2nd Campaign [Action]
Who: Dr Wily, Satsuki Kiryuin
When: Backdated 3/14
Where: Nova City
What: Super fighting.. Stu-uff o/~
Satsuki has found herself plagued with issues upon arriving to this world. Fortunately a good number of them have been resolved, buy her list still remains lengthy. Today's plan is rather cut and paste, however, and that's simply to meet Dr Albert Wily once more for a demonstration..
Amongst other things.
The problem, however, is that her earlier perusing through newspapers has revealed he's a rather.. Shaky case, so she'll have to work to turn him toward a more acceptable path which would ultimately be beneficial for herself. Or she could let his arrogance be his downfall and just pick up the pieces from there. She hasn't quite decided which path to commit to just yet.
If he existed in her world, Satsuki would probably waste little time making the decision clash with him. But given the current circumstances, his potential to become a useful ally is more acceptable. And the way to turn 'potential' to 'certainty' will be to spend more time with the mad genius, so here she is.
Her early afternoon walk brings the Student Council President through Nova City and toward Wily Tower's entrance, where she suspects she'll be stopped by some manner of security droid because she didn't make an appointment if he isn't there.

When he see's Satsuki approach, he'll take a step toward her. He's not blocking her path, Wily's said to play a bit more nice with the Student Council President.
"Well hey there, lovely day for a walk, isn't it?" It could use some explosions, but he'll leave that part out.
no subject
And not that 'Welcome to Stop and Shop, please scan your items' kind of social skills, by the way.
However her neutral, almost-frowny expression doesn't really waver as she replies, "If one enjoys walks, perhaps. And you are?"
no subject
"DWN 013 Crash Man, I'm what you'd call a Robot Master, one of Wily's elite." He'll point one of his drills at his chest proudly.
no subject
"Satsuki Kiryuin," she introduces in return, and of course avoids mentioning that she's unemployed. "So you are one of Doctor Wily's elite? One out of how many, might I ask? And when you say 'Master', are you insinuating that you lead a smaller group?"
no subject
"-...Out of sixteen at the moment, the number had a tendency to rise and fall back where we come from." Luckily, Wily seemed to be one of the head hanchos around here so they didn't get blown up by any Blue Robots too often.
"Yeah, we have command protocols that let us take control of simpler machines. All these green bots hanging around answer to me right now."
no subject
Still, it's fascinating. Crash Man, despite his very unusual apperance, has such humane gestures and speech patterns. That, more or less, solidates Wily's genius.
"Impressive; Nova City seems to be in good hands when it comes to it's defenses. If I may ask something personal, what do you do prefer to do during leisure time?"
no subject
"Hey! What was that?! Are you trying to be funny, well you aren't! Just because I don't have hands doesn't mean you have to rub it in!" What was about another question, his fuse has been lit.
no subject
"You misunderstand, I was merely suggesting that Nova City, hands-down, possesses the greatest defensive layout of the other archway cities."
no subject
"Of course we have have the best defense! The Doc built it, the Doc always builds the best stuff!"
no subject
"Did I? No offense but do get a 'grip'; I'm certain it was just mere coincidence." she replies with a small shake of her head. "So he always builds the highest quality mechanisms and the like? Yourself included?"
Though honestly, it'd be unusual if Crash Man didn't vouch for Wily's skill. But since she's gotten him fired up, it should be simple to convince him to demonstrate his combat prowess.
no subject
"GET A GRIP!? I'LL SHOW YOU GETTING A GRIP!!!!" And with that he'll raise his arms up in her direction and fire the two drills in his hands past her. She's lucky he still has a grip on that order to treat her as a friend, but he still didn't have to play nice.
Those drills will actually explode very shortly after hitting the ground behind her. The force of the explosions is actually pretty strong, but they're far enough away that they don't cause any harm.
"HA! SHOW YOU WHO'S GOT A GRIP!"
no subject
And while she didn't expect the drills to be removeable, she ends up not having to move anyway, and her raven hair whips backward when the projectiles pass, then forward following the explosion. Which, by the way, she does not look back at.
And then she smirks as she sets her hand upon the handle of her sword, Bakuzan, then withdraws the blade- Her curiosity has gotten the better of her. "Very well, I accept your challenge. Prove your words at your own peril, Crash Man!"
no subject
no subject
That said, she goes on the defensive and the blade in her right hand clashes briefly with the drill upon his right cannon in a parrying manner. She steps to the left, but doesn't counter-attack.
