[This will be one of the few times that Toby bothers to use video. It's easier and he isn't really afraid of anything on the network, even after the recent odd occurrences. He's kneeling next to a motorcycle and anyone who knows about motorcycles will be able to tell that he doesn't have any idea what he's doing. He pauses and brings the video up to be directed only at his face.]

So shit's happening.

[He doesn't have the best social skills.]

Anyone want to grab a drink?

[Toby kicks the old bike on which sounds like it's dying as he pulls onto the street. It's what he can afford so he isn't to worried about it. he'll head directly towards a bar and as always he's the very large figure cut at the bar. Thanks to the video it won't be hard to identify him.

He orders a beer and then waits with his phone sitting next to him.]

[Cas watches whatever he's doing with that bike curiously, a small smile tugging at her lips.]

...do you even know what you're doing with that thing, baby?

[Clay saw his video on the network, which was weird for Toby in the first place, but curiosity got him walking around town. It wasn't hard to identify that bike outside one of Toby's usual haunts, and he heads inside, taking a seat at the bar next to the equally large man and flagging down the bartender for a beer.]

What shit's going down this time?

[Toby looks at Cas with a smile.]

Nope.

Why not come out and show me? I just bought it.

[Toby rolls his shoulders in a lazy shrug.]

I don't know. I'm keeping a look out on those I care about.... The creator offered to help. [He usually just silently stalks the network.] I'm just keeping Cas close.

It's someone who's claiming to be the most powerful in the universe.

[ Jefferson had honestly wondered if Toby had ended up disappearing after a while of not catching any glimpses of him around. They weren't friends by any stretch, but not hearing from someone for an extended period after knowing they had been through some rough circumstances was a decent enough reason for concern. ]

Excuse me? Hi. Why do you have a motorcycle if you don't know how to handle it? You're completely disrespecting that machine and it bothers me.

[Seriously, this guy doesn't even have a full time job.]

I'll buy you one drink. I owe you.

[At least that's how Toby sees it.]

Do you really know how to drive it if you can't take care of it? Because that seems like a huge contradiction. You should probably have someone teach you proper maintenance instead of tinkering until you break it unless your actual goal is to add more parts to the scrapyard.

I'm used to stealing bikes as I need them. No trace, no reason for repairs.

[He has Cas to teach him basic maintenance, he can change his oil and replace a fuel line. That's mostly it.]

Are you planning to help or just keep talking because I'm going to stop listening.

[Toby takes a long sip of his beer before turning towards Clay.]

I've been meaning to ask, the last few times we've met up you've always smelled like the same girl. Why?

[It's unusual for him.]

You said to get a hobby.

[She also said that she'd teach him if he had a bike to work on though unlike hers this one runs. It just sounds like it's dying when he turns over the engine.]

[She's laughing as she turns off the video feed and steps outside.]

[Toby is tall compared to Cas, even when kneeling next to the large bike. He looks up at her feeling a smile tease the corner of his lips.]

[Really its just because she can probably help him learn. He isn't interested in asking others.]

[Clay chooses to delay answering this question by taking a sip from his beer. He doesn't look over at Toby, either.]

Why's it matter?

[He points this out with an accusatory tone.]

It's strange and they smell...

[He's about to say not human but he wants to see Clay's reaction first.]

[ There's a shadowy image of Nick, and he looks at the bike with a puzzled look on his face. He's got no idea how to fix one either, but he can tell when a fella looks a bit lost. ]

I don't think she's gonna start if you keep doin' what you're doin'.

[ The tables were 100% full but they didn't reserve the bar stools, at least. ]
