Winry, I've been working on some blueprints for an arm incorporating technology from my world. I'd like to compare it to what you're familiar with and all, and anything you could teach me about Automail would be great. If we're going to do this for my sister, I want to be the one doing maintenance and everything on it. ...Also, if you're free sometime, I think it would be best for you and Yang to meet face-to-face.

Sis... there's a girl here that knows how to make mechanical prosthesis. I've talked to her and a guy from her world who uses both an arm and leg she built, and they could even keep up with me in a fight. I want you to meet with her. I think together, she and I can build you an arm that would put you back at the top of your game.

[Well this was certainly something new. Though from what she's heard of Ironwood perhaps not too surprising. They apparently had tech like that back home.]

Are you sure, Ruby? I can't imagine it'd be cheap. I don't know how long it'd take me to pay off one arm. It might cost my leg.

I went all out against the guy with the arm and leg, and he took hits from Crescent Rose, and was able to do all sorts of stuff with it I've never seen before. Heck, I could probably build Ember Celica into the arm, and you'd definitely be able to use it with your aura and everything.

I'm sure about this, Yang. ...I can't just sit around and do nothing while I see you in pain, especially if there's something I know I can do to help.

I don't want to rely on you guys for my arm. I can try to find a job somewhere to pay for it. [Especially as she's out of her moping period.]

He took Crescent Rose to the arm? Are you sure you were hitting him hard enough?

[Crescent Rose was sharp, and with how Ruby can boost speed with the recoil, even Yang wouldn't want to take many hits from that.]

Sure, that sounds great and I'll gladly teach you about them ...Even to the point where you can do the maintenance and stuff! And I'd love to meet Yang face to face too, I can make time for it whenever.

I mean, the whole situation surrounding it, and what happened after doesn't help but... if she can get back some sense of feeling normal again, hopefully she can start to work through stuff...

Ruby...No one's really 'normal'. You've got mom's eyes and you've got that little spark in you that made Ozpin choose you to lead us.

Weiss is rich and behind that snooty attitude she's a good girl who wants to strike out on her own.

Blake wants to end the discrimination between humans and faunus and she's our quiet sneaky girl with a love of tuna.

And I'm sexy and awesome all round! [Okay a little more seriously.] And I'm your sis and I like the thrill of excitement.

Being a Huntress in itself isn't a normal thing either. But it's not wrong to be special, its what you want to do with what makes you special that should make you be happy.

...it's not just that. Something... happened. When Weiss and I went to try and save Pyrrha... when I saw Pyrrha die... I did... something.

I don't know what happened, I don't remember anything but... uncle Qrow said I froze that giant Grimm at the tower. That I got that from Mom.

Please... don't tell anyone about that though...

[Oh Ruby....you always seem to get right in the middle of it all.]

[Yang still grimaced at the mention of Pyrrha's death, though it was only for a moment it was still clearly visible as was the slight shifting of the girl to look down at her stump.]

Just remember Ruby, no matter what else may come, you're still my dorky, weapons-loving sister.

[She just kind of... grips her shoulders for a moment before saying anything.]

What do I tell them though? That if I had known how, I could've saved everyone? That I could've saved Beacon?

[Yeah she's... beating herself up more than she should but... she can't help but think of the 'what if' scenarios.]

You tell them, that 'hey I found out I've got this nifty power that let me do something to the person who killed Pyrrha and stop that dragon Grimm.'

And if they give you trouble over it, just ask them to show their special power that they found out they had on the fly and ask them to use it whenever they want.

Besides, even if you could have used it earlier, whatever it was had knocked you out, so you'd have to be protected after that point.

Seriously Ruby, no one has the right to say anything about that. Hell you could even keep it quiet until you learn how to harness that power yourself anyway.

I know... and it's not like anyone has said anything about it... I guess I'm being harder on myself than anyone else is...

[She shakes her head and claps her cheeks.]

All the more reason to concentrate on this. This is something I know I can do.

[ She gets some bittersweet smiling at that. ]

It's great to have friends, who take care of each other no matter what. ...I hear stories like that a lot in my work and hey, mostly it works just as you said, they start working through it. [Some don't.] Let's just take one step at a time, okay? I really hope it helps her a lot!

[She takes a second to clear her throat, before angling the camera down to a rough sketch of Ember Celica's blueprints that she had been working on, with notes on how much force the shotgun gauntlets could produce.]

I'm kind of hoping to integrate her weapon into the design, and maybe make some tweaks to it so it works better with the prosthetic. Think this will put too much strain on the arm?

I wasn't talking about the arm, Ruby. I mean you. Don't work yourself too hard trying to push yourself too much. We're just huntresses-in-training.

Don't worry 'bout that, sis. This is something I know I can do, and enjoy doing. Drawing up blueprints for an arm kinda reminded me of when I was designing Crescent Rose.
