[Action for Castlevania]
It was a normal night for the most part, until something... changed in the air. It was soft at first, like a whisper. However, it wasn't long before a song could be heard. As the song progressed it increased in volume and intensity, echoing through the halls from the throne of the castle. The very walls reverberated with the intensity of the song, penetrating down even to the depths of the catacombs as the lord of the castle played on a piano he had moved into the throne room recently.
As the song spread throughout the castle, the minions of Castlevania slowed their daily menial tasks to a slow, eventually stopping, eyes turning to stare in the direction of the throne. As the song finally came to an end, the minions that had weapons drew them, while the more feral creatures bore their fangs and flexed their claws. There were no words, but the message was clear even to those that did not share the same soul bond to Dracula. Castlevania was going to war.
For those that came to the throne room, they would see Dracula and a handful of his minions. A Persephone with a quill and parchment composing what looked to be some sort of address, and a selection of minions from across the castle bearing weapons and armor as Dracula considered what he would be taking into battle in the near future. The grand piano he had used to rally his minions could be seen shoved off to the side of the room, with what appeared to be a picture frame near by covered by a cloth. However one of the minions must have brushed against the cloth in the commotion, leaving it half exposed. What was visible showed the portrait of an elegant woman and a small boy. While the woman in the portrait seemed normal enough, the boy had pale almost deathlike skin...

[Action/Illusion?]
It took only a few seconds for the faintest traces of dust in Dracula's throne room to gather within a momentary swirl before settling into the outline of a doll-like face. The outline wouldn't move but a disembodied voice would emanate from the grey mask.
"It feels like you've gone to war."
[Action]
"Your feeling would be correct. Soon, I will be marching to war with my castle by my side."
Action
"You have a plan, then, I presume," the Succubus said with a chuckle.
[Action]
Although she never entered. The little vampire kept to the door, peeking in curiously with her wings tightly folded against her back. It was interesting yet slightly frightening because she had no idea what was about to happen.]
[Action]
It was fortunate she had been in good health lately.
[Action]
She soon, however, felt the tension started to build in the air. As the song came to a close, the Goddess swept into the Throne Room.
"Lord Tepes?" she asked, calmly, waiting to see what he had in mind.
Re: [Action]
The mask slowly shifted into slight frown. She was making her way towards the throne room of course and had no intention of spending the energy to create a fully fleshed illusion of herself when she'd be arriving momentarily. Or tipping her hand at how powerful she was becoming. Not until he started calling her lady instead of dear... Yes, it was petty, but she had never called him 'lad' or 'squirt' so the insult was one-sided.
"Well, perhaps it's about time I took an interest then. It's been a few months since I haven't been at war... How long before the first move is made?"
[Action]
He sheathes the sword at his side, as an armored knight hands him a spear. "Are you not curious as to why we're marching?"
Action
"Within the week, we will be marching on the Mayor's office to 'liberate' him."
[Action]
You need not be so shy, Miss Scarlet. This castle is your home just as much mine. So long as you respect the personal chambers of the residents, you have free reign over the castle.
[Action]
[Action]
He waved off the minions and the arms they brought for inspection, taking a seat in his throne. "I would ask your assistance in something."

Once Patchouli has been made comfortable, a werewolf holding a rolled up map of Everglade with several lines leading from Castlevania's gate to the mayor's office approached and handed over the map. The lines branched off soon after leaving Castlevania, and converged on the office from various sides so as to surround it.
"Where do you think you and your mistresses would be the most effective? I intend to capture the Mayor of Everglade and set this farce that the Guardians have instituted to rest."
no subject
"Hmm... Let's see." She studies the map intensely, weighing all the pros and cons of each route. Ah? There is a forested area which one path passes through, and a lack of streams to get in the way. "This path may be idea for a small force to use..."

Re: [Action]
"Of course I'm curious, information is a weapon that I love to have. And as you seem to be welcoming assistance this time I'm giving you the opportunity to tell me what you had in mind for the next two weeks and what kind of end result you are working towards."
[Action]
"I have ascertained what Everglade requires to be safe from those beyond the barrier." He grins some as he leans his head on one fist, looking quite amused. "Fear feeds the barrier. And so in making things safer for all, Theodore damned us all. Rather ironic, isn't it? That the only reason the people can keep their lives, is for fear of losing them?"

