It seems like the fates were conspiring to make things awkward for a certain pair at the Guild lately. Lucy was cool with that. Awkward was fun -- WHEN IT WASN'T HER. In any case, the temperatures warming up had the young spirit mage finding her way to the nearest ice cream shop in Genessia. She'd left an open invitation for the others to join her when they were unoccupied of course. Anyone who happens upon said ice cream store will find her at the counter, studying the list of treats like they held the mysteries of the universe.

Flonne had been invited by Lucy to go get ice cream with her. Flonne was always happy to make new friends and ice cream sounded amazing. So after a while of trying to find where to go, she managed to find her way. She was eventually able to find Lucy, running over to the girl. They hadn't met in person yet, but it looked like her from the camera.

"Hello, Lucy-san," she said happily, her devil tail curling about.

Hrm.. Pistaschio mint? Black cherry? Peach? ... Oh there were just far, far too many types, how could anyone cho- "Ah!" Lucy startled a little at the voice, recognizing it before she saw the girl behind her.

"Hi! Flonne, right? It's good to finally meet you in person."

Flonne nodded with a smile.

"Yeah. It's nice to meet you in person too. I hope Laharl-san hasn't been a pain," she said.

Satsuki had found herself wandering.. Here. It isn't entirely clear why, she doesn't tend to do the 'ice cream' thing. Perhaps she can blame the very attractive shop sign- Whoever created that logo is a mastermind!

The bell jingles when once she steps in, and the moment her heel clacks upon the floor a bright light shines into the shop as if she were being followed by a spotlight.

Needless to say a lot of activity within the store comes to a halt as the Council President, sheathed sword in hand, steps inside in which the door closes and the light behind her vanishes.

Seeming oblivious to the attention she'd drawn upon herself, Satsuki starts toward the counter only to pause when she believes she sees a familiar set of wings, ".. Mn?"

Lucy smiled back, shaking her head, "Well really it was only the one conversation, and when I saw Natsu starting in the way he was I had to break it up or they'd be arguing with each other for hours. Over pudding."

AAA THE LIGHT! THE LIGHT IS TOO BRIGHT I'm burning u-- wait, no I'm fine.

Lucy glanced over her shoulder curiously, brown eyes giving the other woman a quick glance before smiling cheerfully. "You were in the mood for ice cream too, huh?" Wings? What wings, where?

No? .... Or -yes-?

Satsuki looks around a moment; she's more than certain she had seen a pair of wings. However they were clearly not Lucy's.

That said her gaze isn't very friendly. Not to say it's unfriendly, but she's a bit surprised that Lucy approaches her with such cheerful demeanor. "I suppose you could say that."

Satsuki ends up glancing to the absurd amount of flavors for a moment, but then back. "A moment ago.. Was there a fallen angel present?"

"That sounds about right," she said, giggling a little. Looking over to the ice cream area, "So what is your favorite flavor?"

... Can I phone a friend?

No, definitely not. Still she didn't look the least bit daunted by the massive lineface on Satsuki; after all, Erza was a million times scarier when she was angry! "A fallen angel? ... ah, you must mean Flonne..? Yes, she was here not too long ago - you just missed her. Is she a friend of yours?"

Lucy grinned, "Actually, I was debating that when you came in. They all look so good, I don't know how I could possibly choose one." And if she indulged in it too much Capricorn would never let her hear the end of it!

"Which one are you going to choose?"

Satsuki is slightly intruiged by the friendliness all the same. She wouldn't say she's exactly the most approachable person. ".. Not exactly, we've simply met before. But she was with her higher up last that time."

"So you know of her as well, then. I'd like to ask your impression of her."

Whoa D: Is that a no?

"Her higher up?" Did she mean that strange boy who was pitching a fit with Natsu over pudding? Though when Satsuki asked Lucy's opinion of Flonne, she naturally answered honestly.

"I think she's really sweet." She didn't know what would have made an angel 'fall' if she really was an angel, but... it had to have been for a good reason.

I was still hungry. ... .... Though I guess that is a no.

"Yes. He claims to be an Overlord." Satsuki explains with a shake of her head. It's difficult for her to fathom, but if he truly is a demon she supposes it isn't impossible.

That said she nods in agreement with Lucy; 'sweet' is an accurate word. "It's unusual to me that someone of that temperament could become 'fallen'." she ponders aloud.

"You must mean Laharl." The kid demon. WHo demanded pudding. Still funny actually. Although if he really was a 'demon' he wasn't quite like the demons from back home.

"I was just thinking that," Lucy agreed thoughtfully, "Whatever circumstances caused that... it must have been very important." .. she hoped it was worth it.

How dairy perceptive of you...

"Yes.. Him." Did her frown just increase a bit? Why yes it did, but she's still trying to keep tabs best she can- If he does manage to wreak havoc and survive, that would be very interesting. Following that she gives a slow shake of her head, "Curious indeed."

And really that's all she has to say about that. Small talk isn't exactly her strongest suit, she really doesn't have much else to say, and she isn't actually going to eat any ice cream. "Well then, thank you for your time." she says as she starts to turn away.

Hmm. Seemed she didn't care for the guy much - that would put her in Natsu's boat she supposed. Though when Satsuki turned to leave, Lucy blinked. Wait. Coming into an ice cream shoppe and NOT buying ice cream?

"Wait a second - weren't you going to buy something? The wait isn't that long."

Satsuki stands still for a moment, and takes a little longer than even she would expect to think upon the question.

No, she really was just here to look. That was normal, wasn't it? Did she do something improperly?

She turns back to face Lucy and replies, perhaps in too firm a tone, ".. I was of the impression 'window shopping' did not involve the purchase of products."

And she's serious. Dead serious.

... She almost expects a 'bazingahaha just kidding!' from the girl.

Almost. She smiles a bit awkwardly however, "Well ... no it doesn't, but usually when it's window shopping it's.. not over food. It's clothing, or furniture or something."

"Oh, I'm not sure. I don't think I've had ice cream before," she said, looking at what there was.

"..."

Well. That's rather embarrassing, and Satsuki finds herself for the briefest of moments at a loss for words. That ever so slight raise of her brows? That's surprise.

But in retrospect, that did make a lot of sense. Yet Satsuki isn't really certain she wants to consume any of that.. Stuff. "I.. See. I suppose I should make a purchase then." she decides aloud, and looks once more to the incredibly long list of available flavors. So many indeed.

".. Is the 'green tea' flavor commendable?"

"Well, if you've never tried it before you should probably start simple. Vanilla or chocolate is good." Unless Flonne wanted to go crazy and have the cookie dough or black cherry types. As for Lucy, she was ordering a pistachio flavored cone.

"But they're all good, I think."

Whoops, she didn't mean to embarrass you Satsuki. Also it's ice cream, not stuff. It's good things! EAT IT. EAT IT YOU BASTARD.

"The green tea? Yes, it's really good. If you're not sure you can buy a small sampler of it to be sure you like the flavor."

"Oh! Okay. I think I'll try chocolate then," she said. Although cookie dough sounds good too.

Shh Flonne, Lucy might get the idea to see if they could get a sampler of all flavors if they pool their money. And then Capricorn REALLY wouldn't let her hear the end of it! ... still a good idea though.

"Why don't we grab a table over there then?" Lucy offered with a cheery grin, waiting for Flonne to get her treat. "I'm kind of curious about you and your friend."

A two way street, that, but it's not like she had anything to hide about her and Natsu! ... uh... yeah.

"Okay!" Flonne said as she got her ice cream. Following her to the table, "Oh. What would you like to know about Laharl-san and I?"

Oh she will ask about her and Natsu eventually.
