[For those near Genessia City, you might find something that's definitely new: a small bear, about the size of a cub, is running through the alleys. A communicator is in it's mouth and a trail of destroyed property is left in it's wake.

Maybe someone should do something...]

[A few hours later, in a very different part of the City, a teenage girl starts up a video message. She stares at the camera for a few moments with a stare that seems partly angry, partly confused, and something else entirely. Her message is brief.]

Where's a hardware or military store? I need canvas, rope, and other supplies. I have money.

[She's fully unaware that most bears aren't... this small. She does catch his scent before seeing him, though. She still has the communicator in her mouth as she stands up on her hind legs.

She gives the air a few swipes with her front paws. Ginko can't sense a rifle so maybe that'll be enough.]

[Straight to the point. Setsuna can appreciate that. She keeps a map handy on her at all times so she'll pull it out and circle a spot or two on the map. Then she'll hold the spots up to the screen.]

Either of these would probably be your best bet.

[She's never been the best with words...and having so many humans around without that familiar scent made her nervous. She gives a slight nod as she leans closer to the camera to see. Her expression does seem to soften just a bit.]

One's only a few blocks away so that's not too bad. [There is one other thing--] Any rivers?

[a quick glance around-- there... doesn't seem to be a mother. visible. perhaps it's lost. so in a low voice--]

Go. This is not a place for you.

The area around the Bay is where most of the water is around here, I believe.

[Honestly, she'd be fine if the girl stayed tense, but she isn't exactly out collecting the suffering of others at the moment so it's not that big of a deal.]

[She growled, low and deep with shake of her head. There really wasn't no place in the city for her. She couldn't find that one scent...]

That's going to be tough.

[Oh, there probably will be great suffering in the area soon enough enough if she doesn't lose more tension.]

[She'll try to be there if that happens.]

Camping near areas without water is a bad idea.

Hmmm... You're right, that could be troublesome. You might be out of luck.

[She could make mention of the pond in the park, but that might not ruin this child's plan to go camping.]

It'l be tough but not impossible. [She really wanted a river to go fishing in, though. Her stare seems to intensify for a moment. Was she thinking of something important? No... just the possibility of no salmon supper. She'll check the park, of course, later.] There's houses and other buildings here. They usually have taps for hoses. I'll just need a bucket.

You may not want to announce that you're going to be stealing water from other people.

[...Kumaria damn it! She made a mistake.] That's just theoretical anyway, growl growl.

[She had to remember she was pretending to be a student.]

Growl--oh. It just comes out sometimes. Not when I'm angry or anything.

[There's a light smile at that.]

Well, I hope your camping trip goes well. Is there anything else you need to know?

It's not a camping trip, growl.

[She seems surprised at the thought.]

I thought you said it was for camp... Doesn't that imply a camping trip?
