Closest Love to Heaven: Volume 2 has been released to the public!!! Thanks for much for everyone's support in getting this manga off the ground! ♥

The price for the manga is ¥1200 with three chapters in between. This manga has a rating of "PG" - "PG-13" as of the second volume. There is some violence that has come up due to the plot. There is no death or anything like that involved though.

"Synopsis from Volume One:
Momoka is a popular girl who has many friends because of her beautiful looks, kind heart, and her care for animals. Masuru is a quiet outcast who's seen as the "bad boy" of his school that many people avoid. One day, Momoka finds Masuru interesting and decides to become his friend. It will take a lot more than kindness to make this boy open up to a stranger. Just what is the secret Masuru is hiding?"

'Who are the new people falling to the Earth right before our eyes?' Momoka and Masuru find out what's really going on with their world. Masuru seems more tentative to help these people and it begins to put a strain on their relationship. Several of them know his name and want to speak to him, which worries Momoka more. When Masuru finally confesses his feelings...will Momoka be willing to give him a chance? Even if she doesn't know all about his past?"

[ okay! so, a few things. it turns out that there are like angels that are being sent down from heaven to this ONE PARTICULAR place and they DON'T KNOW WHY. it's about like fifty people by now that are just winged angels just standing around like wtf. they all know who Masuru is and Momoka is like wtf is going on.

so there's a confrontation with Masuru and one of the angels (without the mole on her face). Momoka says that she wants to help her, but she doesn't want any help. her name is Loi and she's trying to keep tabs on someone that she was watching from heaven; Yuki. he wears a heart necklace to remind him of his home. he's a very sweet guy and even is seen crying sometimes with talking with Momoka when she talks about wanting to be with Masuru. she's found looking like this most of the time since she seems to be one of the only angels that can hide her wings.

there's a very pretty illustration of the girl with some very good coloring that's included inside the mangas (like poster size).

at the tale end of the chapter, Masuru finally kisses Momoka. it's like, the happiest day of her life but she's so stunned because her best friend is standing RIGHT THERE. and he looks pretty shocked! remember seeing that guy from the front of the manga? it's her friend Chikako and yes, he does have a female name. he's seen blushing and then running off with tears in his eyes when he sees them. he talks earlier in the manga about how he loves someone so much but doesn't have the courage to say anything so Momoka tries to help him.

there's a bonus chapter about a random couple in the school: meet Yuuri (no tattoos, obv) and Masayuka. Yuuri is a little bit of a ladies man but he's so dumb and dense about it. it makes Masayuka mad who just wants to study and get out of this school. it's not known why she cuts her hair off but she's very short and gets annoyed easily that Yuuri is so dumb. but they've been friends for a while and Masayuka talks (to herself) about how she should tell her feelings to him.

and if you needed clarification: Masuru=Mayu, Momoka=Mikoshiba, Loi=Loki, Yuki=Yui, Chikako=Chiyo, Yuuri=Kashima Yuu, and Masayuka=Masayuki Hori. enjoy reading all of that and i am so sorry for this tldr bit but he is trying to BRING COUPLES TOGETHER OK??

and yes, i do realize that none of the images now look like Nozaki's work. JUST PRETEND?? OKAY? ]

[A few minutes later:]

Nozaki. Stop setting Mayu up with another person in your manga.

[It might be fiction but it makes him self-conscious he might cry okay!!!.]

Sort of. I was going to delay telling the secret behind the name but it's obvious by now. I needed to introduce more characters.

...Momoka is based on you. Stop denying it.

Where'd you get the inspiration for Loi and Yuki? Do you even know anyone similar to them?

[He has a ~~strong~~ feeling it's Loki and Yui but he isn't sure how well Nozaki knows them.]

I thought about going with Gods and Goddess but that would be too obvious. I met the real couple at our housewarming party.

It wasn't actually Mayu. It was a character inspired by Mayu.

[ Chiyo hasn't replied to Nozaki's group text yet- a real miracle and freak incident, actually. ...Actually, she hasn't been anywhere around him in the past two hours or so.

Uh, that's because she's been in the bathroom for a while now, coaching herself in the mirror. This time-- this time she'll make a proper confession! She just has to get it absolutely perfect! ]

T-the truth is... I like you as more than just a manga artist... Nozaki-kun, I love you!! [ y u p thats how this is going]

[ ...this was unlike Chiyo. he had actually been WAITING to hear from her about how excited she was to have it finally out. she had helped with some of the beta here and there. his Treecko had actually been helping a lot with what others couldn't keep up with due to jobs. i mean responsibilities man.

was Chiyo even home? he got to thinking and then got up from where he had been sitting on the couch.

was she sick? he went to her room, knocking on the door gently ] Sakura?

[ no answer but he does hear an echo from the bathroom where Sakura is. he's only able to hear the very end of it. but LOVE?! oh man this is it! this is what he's been waiting for! now he can introduce the other character for Nozaki's manga who is the other love interest.

quietly and carefully, he's standing against the wall with his ear to it and a pen and pad in his hand. any minute now, she'll probably do it again ]

[Lucky(?) for Nozaki, Chiyo hasn't realized Nozaki's still home- or that he's outside the bathroom door. She stares back at her flushed face in the mirror, before letting out a loud, exasperated sigh.]

N-no, that's too blunt-- but if I'm not blunt enough, he'll never know. Why?? [she shakes her head at herself.] No! Nozaki-kun's worth it! I'll try again- go Chiyo, go!

~~I ship it.~~ I'm just trying to help. You guys are still my favorite, if you're jealous.

