[David has a lot to do in the coming days, he realizes that. But all he can really do is take things one step at a time. While he already has some irons in the fire, so to speak, he still has other things that he needs to take care of. So he switches on the video feed.]

Okay, now that all of the stuff with the spirits is taken care of, I’m ready to start interviewing people. Those of you that responded to my last video posting can feel free to meet today at the Guardian’s office in Genessia city. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about, you can find my last video posting to inform yourselves about what I am doing, and if you want to meet with me to potentially join, you can show up to. Or if you just want to talk, the door is open for that too.

[The Guardians office felt so bare when he arrived, not that it really needed much anyway. He was fully aware of the real spectacle being in the basement, but still, he wanted the office to feel less barren. So he spruced things up, So he spruced things up, new curtains, carpets, a fresh coating of paint, pictures on the walls, adding in a large fish tank to give it more life, two nice sectional couches that faced each other. He still had a desk, but he wasn’t sitting there. He was sitting on the couch while waiting for his first interviewee.

Off to the side of the couches, he had a table and a bunch of snacks upon it.]

Pretty much. Those ghosts and any sort of other crisis that might hit. Or just to help take down someone that is stirring up trouble.

Is this a thing that happens with so+me frequency o+r are we just trying to+ be pro+active?

There have been varying incidents. The last big thing that happened was the power inside Nova City went out and there was rioting and stuff. But that was back in April.

Did yo+u find o+ut what caused it?

A pendant was in the power generator. We had to shut down the generator before it could be removed. But once it was out, the generator started back up just fine.

Sho+uld I assume the o+rigin o+f the pendant largely remains a mystery, o+r do+ yo+u have the who+le sto+ry and just enjo+y parceling o+ut bits o+f info+rmatio+n to+ keep a captive audience?

That's the most fun way to do it for me, isn't it? But no, I don't have the whole story. I think it has something to do with the Archway on the back of the Bay. At least I assume it does, since this thing didn't appear until a while after it did. And because there are pendant shape slots around the archway.

So+ assuming that whatever was respo+nsible fo+r the first pendant co+ntinues to+ be a thing-

- then we can expect a similar series o+f catastro+phies to+ co+incide with the appearance o+f the rest o+f the pendants.

I can see why yo+u wo+uld want to+ set up a respo+nse team.

That's what I've been assuming, though I'm hoping that isn't the case. [Just for the sake of everyone.]

But we've had incidents in Nova City and Everglade, that leaves Fayren, Genessia City and Attleton. Those are the cities that need to be watched, though whatever happens can spill over into the other cities too.

O+n the subject o+f cities, I have still no+t quite figured o+ut where I sho+uld 'settle do+wn' so+ to+ speak. I arrived in the middle o+f the gho+st debacle and haven't exactly had time to+ sho+p aro+und.

Any suggestio+ns?

I've personally lived in Nova City and Genessia City. Along with Attleton, they are the more technologically advanced cities, with Nova City having the highest level of technology. Fayren and Everglade are lowtech and are more magical sort of based.

So I suggest Nova City or Genessia City.

[Levy decides it's best to get up and out after everything that has happened so after seeing David's video she begins walking towards the office. She knows where most things are now but she gets turned around once anyway.

She steps in knocking lightly on the door.]

Hello?

[She doesn't know if she can just walk in but seeing him on the couch makes it seem like it's okay.]

Its good to see that you're okay. [It has been a little crazy since Levy first woke up here.]

[He looks up to her when she speaks, and gives her a wave, motioning for her to come over to the couch.]

Hey, Levy. I'm glad to see you're okay after everything too. [The spirit stuff was seriously crazy.]

[It's been twice now that Athrun has spoken to David, but not once has it been in person. He's due, at this point, or so he believes.

Athrun arrives on the hour. There's a few sharp knocks on the doorframe.]

The door burst open, revealing yours truly. He took a look around the office, admiring its swank. "Of course, you would get the nicer abode." Getting a break from the ambient gloom of Everglade was at least half the reason Ted came, though the snacks were a close second. He never knew how to handle that. It's true that it's rude to eat and talk, but they were so tempting. He'd have to pocket some for after, he supposed.

He inquired after David's welfare, though only out of politeness. To him, David never seem very stirred, a trait Ted admired enough to lean upon before.

I know you are having your interviews but I wanted to know if I could also ask you a question.

[She wants to help but she feels like she's being pulled in many directions and after the trails she's a little unsure of things that she can't even explain properly. It's better to just focus on what she knows.]

David came out of the Everglade incident unscathed. He was bothered by it all as a whole, though. But all in all, he was perfectly fine. The snacks were there for all to enjoy, so Ted was free to help himself.

"Thank you. I had to add some stuff to it to make it feel less barren, but I figure if I am going to be here a lot, I should at least make it comfortable."

[The doorknob turns and it opens for him, though no one is standing at the door. David is instead still sitting upon the couch.]

Come in.

I mentioned that anyone could show up to just talk if they wanted to, so you are fine. [He wanted to speak to her about some things anyway.]

[Levy smiles, it's always been easy to talk to David even if its only been a few times.]

[She walks over to the couch and takes a seat making herself as comfortable as she could in someone else's office.]

Do you know Ted by chance?

Yes, I know him. We became acquainted sometime before the Election Debates.

[Her head tilts slightly to the side as she watches David's expression.]

What do you think of him?

A nice guy from what I've seen. Has a bit of a confidence issue, but appears to want to do good.

Why?

Oh, it is time? I'll be there as soon as I can.

[She has to navigate all the way from Attleton, so when she reaches the Guardian's office, she knocks on the door lightly.]
