[Yuuki was currently sitting in the library, at work and looking rather bored to say the least as she used her free hand to stamp an incoming book before placing it to the side.]

I'm wondering if people here are allowed to change jobs? I mean this job is okay, but I feel like I want to do something more, or at least something difference.

[She put the device up against the books as she stamped another book, pushing it to the side.]

Does anyone else ever feel like they took up the wrong job when they first arrived here? I mean, I guess when I first took my job, I didn't know what I could be good at. Now that I've been here a while I at least know this isn't the job for me. But I still am unsure as to what I could do. So I guess I am saying I'm thinking of looking for another job and ideas will be of use to me.

I don't see why not? I imagine all you will need to do is sign yourself up for a new job and politely tell your current employer that you intend to move on.

I don't actually, I mean not until I get a better weapon anyway.

[Her rod only did so much and was more effective on vampires and those weren't common unless one is in Everglade.]

But I was thinking I wanted to do more to help people, rather than just sitting around scanning books in and out.

Um... well. [She rubs the back of her head slightly. What skills or talents did she have really.]

I might not be book smart, but I have been trained in combat, so that is something.

Of course we are and some of us absolutely started off with the wrong jobs. It isn't like there's anyone who's going to stop us from quitting and taking up a different job.

I just thought I would check, I would feel bad if we weren't meant to and tried only to have something happen. But now I know that isn't the case, I can at least start thinking about where to go next.

You know what... I don't actually know. I guess I never had a job before so I have no idea what to expect.

It's not like it's a gang where they come and pop your kneecaps for changing jobs.

Incidentally, I would recommend against joining anything like that.

I wouldn't join anything like that anyway. Not my kind of style really.

But at least I know one kind of job I would never do.

The criminal kind of work. I think I'm more for keeping the peace.

Is that not something you could use here? There's always law enforcement or security work.

Not really, though I could do security work, maybe.

It would, though I don't think my weapon would be useful. It's why I'm getting something else.

Oh? Well weapons are certainly one thing, although I prefer these, myself. [He cracks his knuckles lightly, before leaning back in his chair.]

A noble cause, for certain. Perhaps the job centre would be a fair place to start?

You use your fists, I guess I already knew that. Still it must hurt.

That's actually the place I got this job, I guess it would work again.

Technically, yes. Or in one case I used it to throw someone.

I was trained to use that weapon, so I won't know until I try.

I thought your job was quite peaceful.

What job that Yuuki want?

[Too late, she is already getting things done... Like getting a new weapon secretly so she could use it for possible Bounties. Fun times.]

It is. Peaceful but boring. I'm really not a book person.

[She still is unsure of what she wants to do exactly. Though she had been thinking about being a bounty hunter. But she won't say that outloud.]

As of this moment, I haven't a clue.

This, he can never deny. Yuuki and being a book person. Aidou knows she is not a book person just like Kaname does.] Would you rather have me worried every day for your safety?

Perhaps, you are simply restless.

[She sighs as she scans yet another boring looking book, which she knows she will have to put back once she is done. She didn't think it was because she was restless, she felt that she simple disliked the job.]

It I had a job as a waitress or something would be a step up. Would stop the restlessness if that is the problem.

[She knew it wasn't, but still.]

[Kaname can surmise the many thoughts circling Yuuki's thoughts as she browsed through the books. But can he really genuinely desire a more dangerous job for her? Even if it were to make her immensely happy, it is hard for Kaname to agree.]

But that won't make you happy, would it?

Who knows, it might it might not. One won't know until I try, right?

[Better than scanning books at least.]

Besides that way it's not dangerous.
