I think I need a place to stay for a while. I haven't been able to sleep here. Everytime I hear a noise, I think it's Mercury coming back for me. He still has his key, and even if he didn't..

[ She shuts her eyes, shaking her head. ]

Cinder disappeared, too, so I'm on my own now. Is there anyone I can stay with? Only until I find a place that's safe to stay on my own, I don't want to hide forever, but for now... I want to be able to sleep at least a couple of nights.

Going to move out for a bit. It'll look suspicious if nothing happens after staying in the same place where Mercury knows where I am and nothing happens, especially after that display. Text me only while I'm out, if someone spots me talking to any of you I don't think I'm not going to have a good time.

(given the tone, that seemed like a serious question, despite how incredulous he was at the asking. If God were so unknown as that, combined with the power its youth had, well...it's a wonder that more acts of depravity didn't come out of Emerald's world)

I've heard of religions before, but for the most part, we take care of ourselves. We were supposedly created from Dust forever ago just like everything in our world, so none of the other creation stories I've heard here really seem like they apply to us.

[ And Emerald is suddenly very, very, very glad that she decided it would be a good idea for at least one of them to stick around on the 'good' side instead of going all-out with Mercury. She really had thought about it. With Cinder gone, being stuck playing the role of the goody two-shoes friendly girl was getting to be a pain. They weren't gaining anything from it besides not getting in trouble, but if Mercury was off doing his thing, they could gain something from it. She could at least keep him safe and live vicariously through his deeds.

But now, it made her decision all the more fruitful and Mercury's... well, she wasn't sure if Mercury was going to get his ass torched now or not. ]

We thought you were gone and Roman asked if we wanted to join him. I decided to stay with the kids to make sure I could give them a heads up if any trouble was coming, but Mercury agreed so he killed the Schnee girl's assistant on a live feed. We thought you were gone and we weren't sure what to do.

If you still need a place, I've got some crash spot for the moment.

Not familiar at all. I think our Dust is a little different too. Water, fire, electricity, and wind are the basic forms, combine them and you get more. Apparently some combination ended up in humans and faunus. We use our souls for things too.

[ Pidonus already admitted to her that she was the type to get into trouble as long as someone else was running the scheme. Not the type of person Emerald should be shacking up with if she's going to look like she's trying to stick to the straight and narrow after being 'betrayed.'

Demyx might not be the most morally upstanding guy, but he's enough of an incompetent derp that he'd pass as non-harmful by most peoples' standards. That meant he was in the lead for offers so far. ]

Talked it out with Mercury already. I'm sticking with the good guys to make sure they don't have anything on any of you.

Well, men are pretty stupid and these little stunts only seem to prove it more and more. Granted, I love my Roman, but he painted a large target on himself that worries me. Clearly, Mercury must of just painted one on himself, too hm?

[It's confusing, but at least she's not worried about her own reputation even after hearing that she clearly has been here before. But hey, at least Cinder notices you for once, Emerald. Please enjoy the attention while it lasts. Not that she's entirely ...pleased of Emerald's actions either. Just because she's been staying with the kids doesn't mean she shouldn't have kept a closer eye on Mercury and make sure he doesn't do anything... like that.

Mercury killing someone on a live feed, and apparently making his name and face known while he's there instead of just showing the victim. The guy has one fucking job, that's specifically been repeated to him at least twice and Cinder arrives to hear this? Cinder kind of looks like she could blow something up in a second or two, possibly Mercury's head or a whole Mercury because he is definitely not going to just get away with this.

What the hell? Even if they aren't sure what to do, that's definitely not an option. What happened to keeping their hands clean? Killing itself while they have orders to not do it is bad enough and then he goes as far as doing it on a live feed!?

...And since when has Roman had any rights to even consider asking something like that? Whatever, she'll just do whatever she wants to that part later. She kind of has this other thing in her mind right now.]

I would offer you a place, but I can see you've mentioned someone taking you in, so at least that is a positive thing. I hope that you can sleep now, even if for a little while.

Fair enough. If you need other help, lemme know, though. Safety's not an easy thing to get around here...

I'll bring my mattress. I'd feel bad if you had to sleep on the floor just because I'm afraid to go home.

In fact she would've rather been right by his side if she hadn't thought that 1. That wasn't what Cinder wanted and 2. She could've been more useful where she is now.

She's not deluded enough to think that Mercury isn't in serious trouble now though. The whole world knowing he's a murderer? Sure, whatever. Cinder being mad? ]

He didn't say he was working with Torchwick though. He's working with some girl named Eas- and you and I look like we're victims of Mercury's crimes too. We did a good job of staging an argument.