It does sometimes, especially if I take situations that the both of you are in. But they are two completely different people. For example: Masuru is a night owl, Mayu won't stay up past 9pm most nights. Masuru likes fish the most, Mayu doesn't like fish. He really doesn't like any seafood unless it's cooked and he doesn't have to do anything with it. He likes bread and easy things to eat in between naps. But Masuru doesn't like fighting or even anything with any kind of violence involved. Mayu like judo, which I think everyone pretty much knows.

[ oooh what is he worth? please tell him more.

she must be about to confess who she loves to him!! so cute! he scribbles down that he's going to get the info. i mean, he is important so he's glad that she is telling him...just not the way that she probably wants ]

[ O-okay! She'll try again! Having recovered from her first attempt, in the safe and sound security of her bathroom with no one else home ~~or so she thinks~~, Chiyo tries again. She takes a deep breath, then begins, speaking clearly to her reflection with newfound determination! ]

The truth is- I've always liked you, since the day we first met, outside of school! A-and when I tried to confess to you the first time-- you misunderstood, but I'm really so glad that you did! Because of that, because you misread my feelings-- we've had lots of fun days since then. I've gotten to spend so much time with you, and it's filled my heart with so much joy! I've made lots of new friends, and experienced so many new things working alongside you... I can't help but be a little glad that you misinterpreted how I felt for you.

he listens to her pour her heart out, getting a little teary-eyed because omg it's so sweet and then wtf why haven't i ever been told this? it kinda hurts his feelings for a second. whoever has Chiyo's heart...they're lucky. she's such a nice girl and she's a good friend. she would...probably do anything for them. anything.

oh no he might lose an assistant!! NO THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING. HE CAN'T LET THIS CONTINUE and he reaches out to push open the door just to hear the end of what she's saying.

he was going to apologize for barging in on her and he looked determined to tell her something. but once he hears her say those last words, he kind of freezes. his bROTHER?! ...wait, she calls HIM Nozaki-kun and calls Mayu by his first name. there's no other Nozaki's here and...

that must mean...

it's him.

he stares at her, his cheeks becoming bright red from her confession. he can't look at her and looks down at her shoes. he...can't make himself leave though ]

[ The door opens, and Chiyo freezes up immediately. She's ready to yell at Mikorin for not knocking, to slink past Mayu-kun and into the hall like the entire thing never happened, or to frantically explain to Hori-senpai or Kashima what exactly she was doing and no, she does not want to be an actress, that was her pouring out her heart--

But it's none of those people. Her heart feels as if it's dropped straight through her, as she stares at Nozaki in the doorway. He won't even look at her.

No, no! This isn't how this was supposed to go, not at all! She wanted to tell him face-to-face, once she'd perfected everything. Now it's all been ruined!

She can't say anything, but she feels the heat rise up to her face, and the tears start to well in her eyes. ]

[ he feels...kind of like a dick. all those times everyone was hinting to him and he ignored it. and now he actually was told indirectly by her. about her feelings. how long had she felt this way? since they first met? oh my god. that's a really long time. she's had to just sit back and harbor all of these feelings for him while he just USED her for manga because he thought she wanted to help!

but what about his? he had the same kind of feelings for her. it was obvious just how important she was to him. and he knew it but couldn't figure out his feelings. dumb boy problems.

he stood there for a second. still stunned. then out of no where, he began to choke up. bringing the end of his shirt sleeve up to wipe at his eyes ] I'm sorry, Sakura. [ sniffle ] You probably even don't like manga...and I'm sorry for making you help me. I thought that's what you wanted.

Why didn't you tell me sooner?

[ Chiyo's just plain humiliated, right now. She chokes on a sob at first instead of replying, then frantically rubs at her eyes with her arm to try and hide the tears that he's already seen. ]

I tried! [ She did! She tried so many times, and it never got through-- she had never stopped trying, and it never failed to go unnoticed. And here she had been, preparing to try again-- Why now?! ] I really did.... I really did like helping you with your manga! [ She lets out a soft little sob again, tears dribbling down past her arm. ]

[ he's just... ugh. he's so stupid. Chiyo really was a pure hearted maiden that was in love with someone. just like his Mamiko!

oh no. no no no no! now he made her cry!!! he started to fret, holding back his own tears to try to calm her down.

reaching out, he put his arms around her waist and picked her up in a hug. it was the only thing he could think of to do right now.

the echoing in the bathroom probably didn't help either... after a few seconds, he started to head to his room. going into the room and closing the door behind them. his heart had been pounding the whole time and he felt a little uncomfortable. but if she wanted to hug him, she could for as long as she wanted ] You didn't...let me give you my answer. [ WHAT ANSWER SHE DIDN'T ASK YOU ANYTHING DUMMY ]

[ She's still crying when he scoops her up into a hug, but she hugs him tightly back, burying her face against him. She's getting his shirt all wet, and she hates herself a little for inconveniencing him like that-- but by the time he carries her into his room, she's calmed down a little.

She doesn't let go until he speaks-- then she lifts her head up, and lets go. ] W-what is it? [ She didn't ask him anything-- oh god, what if he hates her? What if he sends her away? She doesn't know what she'll do then... ]

I... I think... [ well. way to make her pretty much have a heartattack right here. STOP IT NOZAKI ]

I think I love you too, Sakura. [ he thinks?! lets not worry about that though. of course he would say that since he doesn't know FOR SURE.

he hugs her tight though. please don't cry, you make him sad too ]

[ Aaannnd she's crying again- but this time it's a happy cry, and she's smiling through her tears.]

N-Nozaki-kun!

--Don't cry more! [ and he'll just hold her tight again, not really sure how to calm her down ]

[ She hugs him back, squeezing him tightly. ]

I can't, I'm too happy!
