Alright. So I thought it might be a good idea to advertise my business. In Fayren, I have a business called Under The Sun Retrievals. People around Fayren put in requests for things from the forest like certain flowers or herbs or other types of ingredients for whatever they want them for. Butchers have asked me to hunt and bring them certain animals for the meat, as well. I’ve had to get fur, claw and horn clippings, scales and other stuff too.

Basically I get asked to get a lot of stuff. And I get enough requests that I am able to start up this full fledged business. So I’m looking to hire on some help. I’ve got 2 position open for Beast Hunters, basically handling any job that requires going after any living creature. And 2 open for Herb Hunters, basically going after vegetation and the like. I have a single spot open for anyone that can do both.

Anyway, if this sort of work interests you, let me know!

Hey. I thought would let you guys know that I found out the Hands of Decay call their potential members Thumbs. I know that information isn't anything all that substantial, but it's something. I still have my ear to the ground hoping to find out anything that I can.

[Sun felt like doing something nice for his housemates. On his way home he stopped at a place and got a bunch of takeout for everyone. He picked up different dishes so there would be a variety of things to choose from. Anything left over would probably go into the fridge.

There was something in the paper about an apothecary being robbed - that might be connected to the Hands as well, so Natsu and I are going to look into that. I'll let you know if we find out anything.

I wish you luck with your business. If the position is still open, I would like to volunteer my companion and myself to apply as Beast Hunters. As Fencers, we have extensive experience in the matter of defeating beasts of various sizes and temperaments.

I'm afraid I am quite uncertain as to how official employement works in this world. [ Back home it was basically take a job, meet with the client and get it done~! ]

Right now I wouldn't rule anything out. We already know that they got their herbs from places like that - [ Well, more herbalists, but apothecaries could be included in that category ] so it's either a strange coincidence, or it is connected to the Hands of Decay in some way.

[Kahlan is working on a few papers in front of her when she hears the notice. Honestly she can use a job and the fact that she lives and is most comfortable in Fayren helps.]

If there is still an opening for an herb hunter I'd be honored for the opportunity. I know a lot about plants from my own home and I'm used to traveling. I'm still learning about Fayren but I know a fair amount compared to when I first arrived.

[She smiles.]

[ Weiss could smell that from all the way downstairs. After the stress of speaking with contractors to get the house fixed after whatever happened while she was at work, she had just been planning on skipping dinner. Her stomach rumbled briefly before she elected to quietly run downstairs and peek around the corner to see how much there was.

Either Sun was being a pig or he was being very generous. Weiss straightened up and walked into the room calmly. ]

I still have two openings for Herb Hunters. It's completely acceptable, too. All you have to do is fill out the form. I have my own catalog for the herbs that I found, complete with pictures and a marking on a map where I found them. I can copy them for you to help make your job easier.

I am more than happy to give you whatever information I come across, but I'm not going to withhold it from my friends. Especially when they are part of the people being targeted.

Only so you two can fill out the application forms. But those are straight forward and don't need any really detailed info.

You could be right. If anything, even if it's not connected, it's still worth checking out. If whoever is doing it thinks they can get away with it, they'll just do it more and more. And I know quite a few people that run those shops. They are good people.

[Work has been good to him lately and he was sure it was about to get better. So he was feeling pretty generous at the moment. Plus he can't always leave it to others to get dinner.]

I've been working on learning the trails to and from different parts of Fayren. I was a woods guide in Hartland. People paid me to guide them through the forest when they traveled.

[ She's going right for the broccoli and chicken, failing slightly to slow down the second he gives permission. For a brief second someone might've mistaken her for being a really white Ruby with how fast she was going. Weiss really hasn't eaten all day. ]

You can bring them there. Though sometimes people want them delivered directly to them after you get them. [The people usually pay up front anyway.] I'll let you know when that is the case, though.

The forest of Fayren can be tricky. I've been keeping my own maps of it marked with where I've found certain herbs before. Images of the herbs themselves as well. You're more than welcome to them, if you ever need help tracking something down.
