Who: Lucy and Natsu (and later Wendy)
When: Backdated like WOA, 3/30/14
Where: Fairy Haven, the most happenin' guild on Earth!
What: Evil things. They.. they're just. Evil. So evil I can't even talk about it.

It's been a busy, busy few days at the new Guild lately! Finally dealing with the witch that had been causing trouble for their newly adopted members, not to mention Erza getting injured - not that it seemed to slow her down that much.

Still! To come up with a cure for the poison in Erza's system, Regina needed a special herb, which Lucy had offered to collect. Something simple and boring, she could get it and trot back before anyone even knew she'd gone anywhere. No harm right?

On her return, Regina had immediately busied herself out in the courtyard with mixing an antidote (sorry it kinda stinks out there right now). As for Lucy? Lucy was up in her room ~~plotting evil~~ modeling her latest acquisition. ... what, a girl can't go shopping?

Since the courtyard is compltely off limits due to the strong scent in the air wreaking havoc with his keen sense of smell, Natsu had decided to try spending the rest of the afternoon with Lucy. Hopefully this time without Erza catching him in any compromising poses.

Which was why Lucy would have a visitor right about now, climbing in through the window coughing a bit because yeesh that stench from the cure was some potent stuff. "Hey Lucy I've come to pl..." He froze on the spot seeing his partner's state of dress.

So far so good! Lucy turned one way, and then another, studying her reflection when she heard that cough, turning to look at Natsu as he climbed in the window.

Came to play? Was that what he was going to say? He's so silly. "Natsu!" Beam beam! Of course when she was facing him he might spot a small bandage on her wrist. Tis but a scratch, no worries!

But she was trotting right over to him like she hadn't seen him in five years, since she's.. reaching out to pull him close in a hug! "Where have you been all day?"

... that's probably the first clue that something's up.

Something was definitely wrong with this picture. Unfortunately that conclusion was stalled quite a bit thanks to him trying to wrap his head around what on earth she was wearing. He'd seen her in fairly revealing clothes in the past not to mention seen her without anything at all on several occasions. But this oddly designed outfit was more eyecatching than he could even realize.

It wasn't until he felt her arms around him that he remembered the ability to speak.

"W-What do you mean? I've been here all day long. But forget that. What the heck are you wearing?!"

"But I haven't seen you for most of it!" Well that was partially her fault anyway. She was leaning against him quite comfortably until he remembered how to speak - and... wait, he... he didn't like it?

She leaned back, "I went shopping this morning, and saw this outfit at one of the shoppe's. I'm not sure about the hat, but I think the rest of it looks pretty good. What do you think?" She took a few steps backwards.

Dear god she's modeling it for him. Pausing to put the hat on her head, then taking it off a few minutes later. "I think I'll leave it off." Yep this is TOTALLY normal Natsu, why would you think otherwise.

"Well you're the one who went off without me." He pointed out with a side glance in Lucy's direction. Unfortunately his eyes were not obeying him in the least and they kept roaming over the costume that barely provided any modesty.

But then she asked for his opinion. The problem was his opinion was a mix of many different and conflicting emotions.

"W-Well it um looks..." Dammit his eyes just couldn't stay focused.

Poor Poor Natsu. WELL, fortunately for him, Lucy's attention span locked onto that initial comment. So he's saved from coming up with just what it looked like on her. "I'm sorry," she pouted slightly. "But you'd only have been bored anyway. It only took a second to pick a few plants."

She leaned forward, which is probably the worst possible thing she could do in that outfit, "How about I make it up to you? I'll make a nice dinner for you! One of your favorites, okay?"

Thank mavis for whatever respite he got that wouldn't involve him being completely truthful. Not that her bending over like that helped ground him into the here and now. He gulped audibly and tried to lean away despite being unable to keep his eyes focused on her face in the circumstances.

"Uh yeah yeah. Dinner sounds great!."

Lucy grinned, straightening again as he leaned away, motioning for him to go with her. "All right, come on then!" She's just so -happy-. She'll wait for him to go out the door ahead of her.

... Which is when she attacks! Sorta. She actually attempts to hop on his back and wrap her arms around his neck, pressing against his back by way of leaning against him. "Carry meeee!" If he moves though, she'll end up just latching onto his back either way.

Promise her you'll never speak of this again later.

She's happy. Way too happy. But at least she's distracted now so he best humor her before she does any more stressing things for poor Natsu.

At least that was what he believed before he suddenly felt her latching onto his back. "What the-?! Hey what are you trying to pull?!" Instinctively though his hands do move around behind him to steady Lucy so she would go falling off.

Such a good partner! She knew he wouldn't let her fall! So when he shifts his arms to steady her, she leaned forward a bit more, curling her arms around him loosely.

Ahh.. he's so warm. Such a silly question though! She leaned forward, resting her chin against his shoulder. "Mm.. Carry me...~! Come on Natsu.. it's not far."

She totally didn't just brush her cheek against his hair a bit there. Except she did.

Of course he wouldn't. Both now or ever. She was after all someone precious to him and his first true partner outside of Happy.

