[Log] | WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS, OH WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS?
WHO: God, Skeletor [closed]
WHAT: Therapy, unionising talk, Skeletor wishing for hair just so he could tear it out.
WHEN: 7/2/14, pm
WHERE: Well, she's in a cage over lava.
NOTES: Pure, unadulterated Skeletor trolling. This is what you get when you mess with her subcity.
She's been here in this cage above this lava for a few days now, and she's been slowly driving her captor mad and she knows it. Now, Skeletor's left her alone with a guard, but naturally, she's not going to just leave it at that. Today, she decides to up the game, gently mentally prodding her guard until she gets a response.
Hey. Hey. Hey. Hey. Over and over until she gets the desired response. And slowly, but surely, she pulls him into conversation.
Not long after she's got his attention, She's filled the poor, easily manipulated creature's head with talks of mutton and sleep days and healed injuries and rights. Naturally, the idea of mutton spreads like wildfire. Food. She'd actually had to keep using that, she's pretty sure the other ideas haven't stuck. However, it's enough. Especially when she hears him finally come back to the lair, and sends them up to meet him after going over the basics once again.
So, he's greeted by a line of little glaring goblins. One of them even has a little wooden sign with a crudely drawn sheep, no handle, just a plank of wood held above it's head. It looks like a child's drawing of a cloud with a black smudge of ash for a head. Not even legs. Clearly, it's been hastily done.
He'll be able to hear her clearly from above, God making sure he knows it was her by letting him hear her prompt:
What do you want?
The returning cry is.... mostly synchronised.
"MORE MUTTON!"
When do you want it?
This time, they're a little more in synch.
"MORE MUTTON!"
In her cage, she's just going to shrug. Close enough.

Skeletor stood for a long moment when he returned to the facsimile of Snake Mountain, staring in disbelief at the assembled goblins before him. A protest? How DARE they?!
"Beastman." Red eyes burned in his skull, but his voice was calm as he called over the Evil Warrior he had left in charge of the soldiers in the mountain. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Uh, I dunno." The furry Warrior replied, hesitantly. It was never a good sign when the boss wasn't shouting. "When you were gone they just got together and started yellin' about mutt-- Grff!!"
Apparently, Skeletor was no longer in the mood for explanations. Beastman took the blast from the Havoc Staff square in the chest and was hurled across the chamber with enough force that his impact against the wall jarred a good number of stones and dust loose to rain down on him.
Slightly mollified, the light faded out from his eyes and he turned his attention to the goblin protestors thoughtfully. Finally, he simply snapped his fingers and there was a loud snarl from the shadows and protest chants and shouts were quickly replaced by shrieks of terror as Panthor dove from the darkness and into the assembly.
Not that Skeletor paid it any mind, silently walking from the entrance hall and down to the cell where his captor was still swinging over the largest lava pit in the place.
"You've been keeping busy, I see."
He was almost beginning to think that keeping the Guardian was more trouble than it was worth. Almost.

She grins at him. I have to do something with my day. It's so boring when you're not around. The least you could do is leave me with a book or something.
Anybody who could have heard her might think she was talking to a spouse who worked all day. Not least because she's keeping her focus on annoying him to death (Or, you know, to leaving her and her subcity alone) because that had been so much more effective than the initial threats when she got here. So, so much more effective.
You know, you're out all day, you come back at unsociable hours. You make me wait around. And you never tell me that I'm pretty. That hurts my feelings, you know.
there's a pause. Has she finished? No, of course not.
But it's okay. Because we're friends. And I forgive you. With a smirk.
Now she's finished.

... Except, no, all he got when he returned to her cell was more of that inane chatter of hers!
Red light burned in his eyes and his anger boiled up nearly to the point of exploding, but then he forced it back down and laughed instead.
"You think you're clever, don't you? You think that by making me lose my temper I'll attempt to attack you and wind up breaking the magic around that cage." Another laugh and his bony grin somehow seemed to get even wider. "Well, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you, you're going to be here for quite some time. In fact... I've even chosen a special new guard for you."
The dark lord stepped aside and immediately the air in the chamber was filled with the foulest stench ever known. A stink so awful it outdoes every other stink that ever stank. Even Skeletor had to raise an arm to cover his nose as the guard walked in. A tall creature covered in white and black fur and wearing some sort of heavy-duty breathing apparatus.
"I am Stinkor!" The newcomer proudly declared. "And I have the power of stink!"
"Yes, you certainly do, Stinkor." Skeletor patted the creature on the shoulder before making a hasty retreat to the door. "Now do be sure to keep our guest well-occupied."
He cackled as he walked out, leaving God alone with the malignant odor and its source.

There is a small part that wonders if she'd be able to sustain this, however. It's not even something that uses magic. Her breathing is more of an unconscious habit while in human shape, which.... well, she's not testing if she has access to 'waves of celestial intent' shape here. Not that she doesn't wonder.
But it means that after her momentary lapse, she just waves and grins. Hi there.
It appears to still be permeating her olfactory senses even with her breath held. oh. well. At least, it's not more than she can cope with anymore. For now. Later might be a different story.
That seemed pretty rude of him. She shakes her head dramatically. And very carefully not sighing. There's just no teaching some people. I'm trying, though. I'll get him there. Possibly. What do you think?

"Teach Skeletor? Nobody can teach Skeletor!" He points a finger at God's cage, stinkily. "Skeletor will rule the whole world someday, and Stinkor will help!"

The response has her rolling her eyes. Of course he is. And of course you will. you and all his other helpers. All of you get your own little cut, I assume? ...Actually, she had been curious about why they stuck around and helped him. It's not like he gave them anything good from what she could see. And several of them seemed able enough that they shouldn't be tyrannized by him.
