[Accidental Video/Action]

[The feed starts with a view of the Bay's ceiling, from beneath the water. A second later and a hand reaches out and picks up the device, wiping it some. There's a glimpse of bright pink hair before the holder lowers the device to her side, seemingly unaware that the video was transmitting.]

This... shouldn't be happening... I need to find the others... I need to find Greg... Maybe Garnet will know what happened...

[Whatever she's talking about, she seems pretty worried. She stops to listen to the explanation of Weiss' hologram before venturing out into the city proper. She was easy to spot, at least. Eight feet tall, 10 if you counted the hair. She wore a black t-shirt with "Mr. Universe" on it, though the shirt stopped just short of her hips, and the white dress that extended beneath it looked as elegant and fancy as the shirt wasn't.]

Hello? You're broadcasting you know.

[He was doubtful the woman realised it. It was only polite to try and get her attention.]

Can you hear me?

[Sakura was just minding her own business, out and about roller blading around town, just to get out for a change.

But then, she slows down as she sees a really tall woman. She was fixated on the pink hair and the casual shirt with a lovely dress. An odd combination.

Her train of thought suddenly comes to an end when...

She crashes into the side of a bus stop booth.]

[Rude very rarely comes across people who are taller than he is. He certainly doesn't tend to come across people who have a good two to four feet on him - creatures, maybe, but that's a little different.

That's enough to intrigue him, even if that intrigue is tempered for knowing that if it comes to it, he's not going to be able to rely on his normal tactics quite so well here.]

[He's pretty new himself, but he's done enough legwork that he thinks he might be able to help.]

[okay...his life has officially gone bananas. Not only is he in this place, he hasn't seen the others and a newspaper he was sure he hadn't even ordered smashed through a window he couldn't even pay for.

And now... mom.

Why is Mom here? Why are they both here at the same time? Didn't everyone always say that the reason why she wasn't here was because they couldn't exist at the same time? He spends the next few minutes testing out his shield and bubble and then thinks to test out his healing abilities only he's not sure if he wants to risk a cut on broken glass.

And then a thought occurs to him... what if one of them disappears? He doesn't want her to disappear but he doesn't want him to disappear either!

He is going to very quietly freak out and watch what happens here until he can figure out just what to do]

[Rose blinks and glances around. After a long moment she looks down at the device in her hand, apparently bewildered by the prospect of it being able to broadcast video.]

This is new... How can something so small be capable of broadcasting video?

[She's just going to stare curiously for a while.]

[Rose doesn't see the impact... but she hears it. The concern for herself is momentarily forgotten as she rushes over to the young girl's side.]

Are you okay? That sounded like a pretty hard impact...

[Rose blinks as she looks down at Rude. The suit looks like something out of one of the shows she'd watch with Greg. Her hand drifts to her stomach, resting on the gem covered by the t-shirt.]

I don't suppose I could get directions to Beach City, could I?

[It's a little hard for Rude to know exactly where he should be looking when she's got so much height on him, which is why - though the shades mask it a little - his gaze is actually looking a little past her. He's taking her movement to mean he shouldn't look too hard at something at least, and he can allow for discretion for now.

He thinks about that a moment, then shakes his head.]

Haven't seen mention of it on the maps here. Don't see anywhere I recognise either.

[Which is about the best way he can communicate that she might be on an impossible mission.]

It's rather like a cell phone, though it looks a bit more advanced than the ones I'm used to. It's not hard for those to broadcast video.

[Well, that was different. It was bad enough being three feet tall around people who were only twice his height. Conan felt even shorter than normal right now.]

Hello? Are you looking for something?

That's rather impressive. I've never seen a cell phone that didn't fold up, or shaped like a brick.

[Rose doesn't really have a concept of not looking at a person or anything like that. The gesture is related more to the situation rather than any sort of embarrassment. She sighs before responding.]

I was afraid of that. Then what that girl in the hologram said was true? That this is some other dimension?

[Rose glances down at Conan, sinking to a knee so as to better look him in the eye.]

I was hoping to find someone I knew. There's... a rather urgent matter I need to attend to if at all possible... I don't suppose you know how to get to Beach City, do you?

I don't think I've heard of it, unless it has any other names. But if it is outside of Genessia, getting there might be difficult.

Really? That's rather old. Well, flip phones are still popular, but so are tablets and other items. Though, I can't really speak for here. The technology here is a bit more than what I'm used to personally.

[Sakura slowly picked herself up, but with skates on, she won't be back on her feet that easily. Her crazy good luck comes through again, barely so much as a scratch can be found on her.]

"Ah heh, I'm fine. I wasn't watching where I was going."

I see. ...I wonder if I can contact someone in Beach City then...

[She pauses, lost in thought.]

...Wish I could remember Fish Stew Pizza's number...

[Everything about Rose's body language just screamed that she was in mom-mode as she looked Sakura over.]

You're sure? You're not hurt anywhere?

I was afraid of that.

[She glances down, hand drifting to her stomach to grip something... oddly defined just beneath the shirt she wore, eyes locked on the pavement to the side.]

Then what the girl said in the hologram is true...

Based on what I know so far, you have no way to directly contact your world anymore. We're all pulled here from different realities.

At least, according to the welcome message.

Seems to be. Haven't found anything to suggest otherwise yet.

[And he's looked, but he's also not long been here himself.

Ah but he should probably remember his manners. She might dwarf him but she's still a lady and by saying anything at all he's sort of implied a degree of willingness to help.]

Name's Rude. Haven't been here all that long myself. Main city seems stable enough, though.

[He can't really speak for the outlying areas yet but it's a start.]

[Only he chose a parking meter so his 'hiding' spot is about two inches wide and he's in the opposite posture for even using it.]

[But... 10-feet of pink shades and ruffles, he's actually trying to figure if you're from his world or not. Because One Piece really is THAT weird. But have a three-foot tall (horns and hat included) SD blue-nosed reindeer just staaaaaaring suspiciously.]

I... can't say I've heard those names here, but if you want I can keep an eye out for you.

[Because she can totally understand wanting to find people you cared about.]

Yes, so I'm finding. But still, I must try. It's... a complicated matter, but the life of my child may depend on it.

[Considering the nature of Gems being interstellar conquerors, Rose was no stranger to the concept of other worlds. Other dimensions though... that was weird even for her. Give her a second. She's trying to process being cut off from everything she knows and loves - and possibly failing in bringing her son into the world.]
