[ Yui had been depressed lately. It had taken so long for she and Loki to get together, she had expected it to last a little longer before things ended. Of all the things that people had warned her about in the dangers of dating a god, no one had warned her of the very simple fact of Genessia: People didn't seem to stick around for long.

Yui was the type of person who helped others and buried things down so that she could move on with life, but that didn't stop her from taking the time she needed. She sat in Memoria Park, alone, on a picnic blanket beneath one of the trees. She had been sitting here a long while, trying to figure out what epitaph to write for him, and had ended up falling asleep near the roots. ]

That... depends.

How do you think they would want to be remembered?

[No matter what excuse he gave, it still hurt to not have Loki around. Mikoshiba felt like he had lost someone he could be honest with and not be judged in the same way others might have. Loki was his friend.

And so is Yui. He stops but relaxes when he sees her breathing. He approaches, and hesitates before he lightly shakes her shoulder.]

Yui-san?

kirino doesn't really need to know all of the details, all she has to know is that someone had left her. she decided to talk about the fun things for now, she can ask her about it later.]

Romantic comedies are always great, or even dramatic ones. [she won't say she loves watching anime movies the most.]

What are yours? We can watch a movie tonight at my place if you want.

[he hadn't known that she had been extremely depressed lately, he had mostly been focusing on work and his own training. today however he had decided to take a break from his typical routine and take a trip to the park. he had in his hand a water, which he sipped on occasionally as he strolled through the park. he scanned the area, looking out at the scenery-.... until he spotted someone familiar.

ah- it was yui. senji smirked to himself and then headed over to her. once he was close by he sat down next to her (far enough away that he wasn't touching her of course) and he leaned back against the tree. once he was comfortable, he looked over to her.]

Yui, oi. [...is she gonna wake up?] Oooii! [he didn't want to shake her awake, so maybe this will work.]

[ It takes her a while to think about this. It isn't because she doesn't know him, but because her own feelings are making it difficult. ]

Happily. He liked to play pranks and surprise people. He laughed a lot.

[ She wakes up sleepily, one eye on Mikoto at first.

Except he's like totally hovering over her and she's too asleep to remember she's not at home so she bolts up and backs up at the same time, a high-pitched gasp seething through her teeth. ]

Mikoshiba-senpai! What-

Ah.. I really liked a Bolt from the Blue.

[ He wished he didn't know what she was going through, he did. It wasn't easy. Losing someone was never easy. ]

If there's any special memories you have like that, then tell a story. Sharing memories can relieve grief, sometimes.

[ Sometimes. ]

It doesn't have to be perfect, you know. The meaning behind it is what matters.

[ Yes, it would. Yui looked up sleepily, confusedly. Senji being against the tree gave her pause for a few seconds, making her wonder if she was hearing things in her sleep, but after a few seconds she spotted him out of the corner of her eye. ]

Senji-san..?

I think I'll do that..

Sorry the first time we meet is with such solemn conversation. I'm Yui Kusanagi.

And are you free later? You didn't answer me on that.

[he grinned down at her once she had woken up, he looked obviously amused. he hadn't had any sort of plans for the rest of the day, so he had decided that hanging out with yui would be more entertaining than going back home.]

'Sup. You can go back to sleep if you want- I'll just be sittin' here as well. Didn't really like you being alone out here sleeping by yourself.

I hope it works out.

[ Apologizing for her loss felt a bit out of bounds at this stage, so he hoped it was implied. ]

No apology needed, Yui. I go by Jefferson.

[Blaze had made it a habit to take walks around the city and stop at the parks sometimes. He was carrying his cat with him when he stopped at Memoria, wanting to at least keep the little furball out of trouble in this park.

He stopped when he saw the girl sleeping by the tree, recognizing Yui from the gym and the Iaido classes. He'd every intention to leave her be and quietly move on, until his cat Sisko decided he wanted to surprise Blaze and leap from his arms to wander over to Yui and curl up beside her. She had a nice napping spot. Blaze tensed, wanting to go get his cat and not disturb her, but not wanting to sneak up on her while she was asleep either.]

It depends. I'm kind of use to having to remember friends who have come and gone from here and I know how to say about each of them because we were friends.

I am sure it would be the same for you.

As for the happier note I like watching kung fu movies, but that is mostly because of my best friend. She always liked them.

[Nagisa always came to the park at least once a day to look at something he had placed for a good friend of his. So today had been no exception at all as he found himself standing in the park, quiet for once.

Wondering over he soon spotted a person out of the corner of his eye, which was enough to make him wonder over with a small smile. he didn't want to but felt like smiling was the best option right now.]

Wakey, wakey~ I know this place is nice, but once can never be too careful.

It's always been my policy to never remember the last time you saw someone. Put that out of your head and remember the rest. ...That said, does anything really need to be said? If they're gone, they won't hear it, and saying it just reminds everyone they're gone.

But that's just how I handle it anyway.

[Blushing profusely, Mikoto jolts up and looks away, rubbing his arm.]

You shouldn't fall asleep like that, Yui-san.

[ Mayu was with Mikoto. It was obvious, even to him how devastated Yui and Mikoto were over losing Loki, though Mikoto wouldn't admit it.
]

Mikoto is right.

[ He was back to dropping the honorific.]

Thanks. I know he's not dead, just gone from this place, but it still hurts to be apart.

Nice to meet you, Jefferson-san. [ No one escapes the -san. ]

[ She'd been so surprised she accidentally had gone back to calling him Mikoshiba-senpai instead of Mikoto-senpai. It mostly had to do with seeking familiarity- she'd known him as the former longer than the latter. Yui looked over at Mayu when he said it. ]

This place is supposed to be safe for everyone, isn't it? I just.. I was thinking about things.

Sorry.. I thought I had implied yes. I'm not really feeling up to it right now, but perhaps tonight.

Are you watching over me, Senji-san?

[ She's not going to say it, but the way she's giving him a half-asleep smile should say she appreciates it.. though she's already caught on to the fact that he doesn't appreciate being treated like he's a good guy, even if he would sit down just so a girl could get some shut eye at a park without worry. ]

[ Yui woke up easily from the sudden fuzzy warmth. Not having pets, it was a very unfamiliar feeling. Even Melissa hadn't really slept up against her and he had been her roommate in Zeus's Garden. Her eyes opened slowly and she looked down at the feline. ]

Ah, hello..

[ It was like a living poof ball.. ]

There are a lot of things to say.. I wanted to leave him a message. I don't want to call it a eulogy, but Memoria Park near the shrine keeps a list of all of the lost and you can write something for those people. I want to make sure Loki-san has a message for him.

Your best friend must be a very action-oriented person.