Truth be told, she's not entirely certain where to attack him, though the green bulb upon his chest seems like a 'hit me' area now that she thinks about it.
But that's too obvious, isn't it? Keeping a defensive position, she gestures for him to come at her with her free hand.
"Really. I feel you may be confusing me for a two by four." Tsk. Such jabs are rather below her- but she can't help it, it's far too fascinating.
no subject
"...What's that even supposed to mean!
You trying to say you're flat or something?"
He takes a second to think it over, but he can't figure it out. And that frustrates him. And when Crash Man gets frustrated, things blow up.
"SCREW IT! YAAAAAAGH!"
Watch out Satsuki, he'll fire another crash bomb right in front of her. Once it blows he'll dash through the dust kicked up by the explosion and thrust his remaining drill at her while the other one reloads.
no subject
Her smile goes away and she barely, just barely manages to catch sight of her opponent emerging to strike once more. The collision of his drill and her sword when she swings at it is poorly times which sends her not only back to the ground hard upon her back, but also tumbles along the road for a moment. ".. Tch."
She draws her fingers along the blue ribbons of her outfit which, in a blast of white light, transforms her uniform into her revealing 'armor'. "You've done well so far. Howver you get only one more try, then I will end this, Crash Man."
no subject
He doesn't much care for her change in wardrobe, he's too wound up in his own mayhem now. He'll start firing those crash bombs wildly. He doesn't even seem to be particularly aiming for her anymore. He's just littering the area with them.
He'll leap into the air and start firing more off at Satsuki this time. Just as the other ones around start to blow. She might want to watch her step as she dodges. She wouldn't want to walk into another about to blow, would she?
no subject
"..." Her brows furrow as the first wave of crash bombs are released. Well.. That's a very bad sign.
Satsuki holds her blade out to her side then bursts forward with slightly increased speed- her only choices are backward and forward, and she refuses to move back any further. The bombs go off in a massive chain reaction, then the ones behind her follow, then the ones in front- It's such a chaotic (yet astonishinly beautiful) display of chaos. No one could survive that much dust!
Two blades of chi whip from the wreckage, right behind them is Satsuki whom is covered in a considerable amount of cuts and bruises, hair and uniform covered in powder and soot. Both race right past Crash Man in what would be the blink of an eye for a human being-
Crash, however, may be able to process that Satsuki is slashing at him twice in near-unison with the chi-blades (assumed) contact at his shoulders.
She's quite literally aiming to disarm him with her technique.
no subject
Wait? Was she coming out from the dust? She could still stand!? She could still move!? She wasn't blown to bits!?
Those were thoughts that passed through Crash Man's head as he lost his arms in the next instant. A rain of sparks showered out from where they used to be connected to his body.
"Aaaaaaagh! My arms! My non-hands!"
no subject
That said, she hits the ground hard in a crouching position then resheaths her sword the moment his arms hit the ground, followed by a pained grunt, "Nngh.."
Actually her body was wracked with pain; it was extremely foolish of her to take the huge attack head-on even with the protection of her kamui- But she just wanted a demonstration, not an honorable battle.
Once she's back to her feet, the Council President turns to face the Robot Master with a rather perplexed expression, "..." Seeing as he's not human, she assumes she can't knock him out by conventional means- but how does one calm a frantic robot?
"CRASH MAN!" she bellows with intensity; he may not have a heart that her voice can strike into silence, but it's worth a shot.
no subject
"...What!? Oh wow, you really took a beating there." He hadn't really noticed, he was too busy making explosions and freaking out about his damaged arms.
no subject
If Satsuki weren't Satsuki she would have probably laughed at the absurdity of it all. Dr Wily has really impressed her, to create robots like these is quite the wonder!
"You shouldn't be surprised considering the amount of explosive power used." she replies with a deeper frown. "Your combat ability is far beyond my expectations; and I've surmised you have potential yet untapped."
She's no master of Drill-fu, but she thinks she can see where improvements, at least in melee, could be made.
"I suppose I should confess that I did, indeed, egg you on with the aim of having you fight without holding back. Forgive my childish tactic."
no subject
"Really? Oh, don't sweat it. I got to blow things up, it was pretty sweet. Did you see that last explosion? Boom baby! It rocked." There's a pause as he glances around a little nervously.
"Just well... don't tell the Doc I did that to you. He'll fix me up faster if he's not mad at me, y'know?"
no subject
In what kind of groups, though, is what she would really like to know. Sadly there's no visable reaction to his boasting about the explosions, and it is replied to with a stoic, "What I saw of it was rather impressive."
