When I decided to use the Dream Docks, I thought I was only going to be there for a week. I didn't expect it to last over a month. But the city's still standing, so I guess I didn't miss much.

[Mikasa was busy making her rounds while thinking of ways to help David out with his campaign. She was the one who nominated him again, after all. So thankfully she wasn't too far away, but she instantly froze hearing that voice. Was that...? It couldn't be....]

[Looking to her comm. immediately, it really was him. He was.... He came back...? She spent so long hoping he'd come back... So long thinking that it would be like Eren's disappearance... That he'd never come back... And who's to say he'd remember what happened here. But he was back and with all of the memories he left off with.]

[And she's off without a second thought. Luckily she doesn't need her gas for anything important per se, because now she's blowing through it quickly to reach him.]

[--No, she's just hugging him. And sobbing. The flurry of elation at being able to hold Mikasa again, after being stuck in the Dream Docks and everything, is extinguished with a leaden sense of guilt. He still hugs her back though. He's a selfish bastard like that.]

Those emotions bubbling back up to the surface. After just... trying to go back to not feeling anything after he left, it was hard not to with him here now. She clinged onto him tightly. Clearly she was lonely.]
