[David starts up the video feed and starts to speak.]

Okay first I want to-

[Loud construction noises can be heard and he stops. There is construction being done at the Guardian's office to put in extra offices for Deputies. He waits for them to stop, and opens his mouth again.]

Okay..I-

[Hammers banging and more construction noise. He stops. He opens his mouth to speak again and they start right back up. He sighs and in a flash of light, he’s sitting inside of a café. He flags down a nearby waitress and orders a BLT and a drink. Then he turns back to the camera.]

Alright. Now where was I.. oh right. This is belated, but I want to thank all those that came out to the Carnival without ill intentions and all those that participated in the date auction. The events couldn’t have been successes without you. I want to give a personal thanks to Yui Kusanagi. Without her, the Carnival would have been put off for a while longer. So thank you, Yui.

[He receives his drink, thanks the Waitress and shifts his focus back to the camera.]

I also wanted to announce a new addition to Genessia City. It’s been something that I’ve been working on and frankly I think this place could use it. In Genessia City, you will now find the W&T Building. W&T is short for Will & Testament. Ominous, I know. But listen.

[He attaches an image of the building here.]

The W&T Building is for people to use to setup things in case they depart from this place. It’s used to execute your wishes on dispersal of property, businesses, assets and the like. If you have opened up a Sub-Archway to a place in your world, you can also transfer ownership to another person that is also from your world. This is possible because of the CPU. Initially it wasn’t going to include Sub-Archways, because I have no control over that, but I posed the question to the CPU, and it said it is something it can handle.

[A small break to take a another little sip of his drink.]

So, the W&T Building, like Memoria Park, is considered hallowed ground. It’s all sorts of illegal to try to do any harm to anyone that is in the building. When you enter the building, you are allowed to use on of the rooms inside. You will find forms inside for you to fill out that will say who gets what and so on. There will also be a device that you can use to record a message, if you want to leave something like that.

Once you are finished, there is a box you can put the stuff in and a place to deposit it. I don’t have access to these boxes. I can’t go inside of it or review or change the contents whatsoever. Anyone that tries to obtain the boxes or tries to commit any form of theft or altering any of the contents will be charged with a crime. And you can expect the same response that you would get if you attacked someone at Memoria Park. The only time someone other than you gets access to the box is once you have left. And that person is someone that you have to designate.

If you wish to get your box back and change or remove something, you can contact the CPU directly via your device when you are inside one of the rooms and the box will be returned to you. We have Memoria Park so that people can find some closure when the ones they care for have left. This place is a way for you to help give them that closure.

So if you have it in mind to do something like that for the people you care about, I encourage you to do it sooner rather than later.

The W&T Building sounds like a great idea. You're very kind to think of something like that.

How about we just say it was a team effort? I might call on you for help for more stuff in the future. [Unless she suddenly becomes super busy.]

It feels like a necessary sort of thing. I just hope people choose to make use of it. [He knows he's already working out the details for who he wants to get his stuff.]

Storage bank, maybe. With some estate attorney thrown in. Plus it being a free service and not to mention tamper proof.

It sounds like a good thing to have. [Still a little demented in a way but there is no telling who will stay and who will go.]

I always wondered if there was a way to get things from our worlds. I know we have what we woke up with but if I was looking for something specific... do you think the CPU would be able to get it?

I ask because it's something that I would then store with only a few people who can reach it. It seems safer but... [She isn't really sure but it doesn't hurt to ask.]

Yeah, I get that. But, man, did you make it sound morbid.

I know, but morbid or not it still bares talking about. Maybe I could have switched the order to end on a less depressing thing, though.l

[He's already trying to work up ideas for more fun events. So don't you worry.]

Yeah. It wouldn't be necessary if people didn't leave but..this place is what it is. [There was never any telling when it would happen either.]

I think you would need to open up a Sub-Archway to get it. As far as I know, there isn't a way to request a single item. What was it that you wanted?

[Levy shrugs and then runs her fingers through her hair. She hasn't tied it back yet which for her is unusual.]

It's just something from home. [Her smile widens.] Not a book for once.

[She shakes her head.]

You ended it how I usually end a wake. ...People really disappearing that often? Spooky stuff.

Yeah. I've never counted how many, but this place is often like a revolving door at times. Here one second and gone the next.

Not a book? That's kind of surprising.

You could always open it and then close it once you have what you want. The Sub-Archways don't have to be left open. [You can't use the same payment twice, though.]

[Levy flashes him a smile before shaking her head.]

Yes but wouldn't I have to pay for it? [She's already felt awful for losing a memory. She isn't keen on losing more.]

I don't think I have very much to give.

Yes, but when you close the Sub-Archway, you get your payment back. Like a refund.

[Levy blinks, clearly she didn't know this.]

Really? So I can give something up, return home, grab things, then close it and in the end lose nothing at all?

[That feels like cheating though Levy isn't sure that she cares if it's cheating.]

Like lab rats getting knocked out in experiments.
