7th Feather || [Action] || Teleporting?

|Action| Anywhere: Specifically in Everglade & it's sub archways...

[It's late, the moon is climbing in the night sky and the young princess is getting ready for bed. Her kitten is curled on her pillow and Pikachu is arranging the blankets at the end of her bed. A soft yawn falls from her lips and she stretches her arm over head. The little kitten jumps on Sakura's lap just as things begin to shift and change. It feels weird and in a blink she's suddenly somewhere else.

Her kitten meows in distress and she's sure that Pikachu is freaking out back in her bed room. The wind that brushes by is cold and she realizes then that she's in her nightgown, without her phone and it's the middle of the night. She wraps her arms around her kitten and softly tries to sooth it.]

Suush, it's okay little one.

[OOC: Feel to have Sakura be anywhere, the idea is for her to be in trouble so feel free to save her sorry butt as well. If you want to plan something more specific hit me up on plurk

[All Anastasia remembers was getting out of bed to get a drink of water. After her drink was downed and her needs met, she was walking to her room in the children's home when she suddenly felt an outdoor breeze flow around her.

She was confused as to why she was now outside in her bunny-print nightgown without a single thing that can help her in this situation. She sees a figure near by and carefully and quietly moves to investigate.]

"Hello...?"

[Calling out to them might have been a bad move, though.]

Y-yes!

[Sakura turns feeling a little nervous once she's identified this place as Everglade. She knows how dangerous it can be.]

Anastasia!

[She runs over to the other girls side holding her kitten close.]

We need to get to the archway.

[Anastasia gasped when she saw it was Sakura, her bestest of best friends. She was just about to hug her, but stopped when she saw the kitten in Sakura's arms.]

"Sakura! Do you know what's happening? Why are we suddenly outdoors in our nightgowns? Why do we need to get to an archway?"

[Sakura shakes her head.]

I don't know what's going on but we're in Everglade and it's after dark.

[As she spoke she hears footsteps around them making her turn and stare into the darkness.]

"Everglade?"

[There was a noticeable fear in her voice, she has been hearing about Everglade more often lately. She soon also heard the footsteps and looked into the darkness as well, trying to spot what could be making the sounds.

She reaches to take Sakura's free hand into her hand to in attempt to stay calm, but so far, it's not helping well enough.]

[By this time of night, Cipher has no qualms with going out for a quick hunt. Residents would know it's well past curfew, and if they're out by that point, well, that's just their tough luck. Of course, monstrous creatures don't get a pass either- all creatures were free game to him.

So in the middle of city streets, Sakura is sure to stumble upon a large, black feathered creature standing over the corpse of some unfortunate creature. Its wings twitch as it lifts its head away from the creature's neck, turning its head to glance behind it at the young girl. Staring with its six eyes, it speaks in a doubled voice.]

What is a child so young doing out this late in the night?

Konoka swore there weren't spiders hanging around here before, but apparently just trying to dust one of the studies angered one of the arachne, and at the moment she was trying to placate the angry woman.

"Now now," Konoka said. "It was an honest mistake! I didn't realize you were trying to do something there!"

It seemed like the arachne wasn't making any hasty moves, but that was when Sakura showed up out of nowhere, wrecking another one of its webs and sending its mood back to sourness. Konoka gasped in shock from the sudden appearance of Sakura, confused on how she showed up... and how things had gone back to dangerous so quickly. "Where did you come from?! Was that a forced teleportation spell?!"

[Well this was mildly annoying. She had found herself in hell, well no this wasn't hell she at least liked that place. She figured this must be that Everglade place

With her hands on her waist she looked around.]

This place could use a good wash... Or to be burned. [She could hear someone and was quick to turn around. It was a young girl.]

Hey you! Shouldn't you be in bed?

[Sakura's one hand held onto Anastasia while her other held the kitten. She can feel the kitten tensing in her arms and that alone told her that whatever is in the darkness isn't a friend. She hears a softly click of a tongue and a strange man walks into view. He's tall and his eyes look black as night and Sakura can already tell that he's dead.]

What are two cute little things doing out so late?

[His voice is low and broken as he walks forward. Sakura, for all her fear, stands her ground and glares at him.]

We are heading home and you will stay back.

[She focuses again like she had that day and brought up a magical barrier between the three of them and the strange man.]

[Sakura pauses when she sees him hoping for a moment that he hadn't hear her. Of course she isn't so lucky in this instance. The kitten in her arms shivers and it seems that fear is the only thing keeping her from clawing away from Sakura.

She swallows taking a small step away from the horrible scene and the unknown creature.]

I'm heading home.

[She hopes that she sounds confident.]

Sakura blinked looking up with confusion and surprise on her features. She keeps her kittens held tightly in her arms while looking between the girl, the spider and then at the tangled mess on the ground.