He takes a glass of wine from the maid and sips on it. "If there is any opposition, I want them crushed without hesitation. Will you be up for such a trek?"
Re: Action

"Since you were gracious enough to allow us to stay, lending my aid seems fair."
Re: [Action]
Bridget will shrug slightly with a wave of one hand and turn to consider the man on the throne with a raised eyebrow. "Each of the four subgates has a certain theme. A future without magic, the past with magic, normalcy, supernatural... I wonder if this place is not seeking which is better. Future or past, magic or technology... Even a sort of balance between the two with and without magic. Genessia is simply a neutral middle ground." She'll move around to the half-covered painting for a suddenly solemn examination. After a few moments, she'll give the woman a slight bow. Not for her possible station but for the ability of the artist to convey the kindness in her eyes.
"Thus..." She'll straighten and smile with a mix of cold calculation and a little playfulness. Oddly enough, Bridget doesn't extend any show of respect towards Dracula. A very telling clue towards her past and where she finds value. "I am of the opinion that the suppression of magic is the key to this dimension's barrier failing. But before we start a discussion on this, I will draw attention back to your original offer. I will not be able to support a course of action made simply to create fear no matter what the motives are."
[Action]
I...I know but...I'm not good with others.
[Which is true and why she tended to hide away instead of exploring more often then not. Although now she was curious.]
What is going on? There is a lot of people here.
[Action]
"Then perhaps your time in Castlevania has come to a close. Fear is a binding force of reality, both in this place and without. If they forget to fear, humans turn on themselves and the world. If nothing else, Castlevania serves as a balance to that destructive nature, keeping humanity in line, reminding them of their place. They are beneath us, and deserve no better than to live their miserable lives in fear. And if that is what this place requires to function, I am more than happy to give it to them. If that bothers you, you are free to leave."

[Action]
[He keeps his attention on inspecting the gear his minions presented, making small gestures when weapons or armor needed repairing, and the minions carrying the gear would scurry off, allowing more to file in.]
We march to war within the week. I intend to take the Mayor's office. I would appreciate it if you and your sister accompanied me.

"You and Miss Izayoi are special cases in Castlevania. You do not serve me. Your allegiance belongs to the Scarlet sisters and I have no intention of driving a wedge between you. I would appreciate you standing with me, but should Miss Remilia decline to participate, that is more than fine as well."
Re: Action
Pidonus knows better than to piss off Dracula.
[Action]
[Flandre's going to believe that for now. Back home she just hid away instead of trying to talk so..yeah. Plus everyone older then her knew better...right?]
..If Remi goes I will go for sure. Unless she doesn't want to and says it's okay. But if we do..what would we be doing? I..I don't like to fight.
Re: [Action]
"Of course humans need to fear something. The dark, the unknown, failure, death, themselves... But at the same time they are capable of so much hope, wonder, compassion, humility, and reproduction in spite of how weak and fragile they are as individuals. If I wished to do so I could have had all five cities under my thumb ages ago but as I said, I lack interest in driving fear into the hearts of the masses. But I'm not a knight of honor and righteousness either."
Bridget will take the opportunity to shift herself from the circle of lancers to several feet behind them while still facing Dracula with arms crossed. As if she hadn't even moved. "If I felt the need to take action against your intent, I would pretend to join your cause for long enough to learn how to neutralize you." Bridget shrugged and glanced back at the portrait. "Now, if you said you were going to rape the women, torture the children to death, and kick all the cats... I wouldn't hesitate to start a war right here and now."
Bridget's eyes as she turned back to look at Dracula were colder than death and just as devoid of compassion or hesitation. They were the eyes of someone who would hunt her own father and sister for over a thousand years for execution. It only lasted a moment before she suddenly dropped back into her usual cat-may-care shrug. "If you still want to kick me out just for having a slightly different opinion, go ahead. I'd take the exact same set of actions... or lack thereof." But after a thoughtful pause. "Except I would request the time limit be at least five minutes after full sunset. I'm still not sure about full sun exposure..."
[Action]
"I have no interest in rape or torture. Such things may motivate humans but they - like those concepts - are beneath me. I am a bringer of fear. If any stand against me or my forces they will be dealt with swiftly and decisively, regardless of gender or age. Those that are smart enough to cower in their homes will be left untouched. They're more valuable alive and fearful than brave and dead."
He motioned for the minions to leave them and the room quickly emptied. No if there was going to be a confrontation, he would deal with Bridgette personally. "I will not evict you for a difference in opinion, however I will not allow any within these walls to stand against my ambitions. As for the time limit, you are free to act as you see fit, but the limit itself stays."
[Action]
[Action]
"We march on the Mayor's office within a week. I intend to 'liberate' the office from the rule of he Guardian. Especially with the revelation I've recently been able to confirm. Everglade's barrier requires fear to function, and is likely teetering on the edge of failure once again. I would appreciate your help in this matter."
[Action]
[He turns to face Flandre, wearing as close to a warm smile as he was capable of.]
This is but the first step of making you, your sister, and myself the rightful rulers of the night. After the Mayor's office is free to restore the natural balance here, you will have nothing to fear, Miss Scarlet.
Re: [Action]
Oh. I guess that's okay then. It'll be safer to go outside then after that happens?
[Action]
"...I will do what I can to assist you, regardless. The sooner this matter is settled, the better."
[Action]
He nods, chuckling slightly. "I do not know for sure if the other cities operate similarly, but I have no reason to not think that."
He offers a hand for a handshake. "Then this will indeed be handled swiftly, I have no doubt with you riding with my army."
