[Do you like bunnies? Well, this is the post for you.

Pictures of bunnies everywhere. They ranged from realistic looking to adorably cartoony, and everything in between. The video showed a desk covered in sketchbook paper. Blue bunnies, purple bunnies, red bunnies, brown bunnies, yellow bunnies... It was a bunny extravaganza. Heaven help the person with leporiphobia.

Since the day he and Airy had gone to the book meeting he'd been working hard on it, wanting to do his best for her. And now, he seemed to have something. But, rather than send her a private message, this was a video open for anyone to see. He was used to private messaging being rather automatic, and he wasn't all that concerned about people seeing it either way.

Skill-wise? They were pretty good pictures. There might still be more for him to learn - after all, he just started - but the talent was certainly there.]

A-Airy...? Are these okay?

[He actually rather liked them. Colors were so fun to look at.

But then he realized, belatedly, that this was public. The device couldn't read his thoughts like he was used to. So, what to say to everyone else...?]

U-Umm... Hi. Airy, wrote a r-really good book about bunnies on the b-beach. E-Everyone should read it.

[That was enough, right?]

[OMG they're adorable!

Airy beams into the screen, her fingers lacing together while an excited smile pulls at her lips. She can't even begin to hide how awesome she thinks those pictures are.]

That's amazing Bracken!

[She laughs feeling that giddy feeling as it swells within her chest.]

I mean you're amazing! I love them! You should draw more!

[He was just happy that she was happy! And, he'd enjoyed making the pictures. It would be a lie to say he didn't get carried away at times and just enjoy the drawing for the sake of drawing.

Getting praised on top of it all was nice. He even felt pretty good about them, though he still wasn't sure quite how to accept praise.]

I... I will!

[Which just meant more bunny drawings in the future, because that's what he thought she meant...]

D-Do you think they'll be enough for the s-story?

Yeah! They're wonderful and more than enough.

[She isn't going to stop smiling any time soon.]

Have you just been drawing bunnies all this time?

Nn.

[He nodded readily with a smile. Maybe it was a bit much, but he didn't realize it.]

I-I wanted to make them good e-enough for your story. A-And, they were fun.

Don't worry, they're a lot better than my story.

[Ted made it clear that her story wasn't very good.]

Can you draw other things? You should see if you can sell drawings here. I know I'd buy one.

[She'll probably give him part of her book sales... assuming she can sell her book.]

[That stunned him.]

B-But it was a good story.

[He had no idea anything Ted said, and would actually be surprised considering his opinion of Ted. Luckily, he hadn't had to deal with that sort of conflict yet.]

I... I'm not sure. I could try. Wh-What should I draw?

[It might seem a little odd with the way Jaune stares at all of the bunny merchandise before saying as seriously as possible.]

I'll take all of them. How much do you want?

A... Ah?

[Taken off guard, when he turned the video he could only stare blankly for a moment.]

Oh, they... they were for Airy's story...

[He would be flattered, but he was too stunned at the second.]

I, I could draw you another picture?

[Certainly no judging about a man wanting bunny pictures. After all, he was a man who just spent weeks drawing bunnies.]

AH... not many people thought so.

[He'd been the only one who liked it.]

What do you like? I think you should draw what you like.

Oh. I don't know why I thought they were promotional. That makes more sense. I'll take Airy's story. Is it published yet? I'll pre-order it if I have to.

[This sounds like the best story ever.]

Do you have time? If you do, I'll pay you. I can wait.

Suddenly I feel like eating rabbit stew...

[Katze grins into the camera like the fiend he is.]

R-Really?

[He was both surprised and saddened. But, he couldn't stand up to other people's opinions. He wasn't a debater, and couldn't argue against them. All he could offer was his own opinion, which he stated again, more quietly and meekly.]

I liked it...

[Not that it was much, but it was all he could give.

He thought about what she said for a bit, mulling it over in his mind. He really wasn't a hard person to please and enjoyed a lot of things, but when it came to what he actively liked, that was a little harder to list.

But he did manage to come up with something, and smiled gently.]

I-I like you.

O-Oh, umm... I, I don't think it's out yet. B-But, I'm not sure...

[He'd read a rough draft, but he didn't understand a lot about the publishing process, especially not here. Plus it had been a few weeks.]

D-Do you want me to ask her?

Stew...? U-Usually I have rabbit steak...

[No, he wasn't even making the connection offhand. It just immediately reminded him of food they had at home.]

B-But that's kind of beginner food...

[The moment this little princess saw the pictures of bunnies, she was instantly hooked, but she could not find any words.

Except for one.]

"Bunnies~"

[Airy smiles.]

I'm glad you did.

[If one person likes it, then that's all that really matters. The point of any book is to bring entertainment in some form so if she can do that then she's proud of the story she's created.]

Ah-

[The sound cuts off in her throat and she feels her cheeks slowly turning pink.]

I don't think you'd want to draw me. [She doesn't think she's all that great.]

Rabbit steak? How many bunnies you'll have to kill for a proper damn steak! Those suckers are skinny!

[He may or may not be hunting for 'rabbits' now.]

[Naturally, he interpreted her doubts in an entirely different way. He thought she was pretty, and didn't see why she'd think otherwise, so it was more about his ability to be able to show that.]

I... I'm not sure if I could d-do good enough, but, I'd try.

[He shuffled in place a bit timidly.]

J-Just one, but it has to d-drop the meat.

[He thought back to the bunnies on his world, and the way he'd been chased around and nearly killed by one years ago.]

S-Some bunnies are big.

"I love bunnies!

Back home, I have a bunny named Thumper. He's really smart. But my father doesn't like him running around the castle, so I keep him in my room. And my capital, where I'm from, there are lots and LOTS of wild snow bunnies roaming free. We give them a safe place to live and they let us brush them for loose fur to make into clothes.

Who knew snow bunnies can shed a lot? Oh, and--"

[She can probably keep this up. Good thing her Sylveon, who is off camera, hit the mute button. The video is still going however.]

No that's not it!

[She hastily tries to correct him.]

It's just that I'm not pretty... you should draw someone else.

Drop the meat? Huh? Dontcha snap their necks and rip the fur off?

[The magenta alien can't help but grin a little. The thought of killing bunnies actually pleases him.]

It's messy work.

[Bracken really didn't mind. He might not take in every piece of information, but he was happy to listen. Heck, his best friend at home had been quite the talker, and he loved not having the stress of upholding conversations. He was happy to smile and nod.

When suddenly she was muted, he had a delayed reaction. Some slight confusion. He furrowed his brows and tilted his head. He waited, because he didn't want to be rude an interrupt, but finally he spoke up.]

I... I can't hear you?

[His greater tendency was to believe what people said, so he didn't immediately contradict her when she said it. It was more like he listened, digested the information, and took a moment to crosscheck it with the information previously in his mind. Then, after some checking and thinking over it - because he certainly didn't want to just argue - he became confused. He was thinking it over several times, but what she said wasn't working out as true for him.]

I... You're...?

[It could be a little rough for him, outright challenging someone, so he stumbled.]

I... think you're pretty.

[He hoped he wasn't wrong for saying that.]
