So, after a few hours of some private time in The Bay, it would appear that Kodachi Kuno has managed to, perhaps in record time, land herself a patsy to do her bidding- At least that's the impression she has thus far! Having some experience before in the whole 'dropped into another world' thing, she'd managed to both get him somewhat up to speed on his situation, as well as convinced him that she's very... Helpless, and in need of a strong, handsome man to take care of her.

Which brings us to now, in which she's convinced him to get a job so she'll have time to do more important things, like.. ... ....... .. Not work, for one. At current the duo are standing in line at the employment facility, and the plan (at least for now) is to get him hired as a chef.

Kodachi herself is adorn in her brown St Hebereke school uniform with the most innocent expression on her face, though she's really here to make sure he doesn't get cold feet and run away or something silly like that.

"Oh! I have a most brilliant idea, why don't we introduce ourselves to the network!" the Black Rose suggests with a brilliant smile, and before the man can respond, Kodachi is already holding Brock's arm and holding the rune out as if she were taking a selfie.

When the feed goes live, viewers are greeted with the face of a young schoolgirl adorn in a brown school uniform, holding the arm of a young man possibly a little older than herself.

"Good day everyone, how do you do?" beat "That's good; I'm Kodachi Kuno and I've arrived not too long ago with my very close, very cute friend Brock! Look at him, isn't he so handsome?" another pause, "Yes, of course he is, but anyway I just wanted to let you all know that this talented young man is a fantastic chef where he's from. Why, he's the best in the very world!"

"So if you're clever, and I know all of you chickadees are so very clever, you'll be certain to come to wherever he's going to work at and give him all of your money! Doesn't that sound lovely? Of course it does, I thought of the idea after all! But I digress, everyone don't hesitate to say hello to him, all right? Thank you~."

Unfortunately for everyone, Ranma happened to wander around the corner at that exact moment. She hadn't had much luck finding whoever was responsible for their current predicament, and money was starting to get tight, so...

...oh, crap.

For a second she briefly entertained the delusion that she was seeing things. But, nope. That sure was Kodachi over there, locking arms with some guy Ranma didn't know. Maybe if she stayed perfectly still and didn't say anything nobody would notice that she was standing there.

...maybe? Anyone?

Brock has Kodachi's full attention for the moment, but it's been a little strange because whatever came out of his mouth generated as babbling in her mind. Her may or may not have been actually babbling but she's pretty certain whatever he has to say isn't important unless it's him answering her questions.

She's pleased that he seems to be easy enough to train, but molding someone is a completely different story, and she isn't sure how she'll pull that off- That vest is so... Gaudy.

"I feel that was a good take," she muses aloud, "Though I do hope it got my good side. After sleeping for so long, I'm sure I have bags under my eyes. How do I look, Brock?" Brock. That's a rather brutish name, isn't it? As she ponders on that she withdraws a compact from her blouse and looks into it at eye level.

And wouldn't you know it? It just so happens to catch the reflection of Ranma right in there! Her eyes go wide, and she quickly snaps the thing shut as her teeth grit, her eyes narrow, and her shoulders tremble.

Impossible. Simply impossible! How could the pig-tailed girl be here too? What could this mean? What should she do for that matter?

Hook line-and-sinker, Brock was more or less vexed by her beauty and had no idea how deceitful she actually was. To him, there was no way a woman of her class and poise would be able to deceive someone. Kodachi was a beautiful angel who could do no evil in his eyes. He was in a state where he caught key words, but missed most of the details. This usually happens when Brock falls for a girl, and it didn't help that she was leading him on.

"Your beauty is paramount, Miss Kuno!"

She rivaled even some of his favorites like the marvelous Joys and Jennys.

She's been spotted! Now what?

Thinking quickly, Ranma pasted a big smile on her face; the kind of smile she usually reserved for Kunos faaaaaake. A nervous laugh bubbled from her throat. "Hi, Kodachi! Hi, Kodachi's boyfriend! Nice to meet you. Aaaand now I simply must be going!"

