09 ❄ Video (Locked from Gilgamesh)

[Well that was certainly odd. Last thing he could recall was taking his last breathe when he defended himself and Sakura. However he remembered he had to give something up, but as to what he gave up he hadn't a clue. He had completely forgotten. But he knew the situation and he knew he had to do something. But first as he looked down at his clothes, he realized that he would need to get changed first.

So after about an hour since he woke up he finally holds the device firmly in his hands as he switches on. For those who paid attention to Sakura's post might have known something about the situation and the fact Fai shouldn't even be here right now. But here he is with a solemn look on his face. He was worried about Sakura and had little to no idea about what happened to her. All he knew was she wasn't in the apartment, so maybe she was with someone else?]

Hi... I don't know if Sakura-chan has managed to get out or not. I'm not even sure if people actually know what is going on, but... If she did manage to get something across then I won't have to explain that. However... I will need help.

[He sighs slightly, he doesn't even know what is going on himself, there hasn't been word but never the less...]

[A young boy in a red and white toga, shoulderpads and with a green gem necklace and a gold bangle on his arm comes onto the screen. He looked concerned, but at the same time serious.]

I want to help. A friend of mine at the Children's Home is really concerned about Sakura-san, and I want to help rescue her.

Are you...the person this guy killed? If so, thank goodness you're alright.

[Mamoru's green eyes then quickly turned from concern to seriousness.]

I can't forgive this Gilgamesh for what he's done. I know my powers might not be enough to stop him, but in the name of those I must protect, for the sake of this place, and the sake of the Oath Sworn Through Courage, I can't just do nothing. I have to try to do something.

[So Sakura had sent something, and from what this person said it wasn't good and she didn't manage to get out. That was never good. It meant he had to try and find a way to get her out while keeping hidden.]

I am, yes... I didn't know she had been taken though. [That meant that he really needed to get the help.]

Thank you for the offer for help, but right now... I don't even know what we can do. I will just need to know who is willing at the moment.

I am prepared to fight. I know I might just be a little boy, but... I am special, and well, I have to use my powers to protect others for the sake of courage.

[Mamoru decided to give a demonstration, his hair standing up as all of him shined a bright light green, as he now had a pair of white translucent fairy-like wings as he floated a bit as a chiming sound could be heard.]

Even though I'm not sure who else can help, or if I'll die if I try to fight him. I can't just do nothing and hide, I won't let anyone else be harmed by him.

Fai!

[Her voice is more hushed than before, not wanting to have her captor know who she's talking to. Tears stream down her cheeks as she looks at him as if she's seeing a ghost.]

You're okay.. how? I... [She's so happy to see him though the sting of regret continues to knot in her stomach.]

[A young preteen with red hair and sharp eyes appears on the video feed, her expression far more serious than one might expect from someone her age.]

She explained some. Are you Fai?

[Sakura. He recognizes the name. Best to hear what he has to say, then.]

I want to help. Just tell me what I have to do and I'll do it.

David Haller, Guardian of Genessia City. Brief me on the situation and on the man that killed you.

I think a lot of people say they're special.

[He doesn't simply pass it off, but as long as one can defend themselves he's okay with it. Helped that he did work as a god and had to fight if that came up.]

Right now we just need to get Sakura out, no one else will be getting hurt hopefully. However I have no idea what he might have planned so we would need to strike fast.

[Well he was at least a little happy that she was somewhat okay, but he knew what had happened anyway. His voice was lowered at least.]

I can't exactly explain how I'm not dead, but all that matters is I am alive and planning on getting you out.

I am. Unless coming back also meant I have to change my name. But she has contacted me and now I just need to make plans to get her back out somehow. If she is where I think she is, it might be easier said than done.

Right now, I can't really say. I need to figure out if she is where I think she is. If she isn't, then need to find her.

Well his name is Gilgamesh, he doesn't really ask questions before firing weapons at someone, which comes fast and in multiples. He also seemed to be wearing some armour that made me magic do nothing to him. That is all I got right now off the top of my head though.

What do you plan to do? And tell me more about the feather.

