1st Tomoe | Open Action, Genessia Bay

[ A necklace with stones, including a large green one. An illusion he couldn't break, and pamphlets saying that he's trapped in some strange place called Genessia.

All of it has one young teenager completely on edge, and he's looking around even as he takes all of his 'things' and makes his way to the mouth of the cave at the bay.

Before he can do much of anything else however, the sound of footsteps from outside having him tense for a split second before he acts. Without further hesitation he scales the wall, running straight up and hiding in a darker part of the ceiling, carefully drawing a kunai from his pouch and watching carefully.

Even with all of the information claiming that this place is safe, he can't afford to die here or even to let his guard down. ]

[Normally Kuzan wouldn't be by the bay but a change in routine is as good as any other. Besides which he somehow has been forced to take acquired a very small dog which looks little more than a moving cotton ball on the absurdly long leash, barely even making indents in the sand.

But well, Kuzan figures, if it does its business here, there is less cleanup of his own involved]

[ It takes a bit for him to see the ridiculously tall man and the small dog along the beach before he sighs. Within seconds he releases his grip from the ceiling, landing in the water with a small splash and walking out of the bay entirely.

The necklace on the man immediately catches his eye -- so he's someone who was brought here as well. Even knowing that he's been brought here, the boy still remains wary, watching the man carefully while he comes to the beach.

Something Kuzan might notice is that he's walking on top of the water like it's nothing at all. ]

[hm. So he has company. Talented company for someone his age and not entirely happy company]

Hmm... [he'll just wait for the boy to catch up while the dog is busy snuffing out a preferable poop spot]

[ Sasuke doesn't seem too intent on starting the conversation first, nor does he seem too keen on trusting Kuzan with his back. It doesn't seem like he'll do anything, especially not with the dog -- then again, it could be a nin-dog...

So sorry, the kid has clammed up for the moment. ]

[Kuzan stares at him a long moment. Then lets the dog off the leash, makes himself a deckchair of ice and, ostensibly, takes a nap. Your move, kid]

It's that safe here that you can do that.

[ WTF. Maybe this guy is just a moron like some other lazy guy he knows though. Or just a half a moron like that guy pretends to be. ]

It's hard to believe you can simply just sleep there when you've been kidnapped like the rest of us were, supposedly.

[ Frustrated. He doesn't want to give everything away, but getting information out of this guy isn't working either.

He'll scoff and start walking away, still wary and ready to substitute if he's attacked for whatever reason. He'll have to find what he needs to know elsewhere. ]

[ He pauses, listening briefly, before continuing forward and away.

Apparently Kuzan isn't getting an answer. ]

Ted always walked by the Bay on the off-chance Genessia picked up another weirdo poor, innocent cosmic castaway. And so long as he's walking, he may as well recite verse, lyrically as he could manage.

"I'll deliver all;
And promise you calm seas, auspicious gales,
And sail so expeditious, that shall catch
Your royal fleet far off."

He took one look to see if any of the water was being disturbed, but was otherwise oblivious to the scamp in the shadows.

[Belle was currently carrying a rather large selection of books. She had been on her way home. Thankfully she at least carried them in around two or three bags. In order to get back home she always found herself wondering past the Bay and each and every time she would find herself glancing in, just to see if there was anyone she knew.]

It wouldn't be the water being disturbed, as Sasuke was rather... Creatively? Hiding away. A strange man talking to himself, and for the moment Sasuke would continue to watch from the shadows.

What is this man up to? From above he observed, sticking to the ceiling and effectively hidden near the mouth of the cave.

[ For a while he watched in silence, taking her in before finally deciding to leave his hiding place. He was apparently hiding from nothing at that point, and it was bugging him to not know where he was and to have no information from anything other than the genjutsu in the cave.

Yes that's what Sasuke thought the hologram was, it made the most sense.

Unfortunately, the very pretty lady with the huge stack of books didn't really warrant his notice other than as a potential threat at the moment. ]

Blonde, colorfully dressed, talks often about belief, not the brightest...I'll stahp

Ted would've walked by, and might have never known the company of a ninja, were it not for his constant companion: Gengar. Too oblivious to notice? Too suspicious to reveal? None to worry; he'll break the ice the way he knows best.

One perk of keeping the ghost pokemon near was the cooling effect he had, by about ten degrees. Sasuke might feel that too, if his senses were acute. Ted felt a tug on his shirt, cutting short his verse. "What? What is it, G--" Another disappearing act. Where had he gone off to?

He'd soon know. Gengar had made his way into the caverns, blending into the shadows that were his domain. Then he'd do what he did best: prank. He had a sixth sense for finding out when someone really, truly deserved it, creeping behind the boy. His red eyes would slowly appear just on his periphery, and once he got his full attention, yell and spook with his large tongue flapping wildly. "Ellelelele!"

Oh right...

The instant Sasuke saw red he reacted; he jumped back, barely managing to cling his feet to the wall as he reached for a kunai from his pouch. His sharingan was active, clearing his sight, allowing him to see--

What the hell was that.

It didn't have chakra, whatever it was. At least not trained chakra, he could tell it was a living thing but that was about it.

"What do you want," The boy's voice growled low when he asked, falling into a defensive stance. He also wanted to ask about what it was, but one question at a time. He had to find something to substitute with, and fast...

Gengar's eyes followed the kunai greedily. What else does he have in that pouch? Food? It better be food. The 'mon put a thoughtful finger to his cheek, then motioned towards the pouch. "Gengar. (I wanna play with your stuff.)" He'd then leisurely float towards him, reaching for Sasuke's stash with his invasive, incorporeal ghost fingers.

Rather than let him do what he wanted, Sasuke darted back and away from Gengar. Eventually he figured it was faster to fall, and so he did, hitting the water and quickly re-adjusting his chakra to stand on it. With his footing back, he let his weapon fly directly towards the creature.

... Only to see it pass right through.

An illusion!?

The boy was on edge, immediately looking around to see if it had appeared somewhere else, not aware that the monster above was no illusion.
