[Action] A Tour of Silvery Wonderland
WHO: Anastasia Leonheart & Abel Nightroad
WHERE: Archangel City sub archway.
WHAT: Anastasia gives Abel the grand tour of her grander city.
WHEN: August 18th.
[It was a usual day in the sub archway of Archangel City, capital of one of the mightiest nations in the history of it's homeworld. Light snow flutters gently from the sky onto the ground, tireless men casually sweeping snow off the roads. It was morning life as the children go to their schools and trade carts made their rounds through the city.
Anastasia, the Princess of the kingdom of which this city serves as capital, exits her castle accompanied by her personal guard. The castle guards stood at attention and dropped to one knee as the young princess passed. She boarded an awaiting carriage and instructed the driver to go to the inn where Father Abel Nightroad was staying at.
After a leisurely ride through the city, offering a little smile at all the citizens that wave at her, the carriage comes to a stop at the inn. She exited the carriage and entered the inn, leaving her guard outside. The proprietor's was surprised and delighted by Anastasia's visit. The young girl asked for Abel, and then she stands aside to wait for him.]

When he woke up, he felt much better and he realized in the morning, he is a guest in her kingdom. He ate his breakfast at the inner, and when he exit the inn, he found her waiting for him.
"Good morning, your Highness." He said. "What a beautiful morning." He enjoys the sight of the snow over the land.

[She doesn't have a route though, which always causes problems. Luckily, though, her guard was nearby and he approached. He was a red-headed young man dressed simply in a blue tunic and white tousers, and didn't seem as stern as other soldiers, hinting he and Anastasia are on a more familiar level.]
"Princess, I have taken the opportunity to draw out a route for you."
[The knight hands Anastasia a map.]
"Thank you, Noah... Okay, now we really are ready."
no subject
Smiling widely, "So you do plan on showing me around your kingdom? I would follow you. Tell me everything."
no subject
[She raises a hand to gesture her escort, who bows in greeting.]
"This is Noah, my personal guard. We've known each other since we were small. He's here to let the other guards in the city know that this is royal business and not you luring me away. All right, let's make our way to the first stop."
[She begins to walk east in a near straight line, they begin to pass large buildings on their right. Anastasia doesn't stop, but begins to speak.]
"On our right is an apartment complex. It's four buildings consisting of...umm..."
"Two-hundred rooms over three floors."
"Yes, that's right. The buildings are also in a box formation. Inside of it is the city square. We'll be back here later in the tour."
[Before long, they pass under a arch with a sign affixed to it reading, "Market District." After passing what appears to be an administrative building, they reach their first stop at the district square, which has a decorative fountain surrounded by square hedges.]
"And here we are in the Market District of Archangel. It's a commercial district, as evident by the name, where the citizens who craft for a living are allowed to sell to others inside of the city, or pack up for trading across the kingdom or internationally. This, of course, is the residential side of the district.
Feel free to ask questions or share your thoughts at any time, by the way."
"Except when Her Highness is speaking, of course."
no subject
"Would you show me more of the market? I wonder what they're selling."
no subject
What's also bustling closest to the food area? Snow bunnies. Lots and lots of snow bunnies. A creature native to this cold nation, they are incredibly smart as a few were working together to steal a carrot from a vendor, building a bunny ladder to do the deed. This time, they were successful and ran off with a single carrot.]
"Okay, Abel. You have the lead here. Feel free to browse at your leisure, and we'll stay close to you."
no subject
He smiled at the sight of the snow bunnies as they play in the snow and then they ran off.]
So I seen the market. Any other district you wanted to show to me and talk about?
no subject
[Anastasia smiles at him and wonders if he bought anything. Regardless, she gestures towards a bridge south of the district.]
"We can't go, and it technically doesn't exist in the sub archway, but past this bridge is the city's suburban town, appropriately named The Outskirts. Noah and his little sister live there. They currently live at the castle now.
Now, right this way."
[Anastasia leads the way east, under another archway and back into the center district.]
"Now we're in the southern side of the central district. On our right are shops for goods that need to be indoors to prevent damage. There's a general shop and a restaurant on the roof. The restaurant is haunted according to the people who eat here. Further down this ridiculously long building are other stores, including, but not limited to, high quality clothing, herbal medicines and the popular Cotton Tail Pub visited by foreign visitors.
On our left are homes. We shouldn't bother them." [She stops to look at Abel.] "Would you like to browse the stores here too?"
no subject
"Looks like these subarchways have their limits with their boundaries."
[Abel followed her on the path, through east and another archway.]
"I'm very impressed. Your kingdom has a lot to explore. Hm, any churches you have in your district?"
no subject
[Since they won't be stopping here it seems, she took a right heading south.]
"Yes, actually. We'll be passing a small chapel on our way to the Cathedral District, which is, of course, named for the Great Cathedral, one of the wonders of the world."
[And it just so happens that said small chapel is coming up. There was a young woman in white robe and light-green shawl tending to flowers hanging on the chapel's windows.]
no subject
He followed her down the path and the Cathedral came into view with their beautiful stained glass windows and the lady decorating the flowers to make it look better.
"May we come inside? I would like to have a look."
no subject
[It was only a small Chapel, but one that is well taken care of. The young woman looked up, smiled and waved.]
"The payment is a little piece of ourselves. But not just anything. For example, to pay for my sub archway, I gave up my ability to fuse my magic with sword techniques, which is my last line of self-defense. I may be able to use a sword still, but I'm not nearly as strong."
[The priestess welcomed the pair inside and even opened the door for them. It was a pleasant interior. A small aisle with two rows of seats, about 10 seats each. Most worshippers typically go to the Great Cathedral further south in the city.
Behind the preacher's stand was a large stained glass depicting the God-Queen, Pankosmia, surrounded by the eight minor Goddesses, wardens of the material world."

