He simply nodded, but if she caught a glimpse of his eyes she'd see him trying to communicate a quiet thankfulness for her understanding. It was a bit hard for him to wrap his head around why she'd chosen to open the subarchway, but he could empathize with the feeling of missing one's home.

"I can afford a hotel for a while." He said it like he was sure of the fact, but he really wasn't. "I mean, probably. I don't know how the currency here works, but... what I mean to say is you don't have to trouble yourself with it."
