[For anyone wondering around Everglade, you might start to notice bolts, nuts, and other spare parts in small to medium sized piles that Rikku was able to find. If you follow the piles, you'll eventually find this Al Bhed girl covered in grease and working on some sort of.... machine? She looked like she was having a few issues as she cursed under her breath.... but just what was she saying?]

[If anyone comes to bother her, she won't really notice while she's intently trying to figure out her issue with her Machina.]

Hey everyone! So it's starting to get warming again and what's a better way to kick off the summer than to have a beach party? There has to be a beach or lake here somewhere, right?

Maybe we can even play some Blitzball?

Anyone in with me?

I don't know what Blitzball is, but a beach party sounds fantastic! There's a lake in Fayren - although there are rumors of a beast called 'Nessie' out there, I don't think it'd appear around any people. From what I've heard, it avoids them.

Blizball is a sport back at home where you enter a water dome and try to get the Blitzball into the enemy's goal.

[Basically soccer underwater.]

Well, I'm sure that we could figure something out. If Nessie doesn't show up though, that would be even better.

[Rikku didn't really pay much attention to really the time or even anyone around her until she heard that familiar voice. She let out a small groan as she set down her wrench and glanced to him.]

Crid ib ymnayto. Ed'c paah y frema.

[But that's when she noticed the bags that he had.]

What's that?

[What time was it even?]

Two burgers with a side of fries and two parfaits. I was going to split it with you until you told me to shut up. Now I'm thinking about just eating it all myself.

[Food.... That's right. Lunch is a thing, isn't it? And to that her stomach will just remind her that she's actually starving and has been ignoring it.]

Oh. Well, thank you. [She shouldn't be surprised, but she actually didn't expect the gesture. Still she's sort of shooting him a look and giving a sigh to that.] Now you're just being a jerk again.

[Said jokingly as she wipes her hands off with a cloth that she had nearby.]

You are the one that we mean to me after I was nice and bought you some food. [A sigh.] I guess I will just have to get used to it since I love you and all.

Fine fine... Fair enough. I'm sorry I was rude then.

[Even if she knows that, the L word is still enough to make her cheeks turn a light pink tint. Walking over to him, she kissed him on the cheek.]

Thank you. Really. I sort of spaced out lunch to be honest.

I know how you can get. [He delivered the kiss right back to her cheek and he handed her one of the bags.]

So what has you working again? You just got bored?

[Taking the bag, she led him to a nearby table.]

Partially. I just realized that... I really haven't done anything with Machina since coming here. I sort of missed it.

A water dome..? But how would the players be able to play without...well, breathing air?

[ Although she was pretty sure Natsu would be able to play something like that. He had a lot of lung capacity. But she'd be worried for the other players. ]

That's true. Ah, though my friend would probably want to go looking for it anyway. [ Eheh. ]

Still, when are you hoping to hold it?

Oh! Oh! Beach party. I don't think there was one here last year, so it would be a nice thing to have.

Though is blitzball some kind of sport?

[She has never heard of it before now]

That's probably because you were too busy putting your hands into people's pockets. [He follows her over and sits.]

[Since he has arrived, Athrun hasn't really left Nova City. The combination of needing to settle in and being fascinated with the level of technology in Nova City had kept him plenty busy.

But today he has a day off, so he's going to check out the other parts of the realm he's in. And today, it carries him over to where Rikku was busy at work. When he sees her, he watches her for a moment, to see exactly what she's doing. He has no idea what the machine she's working on is, which means he's plenty curious about it.

As he's about to speak up, though, he hears her curse in Al Bhed and hesitates. That's a language he's never heard before. What if she doesn't understand him?

Well. Only one way to find out. He walks over and gently raps on what looks to be a solid part of the machine.]

Hey. Would you like a hand with that? I know my way around machines a fair bit.

[oh no it's her....

alright senji be brave! don't get freaked out by her clothes or nothing!]

Uh... what's Blitzball? A-and I hope the girls ain't gonna be wearing super small bikinis or nothin'!

It's...a bit complicated, but you'd be able to breath just fine. I'd have to do a little research of my own to see if we can incorporate it here, but if all else fails, we don't exactly have to have the dome itself.

I guess they can if they want. I have no idea when just yet. First I need an idea if people actually want one. If not many people do, I'll just got with a few friends or sometime.

[Except it hasn't stopped. Taking the burger out of the bag and wrapper to take a bite now.]

That's why we should change that! It would be a fun get together too.

That's right. Blitzball is a sport from back home, although we'd have to probably change it a little to work here.

[It wasn't until he'd touched the Machina in the process of being made that she really paid attention to anyone around. She glanced up to see who it was, but didn't recognize him. Oh well.

Luckily for him, she does understand him. She actually speaks fluently besides her Al Bhed. She just has the habit of going back to her native language when she's alone.]

This is a bit different from normal machines, but I wouldn't mind a little help. I haven't really worked on a Machina for a while so my skills are a bit rusty.

[Oh hey, Senji. She's still wearing her normal outfit.]

Although, we may have to make adjustments here since we might not be able to play like it normally is.

Well, I can't say if they will or not. That's up to them. It probably won't be that bad though.

I think you'll find I'm a quick study. And I have to admit, I'm curious to see what it is you have here.

[He walks over and looks at where Rikku was getting into when he showed up.]

What is it, exactly?

It's probably because the use of Machina back home and certain details to it, so I'd have to think of how to incorporate it here, but it's a fun sport.

[So come play it.]

It's a Machina -- basically a machine with a few differences -- that was called a Watcher back home. It would fly around and gather information and then report back. Some of them were enemies back home, but they can be useful too in the right hands. There was one in the Bikanel Desert back home that helped with communication and guiding, too.

Ah, so it's a scouting drone? Yeah, I can definitely see the use for it. Is there any particular reason you're fixing it, or are you just doing it for the sake of doing it?