He's not that quite attached to Earth, but he still love Earth and her people. His only reason he as nothing to loose, was because he felt he loss everything. And the only reason he wanted to go back, was due to unfinished business with his twin brother.
"What a beautiful cathedral. I never seen the art like of this before." Since Abel is tired, he took a seat in one of the pews. "Let's rest for a while, I want to enjoy the peace of this place and admire the beautiful art of the stained glass windows, if you don't mind."
no subject
[Anastasia took a seat beside him, but leaves enough space for one person between them. During the quite time, the priestess from outside came in to speak.]
"Oh, Princess Anastasia. Good day to you. Does your father know you are in the company of such older gentlemen?"
"This is Father Abel Nightroad. I'm giving him the grand tour of the city."
"Oh, I see. You know, Princess... Trem's influence is supposed to be really strong this month. Which is good news for the girls at the Holy Academy. So tell me, has Pankosmia's Love and Mercy answered your calls yet?"
"No..."
"So strange... A Riveran girl who can't use Pankosmia's Love and Mercy for Faith Healing... But you instead have her Wrath, destruction magic... Well, the Divines gave you this power for a reason, and only they know what that reason is. ...Oh, but Princesses have more to worry about, such as enjoying her childhood while she has it. Both of you, take care."
[The priestess excused herself to continue with her duties in and around the small church.
Anastasia looked at Abel to see if he has any questions.]

Abel listened to the priestess's idle chatter and glanced at the priestess. Upon the leave and excuse of the priestess, "I wonder what's that about?" He said, asking Anastasia with a curious look.

"Ah. That's a shame. Think about the things you can do if you can heal others with your magic! I supposed being a doctor or nurse isn't going to be on your job list when you grow up to be a proper lady."
Abel felt relaxed and at peace with the atmosphere of the cathedral.
"What a beautiful cathedral." He said. "It's relaxing here."
no subject
[She would agree with Abel, though. This is a nice little place to rest in.]
"If you like this one, wait until you see the Great Cathedral."
no subject
"Sure, we have enough time, do we?" It was still morning, so Abel has the whole day to explore the kingdom.
no subject
"Yes. It's the next stop on the tour. We can be there shortly if we go straight there."
[She rises from her seat and waits to see if Abel will follow her lead.]
no subject
Continuing the tour outside, he's going to follow her quietly all the way to the Great Cathedral while passing by her subjects.]
no subject
She walked around the perimeter, and through the gate into a garden that flanked a walkway to the main doors into the ancient building. Before she opened the doors, she stopped and looked at Abel.]
"The Great Cathedral is the cultural and spiritual center of the kingdom. All manner of celebration begins here. Royal weddings, births and funerals, among others."
[As Anastasia was about to push the doors open, her companion guard, Noah, gently eased her away so he can pushed them open himself. The interior was much more massive and grand, with more stained glass depicting the divine history. The birth of the world. The rise of Pankosmia, the divines, and the three priests who served them, and the betrayal of one priest that destroyed civilization, and the re-awakening of Pankosmia. Behind the preacher's podium was a more detailed statue of the God-Queen.
There were enough seats in here to accommodate roughly half the city population.
Anastasia walked down the aisle towards the podium, which had a ceremonial table in front of it. It had three plaques on the front of the table facing where the people would sit. One plaque reads, "To whom we last bid farewell from our world." With it was a portrait of a elderly king.
The second middle plaque reads, "To whom we celebrate their unity." Which has a single wedding portrait of the current monarchs.
And the third plaque reads, "To whom we welcomed into our lives." And with it was a before-and-after portrait of Princess Anastasia herself, one as an infant and another as the young lady she is today.
Anastasia stands at the end of the aisle, watching Abel take in the sights from himself.]
