When Koishi took off her hat, Merrill focused in on the scar. "What a nasty wound. But I understand! I think a lot of people would want to be able to read others minds, but I don't think it's that glamorous. Especially if you couldn't turn it off."
While Merrill knew the dangers of demons and never to trust them, she couldn't help but feel a little empathy for the one before her. She seemed sincere and nice. And it wasn't every day she found a demon willing to do such a thing to itself.
