[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Red Flaw
The CEO of Aster Technology is free to roam about the city again, as the assassins that had been sent after him were foiled. Android 18 was again front and present to foil a plot by the Red Claw. This reporter believes the team was assembled by her to help take the assassins down. It is unknown how the group will respond to the interference, but this reporter can bet they won’t be happy!
But the people of Nova City have nothing to fear from this group of terrorist so long as Android 18 is here. Her dedication to Nova City and the safety of innocents is inspiring!
Attack of the Monsters
An attack in Fayren took place last week was carried out by the Summoner Mage Arlen. We spoke to the City Guard for details about the aftermath of the attack, we found that 50 if not more were found dead or severely injured due to the attack. At least one shopkeeper was found dead in his Bookstore after a Giant Boar crashed into it. Some people are still missing after the event, and a search for them is still ongoing. The attack resulted in the damage of a number of buildings around the city, residential homes, stores, Inns, ect.
The group calling themselves the Hands of Decay have delivered another letter in the aftermath of this incident.
Arlen was later found dead in the forest. His wife, Vestele, was also found dead as the result of a stab wound. She appears to have died sometime before the attack. Initial impressions are that Arlen killed his wife and then proceeded to attack the city. The motive behind the attack on Fayren or why he killed his wife is still unknown at this moment. Further investigation into this is in the process of being carried out. Arlen and Vestele friends, family and acquaintances will all being questioned and we will keep you updated as the situation develops.
Culinary Takedown
The restaurant famous for have the best view in all of Nova City "The Circuit" is now under new management. Recently, a pair of teenagers, Alice Nakiri and Ryo Kurokiba, entered the establishment with leftover food from their food cart and gave it to customers. The customers instantly claimed that the scraps were better tasking than the hot, full course meal prepared by one of Nova City's premier chefs. The chef, and the owner of the restaurant were insulted by the mere idea of the accusation.
The teens made the wager for a cooking contest. The restaurant vs a lifetime of free labor. They even allowed the head chef and owner to select the judges. The owner accepted, believing his chef to be superior. Reports also say that the owner wanted to make an example out of them.
The odds seemed completely stacked in the restaurants favor. From the start of this article, this reporter believes it is obvious how the contest went. Alice Nakiri was the one to prepare the dish, after making it, she was seen working out changes before the verdict was even rendered.
Eyewitness accounts of the reactions to the food state that it was if eating Alice's food had placed the judges in pure ecstasy. The verdict was overwhelmingly in her favor. The owner, who had even appointed himself as a judge, even voted for her.
The culinary world of Nova City has been abuzz with people wanting to sample the food that would even make the restaurant owner vote against himself. Alice Nakiri has become a bit of a celebrity thanks to this. If you are hoping to eat at her restaurant, good luck! From what we hear, obtaining a reservation is no easy task!

Phantom Lord: Three hospitals workers have gone missing over the last few days. Attempts have been made to contact them, but to no avail. A report of someone creeping around the area was filed a few days before the incident, but no one was found at the time. With the workers now missing, a level 3 payment is being offered for anyone that can find them and put a stop to this person.
Nova City
Metal Militia: A group of three scientists have created three robots with the purpose of aiding the city’s police force. These robots have been given advanced fighting capabilities, but something went wrong in their coding and they have gone rogue. They appear to be targeting their creators. The machines designations are AJX-342, AJX-355 and AJX-Steve.
342 - is a firearms unit, capable of using firearms at an advanced level with pinpoint accuracy.
355 - is a unit with stealth capabilities and is deadly when undetected and even deadlier when it is found out.
Steve - is capable of adopting a human like appearance and is well rounded.
A level 3 payment is being offered for anyone that brings one of the robots down.

Holier Than Thou – A priest in Everglade has taken it upon himself to “cleanse” the city of all people and creatures that he deems unclean or unpure. Several people have been killed by this man so far. The people of Everglade are offering a level 3 payment to anyone that can stop him.
Fayren
The Unforgiven: Three brothers in Fayren have each crafted a potion that granted them transformation abilities. Rumor has it they plan to use these abilities to attack the Ivory Tower for banning them. A bounty level 3 payment is being offered for each brother.
Gorwin – Crafted a dragon transformation potion. Anyone going after him should beware of his ability to change into a flying, fire breathing dragon.
Emmyth – Crafted a potion allowing himself to change into a hulking werewolf like form. He’s said to be able to move faster than the human eye and has razor sharp claws to boot.
Vamir – Crafted a potion of growth. With the potion, it is said he’s able to grow 40 – 45ft tall.

Damage, Inc.: A rogue construction worker has been going around damaging property and vandalizing buildings. It has been reported that he has stolen explosives from an old company he worked for. Attacking in the dead of night to bring harm to the people of the city. This is all it takes. Just one mage to get the idea in their head to attack the city. Now imagine all of the mages choosing to strike. What are those without magic to do? Mages have many safe havens within the city as people that are willing to protect them. Mages of Fairy Tail, owners of shops like Trick And Treat. When they strike, these will be their allies. Perhaps your “Guardians” will defend you against a mage uprising. But they don’t even reside in your city, do they? What’s to happen if someone were to attack again the dead of night? They wouldn’t hear your cries for help. To my people that lost friends or family to this heinous, how many of them do you think would still be alive if your Guardian actually saw fit to stay among you? Fayren is constantly on the brink of destruction. All it takes is for one person to decide that they truly want it gone. But the Hands of Decay don’t want that to happen. I organized nothing. Let's get one thing straight, while helping the innocents is great and all, this started from a personal vendetta for making others of their kind look like murderous psychopaths.

Info: In the aftermath of the mysterious attack in Fayren said to be the work of a resident summoner there, the late Arlen, two members of Fairy Tail have stepped up again and announced their intent to assist with repairs and donations, even searching for medical - physical and mental - assistance for those who survived the attack. The two heading the effort, Miss Lucy Heartfilia and Mr. Natsu Dragneel, both mages of Fairy Tail, had been among those responding to the attack. We had some difficulty pinning the lovely lady down for comment, but we were eventually successful. When asked of her opinion on matters, Miss Heartfilia stated:
"I'm not so naive to say there aren't bad mages out there, but you can say the same about people. Not all mages are hateful, and not all people are hateful. The Hands of Decay are exception to the rule - they're hateful, small minded bigots threatening all mages, regardless of whether they've done good or not. They're more busy pointing fingers and blame than helping the people who were hurt. Fairy Tail already has a reputation here, for helping the people of Fayren - mages and NON mages alike, and that's not going to stop because of some prejudiced jerks."
Anyone who wishes to make donations to people in any amount can contact Lucy Heartfilia or Natsu Dragneel in Fayren. Miss Heartfilia has also made it clear that it is not just money that would be helpful, but anyone who wishes to assist repairs, or the victims themselves with food, medical assistance or therapy would be welcome.