And now she would start to sidle towards the nearest alley.

"Yes, I suppose it is," She in too sour a mood to fully appreciate Brock's flattery.Well, it'd do no good to attempt to end Ranko's life right then and there; no there's a time and place for that, but sadly now is not one of those times.

Regardless, she's not going to just let that trollop get away so easily either! Like a cat eying a mouse, it's practically instinct that she whips her weapon outward which whips about a trashcan, then swings overhead in an attempt to capture Ranko! Hopefully covered in whatever papers and wrappers are in said can. "Not so fast!" she yells, though catches her tone and tries to follow up with something more sweet.

"You can't leave so soon, we're far too close for a simple 'hi' to suffice, wouldn't you agree?"

And then the inevitable happens. Akane chances upon the scene, out for an afternoon jog when she catches sight of Kodachi and her boy toy. She should keep jogging and pretend she didn't see them, but instead she's so surprised she stops short.

"Oh no.. you've got to be kidding me..!"

[Karla listens, unsure of whether she should even take this broadcast seriously. However, she is curious enough to respond and try to learn more. But what to say...?]

Well all was going somewhat well, and the line wasn't too bad, but they were still stuck in a wait. He still hasn't fully accessed his situation, and not to mention Ash and Misty were nowhere to be seen. He's not entirely sure what he should do if he were to remain stuck here without them. They wouldn't last long.

It seems people from Kodachi's world were here though. "Ah--who's that?" She was kind of cute too.

[Blink.. Blink. Kodachi stares quietly for a good eight seconds or so. Then out of nowhere she just breaks out into the most obnoxious laughter behind the back of her hand. Some say it's akin to nails scratching down the chalkboard.]

Kodachi appears to be in a good enough mood, and wasn't expecting to get so many responses. At this rate, she'll be living it easy in no time!

This good mood is slliiiightly soured by Akane; because the pig-tailed girl was bad enough. Come on now. But as unhappy as she is, she has to put on a good face in front of Brock and so she raises a hand to wave to the Tendo heir.

She should confirm if this Akane remembers her nonsense at Mallow or not.

"Yooo-hoo! Akane~. What are you doing all the way over there?" she makes a come-hither gesture. "Come over here and let me get a good look at you~." and your fat head!

Thinking quickly, Ranma lifted her hands above her head so that the rim of the trash can landed on her palms. Of course, that didn't protect her from having the contents of the can emptied onto her head. Luckily there wasn't any food in there.

"Hey, you! What're you tryin' to pull?!" Ranma did not look amused. Not even a little bit. There was certainly no way she was getting any closer unless it was a fight - she'd be much happier if there were a few more city blocks between her and Kodachi.

Fortunately (or unfortunately?) for Brock, Kodachi had her full attention right now.

Akane's jogging in place slowed slightly at that comment. Already she's suspicious. Kodachi is plotting something, she knows it. She slowly walked over towards the other woman, wary.

"Kodachi... that is you, isn't it?" Because you're not acting like you. But you DO know her name so..

[Kodachi stares blankly for a moment, then breaks out into laughter once she realizes what happened. She'll take it!

Her laughter could be described as a banshee being strangled to death.]

Oh goodness; well I was trying to pull you! Over here! Come now, my sla- friend wants to meet you!

Brock she's my friend.. Ah.. [ ... Pig-tailed girl.. Uh pig-tailed... Pig. ] .. Miss Piggie~. Despite her choice of fashion she's not that trashy.

[Oooooh Brock wanted to take her hand so bad, but his arrangement with Kodachi...call it a leash. Brock may have been a womanizer, but he wasn't disloyal.]

[He's really not going to take all that credit about being a wonderful chef. Brock just happened to have brothers and sisters he use to take care of back home. So he was good with things like cooking and cleaning.]
