He didn't know where the sudden bout of exuberance came from, but he wouldn't take it for granted. Within him the pain and dissonance remained, but for the time being he felt as if he could at least act somewhat normal.

Maybe that little flower had done more for him than he realized.

"I think so. Getting away from this place isn't a bad idea." That place being the Bay, of course. He brushed his eyelid with his fingertips as if something were there, but it was really just a nervous habit.

He followed her, a brief silence settling over them. It didn't last too long before he felt the need to say something.

"Terra?" He shoved his hands into his pockets, not sure how to go about voicing what he he had on his mind. Just go for it? "I feel like I should thank you again. For helping me."
