on it.. I'm a little nervous.

[ She doesn't want to get queasy around Loki even if she's sure he'll enjoy it. ]
