[Ugh, she'd been trying to avoid this thing as much as possible on her own part, other than peeking in and poking through things for her own curiosity. Speaking wasn't exactly a fun pastime of her's and she had other things to normally attend to. But... well, things were starting to get a little too obnoxious for her own liking. And it's something she's been sort of keeping to herself, even if some of the effects are a little hard to play off.
A soft sigh escapes her lips as she flicks the video on, the backdrop seemingly some shady part of Genessia City proper, though off out of the way from the majority of the people milling about.]
Yeah, I know, there's bigger problems going on right now but I've got a curious question for some of you. How many of you are familiar with how more... mechanical or biomechanical beings function? Just for my own knowledge, might be looking into knowing just how much of an outlier I might be when it comes to non-natives of this place. Androids, cyborgs, whatever the hell you want to call them.
[Locked from Krillin]
As a jumping off point from that question, if you do have knowledge on those kinds of things and can refer me to someone that might be able to help if something isn't working properly, I'd appreciate it. My usual point of contact for these things is decidedly not in the city and without access to the damn blueprints, it's a bit of a pain in the ass to explain exactly. Long story short is that my muscles are starting to act up a bit and I know it's not the actual organic part of them causing it, it's the stupid enhanced bullshit that's causing it. It's localized to my right forearm currently, but given that's my dominant arm, it's not a pleasant experience.

Everything okay, honey?

Everything's fine, merely curious. If we're going to be stuck here for who knows long, it's best to know what options are out there, don't you think? Since we both know my body doesn't quite function the same way a human's does.

Alright. It would be a good idea, yeah... Kinda miss Bulma at times like this. Still... if there's something bothering you, I'm here for you honey. You know that.

Believe me, at this point I'm feeling the same way. I'm not terribly keen on having to explain to someone new about how all of this nonsense works or have to show them. [She actually winces a little bit at her own words, focus flicking up above the camera for some reason or another.] Not a particularly nice subject. [Not touching that last part, Krillin.]

no subject
No, it's fine. This is something I need to do on my own, anyway. All I'm doing is looking for someone at the moment, so it's hardly a big deal.
no subject
Okay. Just keep me updated, okay?
[Have a reassuring grin.] I'd better get back to class.

Depends on how varied tech is between our worlds, but I'm a pretty damn good mechanic. Well, more than just a mechanic but I won't bore you with the details unless you want them. If your arm is the only issue I could probably get it back in order again.
[ He hadn't quite specifically worked with anyone like her before, but he was a fast learner. He wouldn't have offered if he wasn't confident he could do what he said he could. ]
no subject
I will. And you ought to, otherwise they won't get anywhere.
[Private]
From what I've gathered of it, mind you my own theories and the analysis of the blueprints, nanomachines and cybernetics seems to be the majority of the work that was done. So I assume the issue is probably cybernetic in nature, it's a little pathetic that it's acting up only after five years. But I shouldn't have expected quality from that bas-[She pauses, taking a deep breath. No, no need to get into that.] from that particular person.
[Though she does pause a moment, a brow raising in question at him.] Details would be nice, the problem might be mechanical and scientific in nature, but all of the mess around it are still biological in composition.

I am more familiar with purely mechanical repairs instead of biomechanical functioning, but there is a chance I could help with the problem. Failing that, if you do find someone that can manage such a repair, I would like to know who and where they are.
no subject
She frowns at him, arms crossing over her chest as she contemplates the words.]
Lucky for you I think the problem is more cybernetics based than it is nanotechnology, so it's less biomechanical than it sounds. [Though to what extent, she's not entirely sure, she doesn't know too much about how things work at this point. Though less out of a lack of knowledge and more out of not being particularly keen to know.]
Who are you, so I can know who to reach out to if I do find someone? And are you new? I can only recall meeting one other cyborg in this place and you're certainly not him.
no subject
I'm Genos and I am new, my teacher and I arrived here a few days ago. I haven't run into other cyborgs yet, unless you count this. As for you arm, without seeing it in person, I can't do much to help.
[If he got to learn about such technology from other worlds, all the better.]
no subject
Eighteen, if you would. [Not her real name for reasons, but she's not about to get that personal.] Your teacher? And you aren't missing much, to be fair, since as far as I'm aware there's only one other cyborg around here unless you count some of the natives, but I haven't heard about them in quite a number of weeks. [A soft sigh falls from her lips, but.]
Would you prefer somewhere more public or private? My husband and I run a dojo in Genessia City which is mostly empty about this time of the day as all the students would have gone home at this point. Or we could have somewhere more public, depends on how comfortable you are. [A brief moment of a pause.]
I wouldn't blame you for public, either. But for what it's worth, I don't fight anymore unless it's to protect something.
no subject
My teacher, Saitama. We showed up together. I assume that whatever force brought us here brought me along to assist him, he is a very powerful man. [He brightened up considerably while talking about Saitama but went right back to being serious when he switched to a more relevant topic.]
As for examining your arm, private would be fine. I'm not busy much while adjusting if you rather I visit sooner than later. [He didn't question the lack of actual name.] When did this pain start? Do you know why?
no subject
Kame Dojo isn't hard to find, just look for the unassuming dojo, I'll be waiting outside of it. [Sooner rather than later, obviously.] It started less than a week ago, but is a couple of days old. It started out as just a little bit of malfunctioning in my grip and has steadily become more obnoxious and worse than I'd prefer. And I don't know why, I haven't really had any problems like this since I arrived here. Or at all, for that matter. [Which is the strangest part to her, but after a couple of years of being a cyborg and not really maintaining herself all that properly, it's to be expected at some point.]
no subject
Hm. If it's getting that bad this fast that is a serious concern. I will head over right away. I doubt I can fix it, lacking tools, but I can look at it.
[Private]
Tony folded his arms and concentrated on her explanation. Those were words he knew so it wasn't at all hard to follow along. At least some things stayed the same from dimension to dimension. He raised an eyebrow toward the end, but whatever. That was her business. ]
First of all? I'm pretty positive I can help with that. Mechanical mixing with biological isn't something I'm completely unfamiliar with. Case in point, I used to have a power source stuck in my chest. Long story, really, but the point is I'm not dead so I'd call that a job well done.
Other credentials of note would be building combat viable robotic armor, pioneering therapeutic virtual reality tech, co-creating a sentient machine -- who we don't talk about because he had serious personality issues -- ... what I'm trying to say is I can do a lot of stuff. What you need isn't out of my array of abilities.
[Private]
His answers she listens to quietly, though she can't help the soft hint of an amused smile and muffled laugh at the not being dead part of things. Good on him, she knew that sort of thing was pretty rare if you didn't know what you were doing. Things she'd picked up in her time, truthfully.]
Then call me curious as to if you can help in this situation, your credentials sound awfully familiar to someone I knew in my world. Though a little less... likely to murder someone on accident. And the lack of anyone in those kinds of positions around here make the pool pretty small to pick from from the get-go.
[Though her expression shifts subtly, a frown seen for but a moment before returning back to the mask she's far more familiar with.]
I'd normally not make this sort of thing private exactly, but it's more of trying to keep my husband from worrying. It's not something I'm terribly keen on letting him know about, the problem, that is. [Even though if he just looked at previous responses, it's simple enough to see that she failed in that regard.]
[Private]
The vaguest hint of a smile was as good of a start as anything. ]
Like I said, I'd be more surprised if I couldn't help. Glad I don't give the accidental murderer vibe.
[ Tony was a pretty good pretender himself, so while he noticed the shift he acted as if he hadn't. ]
Not a problem. If you don't want him to know then he doesn't need to.