With an assortment of tecnicolor sparkles, Satsuki's kamui reverts to it's uniform state- though sadly it still appears to be on the 'abused' side. "If you direct me to where I can clean myself up, I will gladly abide to your request."
no subject
He'll kick his arm so that one of the drills will point to the Wily tower.
"inside there's a washroom or something to the left. Doc's got no problem with you going in the tower. So help yourself."
no subject
Her eyes follow the pointed direction, then nods in return, "I see," it seems she's left an acceptable first impression after all. "Very well. Until we meet again, Crash Man, it has been a pleasure."
And with that she turns around and walks into the tower with her hair waving rather dramatically behind her. It takes about fifteen minutes for herself to look more acceptable, ponders about her previous experience during it, and takes a bit of time for the pain to wear down.
Finally, with one last sigh, she makes her way back to the lobby, and looks around for where to start her search for the 'good' Doctor.
no subject
It's possible it could be going to report that damage to Wily, as Crash Man wasn't particularly keen on explaining the situation himself.
It's that or there's a handy dandy elevator nearby that she could use to start a search.
What do?]
no subject
Very well, Doctor. Challenge Accepted.
In that case the elevator seems a bit too obvious, so she settles for tailing the Sniper Joe.
no subject
Luckily though, he is not actually there today. The Sniper Joe will actually lead her right to a rather basic lab that Wily has set up on the ground floor. Wily himself can be found doing some minor maintenance on a few more parts that he can't just send off to his factory to fix.
When the sniper joe approaches with Crash Man's arm he looks far from pleased, but he hasn't noticed Satsuki approaching quite yet.]
no subject
Poor Crash Man. Satsuki hasn't the slightest idea what fate is in store for him, but she figures if there is a good time to intervene it would most certainly be now. Of course she's also under the assumption her presence will put him in a better mood.
Satsuki's heel clacks as she steps into the lab, and while she does glance around for a moment, her focus primarily is on the man before her.]
Doctor Albert Wily. I hope I have not arrived at a bad time?
no subject
Wily glances over when he hears the heels clack on the floor. That was certainly a lot lighter then the steps of any machine he would have made.]
Kiryuin Satsuki, wasn't it? N-no! Not at all.
[He'll toss the arm at the Sniper Joe and shoo it away.]
Just got a maintenance report I wasn't expecting, that's all!
no subject
Though the Sniper Joe being dismissed is appreciated- Not that secrecy is likely an issue here, but she considers it a respectful gesture.]
I will do my best to keep things brief, then. After having gotten myself up to speed with the.. Gist of the situation here in Genessia, I've decided following you would be the path with the greatest potential.
It isn't Nova City alone that would benefit from your genius and philosophy, and I'm interested in spreading them beyond these archways. As you may recall I've suggested that your largest obstacle is dealing with the youth in Genessia- with the background as Senior Student Council president and the willing to make seemingly 'controversial' decisions for the greater good, I believe you would be hard pressed to find anyone better for the job.
To get to the point, I want an opportunity to become your Assistant Guardian.
A response from me that didn't take days!? Who would have thought
This girl was different however, she commanded respect but also gave it. He could appreciate that. Not many others around here respected, he had to take what he could get.
Her asking to be his assistant did catch him off guard however. Of course he had made the offer before, but he certainly didn't expect it to be taken. This girl was certainly full of surprises.
He gave his mustache a bit of twirl as he thought on what she had to say.]
You do? Well of course it is, I could have told you that. I'm glad you've seen it for yourself though.
[Expanding his borders beyond Nova City? That was something he planned to do anyways. It was in part what the army he was building was for. However, he might be able to make it happen a little easier with some help.]
The youth are an obstacle, yes, but I have a feeling that wont be a problem for much longer.
I have a new Deputy Guardian after all.
[He'll offer her a hand to shake.]
Re: X)
While that may be true, investigation has always been a habit of mine. Not all of us are natural geniuses, Dr Albert Wily.
[While Satsuki isn't aware of Wily's plans and could only guess at his true goals, she doubts he'll have problems supporting her goals so long as it's under his name.]
It is an honor. I will bring forth a few ideas that will put our project into motion as soon as possible.
[Things should be simpler now that she has access to some resources; perhaps even more once his confidence in her increases further. With a nod of agreement, Satsuki accepts the hand and gives a firm shake.]