Though it was hard to keep up that pretense with her body pressing against his back like that and any protests he might have had died in his throat when he felt her genuinely nuzzling her cheek against his hair.

"O-Okay okay I'll do it." He said and quickly carried Lucy over to the kitchen.

Pity the kitchen was as close as it was, she was kind of enjoying the piggyback. But alas, like many things, the fun comes to an end and she has to hop off of his back again. The pout doesn't last long on her lips, and she's smiling at Natsu again.

"Okay, I won't take long. You go on and sit down at the table and I'll be out right away." or whenever the food is done.

Pity indeed. Wait. No it was fortunate. Very very fortunate. Wait why was it fortunate? Aaah he was starting to get so damn confused.

"Uh sure." Natus said and took a seat dutifully at the table before his eyes drifted back towards his partner. A mistake he would find to be quite enjoyable deep down.

If she noticed him watching her, she wasn't saying anything about it. It was normal anyway, he was always keeping an eye on her. Just like she tended to watch him when she thought he wasn't looking.

Still, she hummed merrily, with the smell of fish grilling soon filling the kitchen. Once that was finished, she calmly trotted over to his table, setting the dinner down. Yep, totally normal.

Oh wait, I take that back. Natsu is about to have a lap full of Lucy, who seems to think he's incapable of feeding himself. "Here, it's a new recipe. Try it,"

Say 'Aaaaah~!' and try not to choke at the fact that she's basically in Natsu's lap, with one arm around him, and the other manuevering the fork to spear food to feed him.

Yes it was perfectly normal. Peeerrrfectly normal. Totally wasn't letting his eyes wonder over her curves from behind. He wrenched his focus away just before she turned around with the food.

"Y-You know you could've changed before you started cooking. I wasn't in a rush or anything." Except the next moment he felt a warm weight in his lap and his head snapped around so quickly Natsu almost got whiplash.

"W-W-What?"

WOW, careful you don't hurt yourself turning around like that again. His point actually makes her pause. "Ahaha, you're probably right. I wouldn't want to get these clothes dirty .. but I'm already down here and everything, so I'll just have to be careful, right?"

RIGHT. Anyway! She's leaning a bit closer with that food. At least she doesn't say something really weird like...oh wait, she has. "Eat up Natsu- aren't you hungry?"

"W-Well if you're sure." That was a very weak response given she'd just disarmed his diversion with startling ease. And why was she leaning closer? Didn't she know what kind of view she was giving him?!

"E-Eh? Welll I uh uh yea I am. Just..." Words why must you fail him now!

Clearly the view she was giving him was taking a backseat to her goal of giving him food! Too bad he was too flustered and confused to enjoy it - Wait i mean what?

"Heehee, you're so silly." Yeah that's right, HE's the strange one. She doesn't lean any closer though, tilting her head curiously at the hesitance. "Just...?" Her smile drops somewhat into a pout. "You .. don't want it?" But.. but she thought he was hungry!

He was supposed to enjoy it. Yeah somewhere in the back of his head he knew that. However this was not normal dammit and the more unusual she acted the more he wanted to speak up. However when she brought out the pout and used that tone, he just lost then and there.

"Wha? No no no I want it. The food I mean!" Wait why did he even have to specify what he wanted!?

Yay! Crisis averted, Lucy smiled again, "Good~!" Poor Natsu. Everytime he wanted to speak up about how oddly she was acting, she ended up distracting him didn't she? Like now, as she cupped a hand under his chin and brought the food covered fork up to his mouth, "Ahhh~!" Be a good boy and suffer the indignity of your partner feeding food to you!

That smile was cheating. Even in these circumstances where Lucy was CLEARLY not herself by any stretch of the imagination. However denying the food any longer would only take that away again. He was trapped. completely and utterly TRAPPED.

So swallowing his pride and mustering up all of his courage, he opened his mouth.

All's fair in... okay so it was cheating. A little. But Lucy would say the same about Natsu whenever he smiled at her every day. Just... not to anyone and certainly not out loud. The eternal suffering of the mightiest Dragon Slayer. He's brought down would be gods, demons and countless, countless enemies. And yet when it comes to his very own partner, he can't refuse her and has to suffer her carefully tipping the food into his mouth, brushing crumbs away from his lip with a pleased expression. "How's that?"

Fortunately there were no witnesses. Since by now he was convinced that company wouldn't have stopped her with how strange she was behaving. Even so he dutifully chewed the offered morsel before muttering quietly.

"It's really good."

If anyone were to witness this, Lucy would have a very hard time explaining when she was back to herself. But it's true. She felt strangely at home right where she was. "Natsu?" She hesitated before feeding him another bite, "Are you sure you're okay?" Totally not the person she should be asking that to. "You seem a little..quiet."

Natsu didn't know how he'd gotten into this and no answer presented itself. However she was still as perceptive as usual. Which meant she picked up on his slightly more quiet state.

"Eh? Well no no I just-" Hang on. When he just looked away now he saw her hand. And the bandage around it. "What the? Where did you get that?"
