Mayu's birthday is coming up on August 8th. We should throw him a party. It would be a good distraction after what's happened, and it would show him we ~~care about him a lot~~ didn't forget his birthday.

So I guess if you have any ideas, I'm listening. Also need to get an idea of how many people will be there.

Mr Mayus birthday is coming ? i would like to get him something .. ... he teachesme judo but ive not been able to go as much as normal lately . may i help plan the p arty,please? And maybe come. but help plan too!!

Sometime probably in the evening. That way Mayu can sleep until 4 if he wants and we can have the party. And then he can sleep again.

[Luke really isn't very good with technology, and it's rather amazing he can run a tea shop--everything's done on paper, which is really how he manages it. Even still when the video feed turns on, at first all that's visible is a bit of light blue fabric. Luke tilts the phone quickly and about ten seconds later, Mikoshiba will be met with a very small looking boy who can't be more than fourteen, blinking at the camera.]

Hi. I'm Luke. I think Mr. Mayu brought you to my tea shop once, but we didn't really talk a lot. He seems a lot happier now that he has friends from home here!

Mikoshiba blinks. He blinks for what feels like a few minutes, trying to form a sentence, some sort of sentence, before he exhales and seems to relax. Vaguely, he remembered Luke now, but he hadn't been paying much attention. This made a lot more sense!]

I guess we didn't introduce ourselves before... I'm Mikoto Mikoshiba. I hope you can make it to the party. Did you have any ideas in mind for planning?

make sure mayu has a good birthday... i will have to make something/cook something for him later... haven't spoken to him since...

I'm sorry, Mr. Mikoshiba. You and Mr. Mayu came to the shop, but you were talking so I didn't want to interrupt you.

[Rest assured as well Mikoshiba that in person Luke will be intimidated by the fact that you are twice his size. Literally.]

...hm. I think his party needs to be little and quiet. Miss Weiss has had some big parties, but I'm not sure Mr. Mayu would like that.

.....um. I think he might really just want a nap, but that's not how your friends help you celebrate your birthday!

[Yeah that's been obvious because he lives there. Someone needs to get them to start talking to eachother again if they're ever going to stop hurting over what happened.]

A nap...we can include pillows in case he decides to sleep on the stairs or counter.

Maybe we can take a mat from the gym. Those are soft enough to sleep on.

That's a good idea. We'll need about ten.

Snacks...should probably be easy, since he doesn't like to exert effort, but we can get stuff he likes.

I know he likes judo and besides that, resting, lying down and anything that requires minimal effort.

[Weeps because those are just synonyms for sleeping. Other than judo but he hasn't seen him practice it yet so maybe that doesn't require any effort for Mayu either.]

Hm... What about a Judo themed sleepover then?

With prepeeled cupcakes so he doesn't have to do anything to eat them. After that everyone can just sleep on the floor together, so you'll have to set the sleeping bags up ahead of time... Maybe put a Judo movie on and everyone can watch, then sleep...?