[Sakura feels a smile pull across her features even as tears continue down her cheeks.]

I'm just so happy that you are okay...

[She pushes her palm against her cheek trying to stop the tears. She looks tired and the bars behind her do nothing to suggest where she might be hidden.]

Well I just came back to life not long ago, so I have no plan. I don't even know what he is planning or when, which is the worrying part.

But you aren't, from what I've heard. I need to get you out.

[He wanted to smile and try and make it seem like it ws okay. He didn't want her to cry after all.]

Don't cry Sakura-chan, we are going to get you out.

[Zelos had been keeping to himself since Fai had been killed. He had promised to get Sakura out, and he knew he had to take care of the cafe whilst he was gone...but since Sakura's message, he'd come home and stayed curled up in a pile of blankets on his bed, barely able to will himself to move.

Hearing that voice over the communicator, though, that was enough to jolt him to his senses. He grabbed the videophone, staring with wide eyes as he saw his message.

He was okay? But...how?

He didn't want Fai to see the state he was in, so for now, he just sent him a hurried message: ]

[He was kind of worried about Sakura that he had kind of forgotten about people he knew around here to ask them for help. When he saw the message, he couldn't help but sigh with relief before replying back.]

Currently at my apartment, but I'm just here to grab a few things before heading off again.

I was created to protect life. So I have to face him.

[Mamoru glanced down at the green gem necklace as the gem seemed to glow softly.]

The G-Stone is speaking to me, guiding me to confront him. I only fight if it's neccecary, but... based on what I've heard, I don't think I could reason with him.

So I'll fight. For the sake of Sakura-san and so Anastasia-chan can see her again. And for the sake of courage and protecting everyone here.

At the very least, I can keep him busy while you and the others get Sakura-san to safety!

[Of course, that wasn't really what he was trying to say at all. He just couldn't admit how much it hurt, how he could barely stop himself shaking when he heard what had happened, the dread that he'd lost Fai for good...

He'd never say it. It was just easier to argue that Sakura had been hurt, so he didn't have to admit anything.]

[She nods and then begins to wipe her tears away. She wants to be strong.]

I know you will. Yuuko and Clow said they were coming to find me too.

I have some idea now, yes. However before, no I did not being dead and all.

[He was saying that in a serious way, but it didn't come across as such. Maybe he was trying to keep positive in such a situation so not to let his emotions get the better of him. He wanted to save her, but he knew what he was up again and he didn't know how to deal with it.]

[That...definitely hit a raw nerve, and he found himself trembling all over again. Right now, he wanted nothing more than to grab hold of the guy's shoulders and yell at him about this whole mess, but he could hardly work out how to reply.

Instead, his emotions all just seem to fall out as he shot one quick reply: ]

[As soon as he sent it, he regretted it, of course. He always did deal with these situations badly, and he never failed to make them worse.

He didn't want to dwell on it, instead heading as quickly as he could towards Fai's apartment. Speed felt more important now than it had even when the spirits were attacking, and so, for once, he chose to fly.

Holy magic swirled across his body as fragmented orange wings burst from his back, and he flew up as fast as he could to avoid being spotted.

Not long later and he landed on Fai's doorstep, the wings beating gently behind him as he knocked furiously on the door. He knew he still looked a mess - his hair was tangled, eyes red from tears - but right now he didn't care.

Please let him still be here.]

[Thankfully Fai was still in her apartment thanks to one pokemon refusing to let go. However as the pokemon was taken off his arm he started to pick up the last few things he needed, putting them into a bag as he picked them up before heading to the door. Just as he reached for the handle he could hear the knocking as he opened the door looking to see who was there and wasn't surprised to see who it was. However he was surprised to see the state he was in. That was certainly something new.]

Zelos-kun... Are you okay?

[Was probably not the best question to ask considering, but he didn't know what else to say.]

Also, I should ask you to come in, though I was just about to head off.

I don't think it works like that, unless you want to go into hiding.

[Dairine isn't terribly fazed by him coming back from the dead. People rarely stayed dead back in Paradisa.]

Where do you think she is?