"Oh no!" She felt really bad for that. "I mean... yes. I was in bed and..." She tried to stand and then attempt to put the web back in place, of course it didn't want to move.

Sakura didn't mind spiders, she didn't mind most animals and she hadn't meant to wreck that web. "I'm so sorry." She should probably be more scared but her situation has yet to fulling sink in.

[Cipher turns around fully to look at her. He seems to bear no hostility towards her, lowering his head to seem a little more on level with her.]

This late? Surely you had heard of the mayor's announcements for Everglade.

[His tail wraps around the seemingly shriveled corpse behind it, tossing it carelessly towards the river.]

Unless, of course, you are another unfortunate soul wandering Everglade after being seemingly teleported here?

[Sakura really can't argue with that question. She holds her kitten tightly to her chest and nods.]

Yes, I just appeared here.

[She always thought that she was lucky now she isn't so sure about that.]

[Sakura nods trying not to look at the body as it flies out of sight.]

I heard and yes. I was going to bed.

[Hence she's wearing her nightgown.]

So you are not at fault then.

[Another one, huh? Once again, Cipher finds himself feelin a little generous, though Sakura's age may be helping with that. His wings fold against his back, eying the girl and her kitten carefully.]

Do you live in Everglade, child?

Either way, the odd warping had made the situation worse, and outside either party's control. The Arachne saw Sakura's effort to fix things even more annoying, and thus decided to try and web her up. Konoka, being either brave or foolish (or more likely both) decided to try her hand and distract the spider woman before she did something harmful, especially to the woman who was protecting those cute kittens!

"Wait! Please don't! She didn't mean anything!" Konoka called out desperately. And the good news was that her distracting bid worked. The bad news was that the Arachne now thought that Konoka was trying to interrupt its work, and thus began spitting web to wrap her up. "Yeeeek!"

[Anastasia's heart was racing as she backed off a step behind Sakura, still holding on to the other girl's hand. While Sakura looks to be brave enough to stare down a man like that, but Anastasia was visibly frightened.

She doesn't know what Sakura is planning, staying put when she believes they should be running. Well, she certainly wasn't going to leave her best friend behind. The younger princess was at least brave enough to stay with her friend.]

"J-Just what d-do you want from us, anyway?"

[Sakura shakes her head.]

No, but I know someone who does.

[She works in Everglade but if he doesn't know who she is there then it's probably better that she not tell him.]

Sakura realized that she wasn't helping and moved out of the spiders path. She stopped close to the other woman and clamped her eyes shut as she began to focus.

"Please protect us..." Her voice was soft but slowly a thin shield began to appear in between the three of them and the sider.

The kitten meowed as if to tell Sakura to open her eyes. Her magic wasn't trained but she could at least make shields.

[The man clicks his tongue again.]

Isn't it obvious?

[He steps forward and then stops, hitting Sakura's shield. His eyes narrow at her as if seeing her for the first time. Sakura isn't about to make this easy and again she spoke.]

Leave.

[Honestly, he revels in the fact he's clearly intimidating to her, but even in his usually dark nature, he doesn't really care to torment or kill younger mortals. Weaker ones are far too easy, and he's got a little more class than that.

His body is engulfed in shadow, and in a flourish of swirling black feathers, the shadows retreat and leave the horned man in the gray, fur-trimmed coat and high heeled boots standing before her. His eyes glowing gold for a moment before the glow faded. He chose to show her his primary form to seem a little less intimidating. A little.]

It's far too dangerous for a child to travel alone in this place. Do you wish to seek refuge with your friend, or do you seek to leave the city to where you belong?

[It wasn't obvious to Anastasia, who hasn't realized what the man is in her fear. Her upbringing only leaves her to assume the man was going to try to steal them away.

When the man stepped forward, Anastasia made a frightened sound. She was almost crying now when she tried to talk to Sakura.]

"Sakura, what does he want with us? Why won't he leave us alone?"

Pinned to the ground, Konoka struggled to get free of the webbing that pinned her body together. Fortunately, as the spider tried spitting at Sakura too, her barrier went up, blocking her efforts. Irritated, the spider lashed out at the barrier to see if it would hold.

"Whoa...!" Konoka was fairly impressed at Sakura's barrier, being quick enough on the draw to have summoned it better than Konoka had. "You must be pretty good at magic..." she commented, continuing to work off the web that trapped her.

Ah, so you fell victim to that.... thing. Usually I would know something like this, but it's like it fell out of my head.

[She places a hand lightly on her head. She was getting a headache after all.]

It's irritating.

[Sakura watches him, her eyes widening. He's a lot less scary like this though she doesn't know who he is.]

Either. I don't have my crystal with me. [Because bed time.]

It might be easier to go to Zelos's...
